Codie (if that is his real name) bought a camera, an iPhone, and an Apple Watch from me on eBay with overnight shipping to Providence, Rhode Island. I was ecstatic that someone bought all 3 things I had listed, but I realize now that it was too good to be true. He opened a case with PayPal the day the packages arrived and said that he did not get the items he was supposed to. I attempted to call him, but found that the number he used went to a hospital in Rhode Island and they didn't know anyone by the name "Codie".
He stopped responding when I asked for photos of the items he says he received. Heck, he could even use the camera I sent him! After a few hours talking with PayPal on the phone, they told me there was nothing they could do and that he would be refunded in full. I just about cried. I don't know what else to do so I'm posting here to warn others about Codie. I see I'm not the only one he's scammed in the last few days as there is another post about him here too. I just wish I had known a week ago :-(
