I had a an Central air unit put in by Cool-Air Designs in 2014. During my warranty I had called several times to let them know that portions of the house were way too hot in the summer & unliveable in the winter. After several phone calls Al (I'm in a meeting) Falcone begrudgingly sent one of his workers over to my house. Upon arrival, they tried to sell me one of their additional services, telling me I simply needed extra Freon for my brand new unit. Of course this cost me over $200 and of course this "Fresh shot of Freon" did absolutely nothing to help my situation.
After my one year warranty expired things got worse, my repeated phone calls went right to Al's voicemail which was constantly full. When he finally answered one of my many text messages, it was only to tell me that of course, he was in a meeting and that they would get to me sometime next week !!! Really ?? Next week ?? It's freezing out and I have no heat !! His answer ?? CALL ANOTHER CONTRACTOR !!
This is only the beginning - When Al's workers left my home they also left a two inch hole in the side of my house. Obviously, water got in behind the siding & caused significant rot behind the walls. During the only time one of his workers came back to my house he advised me "Yeah that was absolutely our error, call Al & he'll send us back out to take care of it." After 5 calls to Al "The Meeting" Falcone I finally gave up and had to bring in another contractor.
Ok so back to my heat - Thankfully, my oil burner company came out, went up into my attic & told me that after only two years the board on my central air unit went bad !! You'd think a stand up guy running a reputable company would stand behind his work and at least come out and replace it - I didn't care if I had to pay for it myself.
To my shock/dismay/disappointment, I was told that Al was too busy & that I had to find someone else to help me.
To say that this guy gives other contractors a bad name is an understatement. As a customer, I've never been treated so poorly in all my years owning a home.
Bottom line here is that while they may be completely capable of installing a central unit, once you are beyond your warranty you are completely irrelevant to Al Falcone - True story.
