I received a Garnishment from my Employer that indicated that I obviously owed money to someone... I called the lawyer's office that send those papers and found out that I supposedly had opened up a Credit card on 04/07/2008 and owed them $673.12. $336.38 post judgement interest $ 123.00 Court cost $ 138.60 additional post- judgement interest $ 1271.10 total. Garnishment $75 weekly out of my paycheck!!! My credit back then was so incredibly bad that no one was willing to take a chance on giving me a credit card... I worked hard to get where I am now, I just bought me my first car and now I have to deal with this...
