Over a month ago I saw the avertisement of the Crazy88 Auto Sales on TV so I called. They had me believing that I would only pay 88 dollars down and 88 dollars a month and that I was already approved and to take advantage of the deal now. I was in a tough situation and needed my own car and because they claimed to be a "Government Funded" program, I took a chance. Once I applied on line, of course, the phone calls started to come in. I was not called by one entity, but 3 or 4 claiming that they were with this program and to come to there dealerships.

USA Auto claimed that they were the only dealership in Houston that were with this program, so on that same Saturday, I went in. Well they had a bunch of customers in the dealership, which is a used car dealership, first of all and they were very unorganized in their dealings. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stayed to see what they had to offer. People were leaving with cars, so I figured I would be fine. Much to my surprise, not only was my car a used car, which I didn't mind, but it was AS IS..NO WARRANTY.

After a being there a few hours, they wrote up some paperwork and told me I had to pay $1000.00 for my TT&L. I asked them why and they said it was because the finance company, which is actually a collection agency CONSUMER PORTFOLIO SERVICES would not add that to my contract. So over the course of 4 pay checks I came up with the money to get my TT&L which they had at the office already before had. I believe they just wanted more money out of me. This situation set me back to the point that I almost lost the car because I really couldn't afford the $1000.00, but struggled to come up with it and then had to manuver to pay the first car payment or I would lose the car.

I never received any of my paper work up front and was told it had to go to the finance company first and then they would send it to me. They never explained my terms with me when I asked them over and over on the day I got the car. They pretty much avoided that. Now I find out that my interest rate is 26.6% and if I am late with a payment this Colllection Agency compounds my interest on a daily basis.

The guy who was my original salesman just dissappeared once they got me into the contract and once I finally got my TT&L and they got the $1000, they were no longer in the business of being friendly with me.

Bottom line is Please DO NOT believe this advertisement, it is a big rip off. This program is not funded by the government and once you are at the dealership, they will try to squeeze you for more money.
