Norma is the office manager at Colorado Eye Center and a cruel woman. I am a single mother. I was told over the phone and when I checked in that the co-pay for a contact exam was $10. The doctor told me that my corneas were bruised and I had to return later to double check the contact prescription he gave me. As I left, they tried to collect $50. I asked for an explanation stating the names of the nicer ladies that had all told me $10.
After speaking with my insurance company I agreed to pay them the $50. However, Norma refused to allow me to finish my exam, refused to refund me and refused to give me a prescription. However, she was sure to bill my insurance company and eat up my benefits for the year. I begged and pleaded with her. I had my two young children with me. She knows I am a single mother. But she had no mercy at all. Every answer she had for me was arrogant and showed how much she enjoyed having power. Cruel, fiesty, unethical Norma. All I asked for was a refund or a prescription. There was no need to be so hateful! I would not recommend ever going to this place. The staff is extremely unprofessional!
