If you are a shady person who is good at hiding drugs or illegal businesses, running from the law and/or trying to stay out of jail from domestic violence issues, this is the PERFECT place for you!!!! INTOWN SUITES is the new name (it's no longer CRESTWOOD PLACE), but they aren't changing anything except a few minor room renovations. Bed bugs will still be in the walls, fleas everywhere. We move there Sept. 2015. Within a few weeks of being in our room we discovered we had bed bugs. Bad bed bugs. Management said "there are no bed bugs". Hmmm but they said we could change rooms.
Altho this was a really really bad warning sign, we decided to move to a new room. Problem solved, no bed bugs. Just major fleas!!!!! When I asked Daryl the Manager about it his response was "well maybe if you didn't have an animal you wouldn't have bug problems".. Hmmmm. The amount of animals he lets in and out of this hotel should actually be considered the reason for the ALL of the bugs here!!!
Things were moving along okay since the bedbug/flea drama and we were learning to take the good with the bad of living in a 2 star hotel.
However, we didn't realize living in a 2 star hotel meant experiencing the death of our neighbor by suicide, (his body placed in a body bag rolling down the hallway), Guests literally jumping out windows from doing drugs; Guests overdosing in the parking lot from needle use; CPS coming and picking up children from their addicted parents; neighbors talking about selling pills for $20 each (the walls are very thin); pit bulls everywhere that apparently you can get deemed a "service dog" by paying some amount to get the paperwork; domestic violence everywhere; neighbors fighting over drugs and yelling in the halls "you want me to rip you a new a*****e, boy?!" loud enough for my 6 year old to hear; cars literally running into the building causing bad damage; having to come inside and ask for mail and dealing with Jasmine,the other "Clerk" who has zero customer service skills or politeness (I can't believe she is allowed to work in the hospitality business) She is completely foul mouthed and rude. She's like moody train wreck 1 minute really nice and the next minute she's the devil.
Tonite I found out that this terrible management attitude comes from their District Manager who is here tonite kicking people out without any good notice for stupid reasons. I think they forget they are in the HOSPITALITY business but I don't even think they can spell hospitality seriously.
I've been here 7 months putting up with all this BS, always paying on time and dealing myself with the flea probolem in the room (by Boraxing and Bombing).. Yesterday me and my 6 year old come home from the Emergency Room.. both 103 temps with upper respiratory infection and he said to me "You need to clean your room if you can't then you need to find another place to live". I said, "I'm sorry but we've been sick for 2 days we are just getting back from the emergency room but we will straighten up no problem". The next day (less than 24 hours) he came over here when we were sleeping (still high fevers). We had picked up most of everything (there was nothing on the floor) only laundry on the couch and dishes in the sink. He claimed he was coming in for a "security check" and I let him in. Then 1 hour later he sent Jasmine up here to tell me that I had to leave TOMORROW by 11am because my room was "unlivable". They refuse to give me anything in writing. We've been here for 7 months and have never turned down housekeeping obviously we are not slobs. Last night our place got messy because we were throwing up all night and I was trying to take of myself and my daughter.
Now we will basically be on the streets as of tomorrow. He knows I don't have a vehcile at this moment and can't afford to pay $700/week for spring break rates around here. They don't care they are just bullies without a cause. I've already reached to a few connections who will get this publicized and hopefully InTown Suites will be exposed for what type of HOSPITALITY corporation they really are and we will hold them accountable for the undue emotional distress, hardship expenses of being kicked out, etc. etc. etc.
