I had a new septic system installed by countryside on oct 27th, 2015. This system was recommended by the owner, Tom Oravsky and said there will be no issues with this type of in ground system. An estimate was given and job was completed. 2 weeks after the system being installed, I noticed by toilets were backing up. I called Mr. Oravsky and he advised me that the system he installed was never guaranteed and I would have to call an excavation company to have additional drainage done. Mr. Oravsky then recommended Frueh Excavation out of Glenmont, NY. Joel, one of the partners of Frueh came out and assessed the situation. His professional opinion was that additional drainage work would NOT solve the septic issue in his opinion, the type of septic Countryside installed was a poor choice and should have never been done. Therefore, he actually passed on the job and told me not to waste my money on drainage work I did not need since it wouldn't alleviate the failing septic. I've been in contact with Mr. Oravsky for the past few months and just recently he offered to try and grade my land at a cost of $500, half the price he would normally charge. After further review and having 3 other septic companies come out and look at the job, they also said the septic was USELESS and connected my old septic system for the time being since the new one actually was pitched TOWARDS my house....basically the septic is backflowing into the house. I asked what I can do to alleviate this problem and in their professional opinion....NOTHING. The sewage is not coming to the top of the land and posing a health issue for my children playing in the yard. The system should of never been installed and the way it was installed was poorly. It has been one month now that Mr. Oravsky has not returned my calls, emails, or texts. I have tried to contact his partner also and have received no return messages or phone calls.
