CreditKarma.com stole my money and blocked me from accessing my account. This is a crooked bank and I highly recommend that you close your account or don't even open one to start out with I am here that this is an exit scheme bank.

Should you trust a bank with no fees don't drive off the same cliff I did! Here is the evidence Credit Karma Stealing. The evidence is right here: https://m.facebook.com/groups/1059361861619744/

CreditKarma's way of remedying your credit is to offer secured credit cards which cost money to use.

`I have had A Credit Score since 2009;Credit Karma has done OK up until June of 2019,Then, They aquired an ERROR in their Website that has kept Me from Viweing My Scores.; All they had to do,as I pointed out to them, is to CORRECT THE ERROR in their WEbsite so my Scores can be seen again.

ALL THEY HAVE DONE SINCE THEN IS COME UP WITH EXCUSE AFTER LAME,WEAK EXCUSE,and now they claim, quite FRAUDULENTLY, thet my score is Zero! Obviously, they are Ignoring the Federal Regulation that guarantees that once you have Credit(good or bad),and A Credit Score(It can go up or down),YOU DO NOT LOSE IT,EVER!

Two Years...And Credit Karma is STILL TELLING THE SAME LIES! I have Filed Complaints with the Better Business Bureau(A Colassal Waste of Time), and,The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau(A Colassal Waste of Taxpayer Dollars); Why do those two Orgs even EXIST?

Finally, I Filed Complaints with the State of California Dept. of Justice(File PIU:850148),and the State of North Carolina Dept. of Justice(File CP-20-02303); I am Expecting Updates on Court Proceedings from Both States; Also, I have filed Complaints with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center;I expect an Investigation to be Initiated.

My credit report shows I owe $430 on only one credit card I have paid off all other credit cards but credit karma is stating I owe this on my credit cards which is false they need to get their credit back straight before they post stuff against People's credit that is untrue.

#1

Pay this down with a personal loan

$2,536.00 credit card debt

(wrong all I owe is $385.00

Unless you pay this down every month, carrying this debt could be costing you more than it has to. Are you carrying this on your credit cards every month? Credit karma is stating I have a Bill in collections? which is un true. I paid off this Bill in full and I provided my lawyers with receipts and brought Emerald AR to Court and I won and was awarded from the courts because they fraudulently stated I owe money which I did not. COLLECTIONS

Emerald Ar Opened March 25, 2019 + $167 Original creditor: ARIZONA COMMUNITY SURGEONS Credit karma if they did their jobs and updated credit reports every month like they're supposed too? this would have been removed from my credit report 2 years ago but credit karma still has it on my report this is because credit karma is nothing but a scam and it's just ruining People's credit, and if people check credit karma for a job or a loan on people? You will be turned down for credit and possibly the job because credit karma only post false information on people's credit report. My credit score is 850 but credit karma stating it's 787. I'm going to be filing Court actions against credit karma they need to be shut down they don't do their job properly and it's nothing but a scam.

I cancel their services so now they will not release my last year tax return because I do not have an account which I deactivated my credit score account so now they will not let me access my tax information I have tried several times to get my tax information and they are refusing to help me all because I no longer want credit reporting services from them

Have been sigined up with Credit Karma for several years now. Loved getting fast, detailed look at FICO score, important factors, etc. That is until my credit score dropped 32 points!! (for NO REASON) in their TransUnion part of report.

Contacted TransUnion and they had NO SUCH record. Wasn't in any of their reports. IMPOSSIBLE to contact Credit Karma. Finally Googled info for CK location (? ) in San Francisco as it was only one I could find. Phone doesn't "receive calls"??? Email wouldn't load.

This company is operating like an off shore dating service or something. No wonder the bank didn't give any credence to their reports! I'd like to UNSUBSCRIBE but good luck with that! Yes, the site is FREE to use which just goes to show..."You get what you pay for" in this particular case!

I filed, or thought I filed, my taxes with Credit Karma. I used them since they already had all my financial information. I've waited a few weeks and tried to log in to check the status of my return. I can't log in. Says my account has been deactivated. By whom? They don't know. Okay, how do we solve this I ask. They reply that I have to wait six months and open a new account. It's for my "security". I need to know the status of my filing and they tell me that they will delete my unfiled returns. Returns? I only filed one. Unfiled? Wny didn't they file my return? They don't know but will "escalate" my inquiry. Meanwhile I'm sitting here not knowing if they did or did not file my return.

Caution! Warning! Use a reputable real service. Pay the few dollars. Now I may have the IRS after me for not filing. Fortunately I have all the communications between Credit Karma and myself to show the IRS that I did file.

The company" Emblem Mastercard by total Cards, Inc.) is absolutely horrible to deal with. Half the time their website to pay wouldn't let me log in even though my credentials were correct. Calling them to get anything accomplished is impossible and every person I have ever spoken to has been very rude and unprofessional. Then the nightmare began... I had my number taken when I ordered something on e-bay and they created a card with my number and were using it in Florida. When I reported it to Emblem the hoops that they made me jump through were ridiculous. First I was treated like a criminal. They called me a liar and said because it was an actual card being used that the charges were mine. I have never even been to Florida in my entire life. I live in Colorado and had proof that I was at work during the times that the charges were made. I filed a police report and submitted all required documents. I have a file at least two inches thick of all the documents requested as well as the numerous phone calls that it took to get this somewhat resolved. Then to top it off while they were investigating they told me that I had to make a payment on these items that or that they would report me late to the credit bureaus and I never carried a balance on my card I always paid in full so paying for fraud is ridiculous. After over 5 months of struggling to get this resolved they finally removed the charges. Then it was a matter of getting my money back that I paid so that it wouldn't be reported on my credit. Here it is over a year has passed and I still do not have my money back. AGAIN, HEED MY WARNING AND PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS CARD!!!! If I could give negative stars I would.

Do NOT trust these people's suggestions on credit cards or loans, though. I worked for months to get my credit up to snuff, obsessing day after day, doing the legwork, trying to make sure I covered all the bases. Because CK seemed to help me so much as far as information went, I started to generate a level of trust for them. This is when things went very bad indeed.

I came to a point where I not only needed a loan and/or a line of credit, but I was ready to start building. I took their suggestions on 2 loans. They said I had a good chance on both loans. WRONG. DENIED on both. Boom, credit scores took a huge hit. I was then told by their "blog" and "credit education" forum that a credit card would be the way to go. Well, they suggested a Capitol One card and said I had a VERY GOOD chance of being approved. In their system, VERY GOOD is the highest slot they put anyone in. So.....I applied. Wrong again. Denied. This time my credit took a hit that was massive, taking me down to a very poor level, and sufficiently screwing up my recently restored credit for the next 2 years. I am virtually back to where I was to begin with when I had bad accounts, before I cleared them and raised my score. So I am now back to square one, but there's nothing more to do to immediately improve my score. I can try to dispute the inquiries, but the chances are low of having them removed. I think I'll be stuck with a secured card, which is better than nothing but not what I wanted.

I subsequently learned through forums other than CK's, that CK's scores are, in fact, NOT true scores, but meant to be "educational". After downloading CreditWise, the Capitol One app (which I should have done beforehand), I learned that my scores were actually MUCH lower with them. Nearly 100 points! Of course, you won't find that on their website in any way that is guys have gotten me turned down for 2 loans and a credit card, I suppose I should've been smarter and really, it's my fault. Just putting it out there for people to know that just because something says your odds are "very good"....(as it says in CK's disclaimer, and I will take a step further)....they most likely AREN"T. Do not pay attention to CK's suggestions based on algorithms.

The reason I write this report is I believe that CK, while operating within the law and still following the FCRA, artificially inflates credit scores in order to entice people to apply for the credit cards of their sponsors. While a free credit score and report is nice to have, it doesn't really matter at all if they aren't true. I wonder how many regular Joe consumers out there every day take the bait and make CK richer, and end up extremely sorry for it. This is a deceptive business practice, and in the end, the blame falls on me because I should have been more aware of these types of cons. Frankly, I feel duped and stupid. Live and learn. But I want to warn others.

Its not as if I like wasting my time on this insideous credit score for "free" scam operation. I am 7, disabled vet living on low income ssa. But here I go for what ever its worth because I doubt my complaint will change anything that is if the enormous # of other complaints on file with Rip Off.

I have paid sme $100 per month for credit repair with Lexingto Law (this is not a complaint on them), and eventually my score rose to 644. That was well over a month ago. Now on 9?26 I have tried every resorce that offers "free credit scores to poor slobs like me. Every one of those offers requires I provide a valid bank card data which I refuse to do. Point being WHY do they need me to open my finances just to obtain a "free score?" Of all of them I have treid, unsuccessfully to obtain "free scores" many times from karma. Not once hhave they accepted my "ID" for password reset . EVERY TIME they claim "SORRY WE CAN NOT CONNNECT YOU WITH INFO PROVIDED' Thern they switch you to " a way to get your scores' which KARMA requires my life history. Like I am going to write answers to every question they demand answers to just so they they determine if I desrve Credit Karma "free scores". Right, like I have not bveen ripped off by similar scam ops, give them my vitals which the DO NOT NEED TO FULLFILL THEIR ADVRTISED PROMISE TO CONSUMERS> Well my being a successful AX MURDERER all my life I have no problem giving this s**t outfit all my data send it to them so they can peddle my data to whomever is their hghest bidder!!!!

So here I sit, near one hundred percent UNABLT to receive anf "free scores" without having to join their $ 1.00 down, then 7 days later club they start snatching your (my) money from my acct, probably related to me being a sucker and requesting my "fgree scores" from Credit Karma...U know what "they" say about "KARMA" right, what goes around comes around. I have reported this to CFPB and I would BEG all who have issues to got the the net, type in Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, attn Richard Cordrey, Director. You'd be surprise what they can do to criminal scammers like I allege Credit Karma really is AND tyhe 3 Credit Score Bureaus who whose main interest is NOT to give you your scores but in fact intnds to HUSTLE you into buying their $49 per month we are gonna save your a*s serice.

THANK YOU for tolerating my venting and rant, the problem id I have little $$ enough to survive. I do not need to be scammed so I can't buy grocerys. I am not without my own blame for my situation but I don't need help to get worse off by scammers. I know. I lost over $600 of survival money to scammers. Now all of them are like ingrown toenails in my life

This is from my over personal experience.

Look around and seek other options.

This Company has listed my credit score as poor for years. Basically when loans were paid off, etc. my score remained poor, low 600, etc.

I was never late nor missed any payments; yet I still was rated poor as in poor credit risk and subject to high interest rates if approved.

They offered me credit card offers that they stated I have a "fair" chance of getting the card.

They use their own scoring system called vantage 3.0 which is different than the FICO scoring system most companies use.

Now here come the kick in the head.

The main credit reporting companies USE FICO scoring NOT vantage 3.0..

My FICO score is in the mid 700's very very different than reported by Credit karma.

Almost ALL companies use the FICO scoring syatem.

Auto dealers on the other hand use a scoring system of their own so remember that when you try to finance a vehicle through them.

Credit Karma may be marginally useful in keeping track of your credit score (although the score they report usually differs wildly from other sites I've used, even though they all say they're reporting my TransUnion score), but their credit card recommendations are worse than useless. None of the credit cards they have ever recommended saying my chance of approval is 'Good' have ever approved me. Not one, not ever. All I have for following their recommends is additional inquiries on my credit report, which have cumulatively lowered my credit score. I don't expect every application to be approved, but these guys are batting 0%!

It is my opinion that there is no method to the recommendations Credit Karma makes, that they just get a commission on every card application they generate, and they label your chances of approval as 'Good' based only on whichever company is offering the highest commission at the time.

As an indicator of how concerned Credit Karma is about customer complaints, here is an e-mail I sent them regarding this matter:

"Sirs: None of the credit cards you have ever said I have a good chance of approval have ever approved me. Not one, not ever. All I have for following your recommends is extra hard inquiries on my credit report, which have cumulatively lowered my credit score. Whatever system you are using to assess members likelihood of approval is less than worthless."

...and here is the response I got from them:

"Your request has been solved. To reopen this request, reply to this email.

I recently went online to view my credit score for first time using CraditKarma.com but when i tried to log on as first time user i found out my email was already being used to open an account. prior to this i had been hacked by overseas persons and had my computer system invaded and most of my information was at risk. i immediately reported this to creditkarma.com that i had never in past used thier services and that i only recently tryed only to find out my email was already being used to set up a account with them. i also told them that my system had recently been hacked (which was later repaired) and that the user using my email was not me and that i wanted this account to be closed due to the fact it was imposter and they were reciveing this information on my credit score for illegal uses. i have yet to find that the account has not to the best of my knowedge yet been deactivated. and only got the run around and run around more when i tried to close this account. i got a message from credit karma today asking me to rate thier dealings with me in which i gave them a very negative report and told them that if this is how they protect thier clients information that it is a very bad form of protection. i was in two occasions transfered to the banking system (i forget the name now ) but the one that works in conjunction with credit Karma and explained htis to them in which i have yet to hear from them on my complaint. this has been nearly three weeks now and i still not sure if this account in my name has been cancelled or even taken serriously by the people at creditKarma or their main branch.

I felt it importatn to the public that this situation whether it be unique or a consistant issue i dont know but they should be informed that at least in my experience credit Karma does not take the securty of their cleints very serriously nor do they try to work with indiduals to resolve issues they incounter. since this hacker was from China who had gotten into my computer system and almost shut down my system without my knowledge. it is possible that the individual who created this account with credit Karma is also from China and who knows what they have intentions of doing with my credit score. I am not happy knowing that even when i made this complaint to the authoritys of Credit Karma and thier main office bank branch that my complaint was delt with in a negative and run around manner. i would of thought that a company who delt with indidual credit scores and creidt information would of at least been more concerned with trying to stop criminals from using thier site to do whatever they had intentions of in illegal manner. and was shocked to learned that all the individuals who i filed a complaint with in hte credit Karma family all treated this issue with nothing less then a shrig of the shoulder and non responseive manner.

not once have they approached me in a professional manner to clarify the issue or to let me know that my credit score is protected and that they had closed this account. and to the best of my knowledge this hacker could very well still be using it. for what ever purpose they have in mind.

I started to register for a Cred Karma account. On the initial form, it asked for the last four digits of my social security number. I filled out the form, and I got a screen that said to now type in your full social security number. I thought it suspicious that there would be conflicting requests within the registration process, so I left the site without completing my registration. Then I received an email welcoming me to Credit Karma. Within the message, it said if you did not create an account contact them via [email protected], so I did. I got an automated reply that said we need more information, and it gave a link to an online help request form. I tried to fill out the help request form, but it didn't work. It kept saying the description field cannot be blank, There was no field labelled description, and all fields on the page were filled in. So I emailed support again, telling them about the problem with the form and again requesting they remove my information from their system. I got another automated response, the same as the first one. So, this time I replied to the message, instead of starting a new one, again asking to be removed. Another automated response. Bottom line, they seem to be collecting email addresses by luring people to their site. I assume I can expect more spam now.
