This woman is STILL pulling the same BYB (backyard breeder) crap. Getting unaltered/pregnant rescue dogs from Cali, breeding them, selling the puppies for exorbitant prices. I just got off the phone with a potential adopter who was totally put off by this woman, googled the "rescue's" name and this post from Valhalla came up from 2012. She has since deleted all her old pages but still uses the SAME email address.
It is very easy to Google the name of the director (MELANI KEEL) and see her involvement with this commercial breeding facility. It was exposed quite some time ago that she was collecting pregnant dogs from California using the name of this rescue. She is still actively using this name to sell dogs.
Rescues DO NOT BREED NOR SELL OR GIVE TO BREEDERS. Rescue are desperately trying to save the lives of innocent dogs discarded by irresponsible owners & breeders. THOUSANDS are put to death daily. Rescues never release dogs unless altered or charging $75 refundable when proved altered. Cornucopia doesn't care about the fee when they are selling the dogs for HUNDREDS of dollars. Rescue adopt out for fees that cover the pulling of the animal, the vetting & micro chipping required. RescueS are NON PROFIT!!
