I hired CLK builders to remodel my kitchen for 35K and 1.5 years later it is WORSE because of this incompentant boy named Chad Krezmien. After I signed the contract and gave him a down payment, he literally disappeared and didn't answer his phone for close to 1 week. I kept calling the office and speaking with his sister Casey Marmon who is completely useless in every sense of the work. She kept making silly excuses, like he got a flat tire, truck won't start, etc.. this went on for close to 1.5 years. This woman will tell you anything you want to hear and then do the complete opposite. Chad also passes himself off as a "General Contractor"which he is NOT. His daddy "Larry Krezmien" holds the license. Also, this "Boy" is what I call him because he is extremely immature and foolish and calls his sister and daddy for everything. At first impression everything appeared fine, but after I signed the contract he was like another person. He started giggling, making noises, clapping his hands, and making funny faces like a 5 yrs. old. Everytime I ask him a question about anything, that's how he behaved. On many occasions I would smell achohol and marijjuana on him (this may explain his behavior) and his so called crew which consisted of his father "Larry Krezmien" and one person who speaks no english. Larry is very ignorant, sloppy, and foul-mounthed as well. It is true, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. How Larry has a general contractors license if beyond me. He converses like he has a third grade education.
After close to 1.5 years of this fool delaying me with little progress made, he calls me to make an appointment to see me. All three of them (Chad, Casey, and Larry) came to my home bringing me a deluxe gift basket from Harry & David as part of their plan to deceive and scam me. They told me I had a severe termite problem that needed to be corrected immediately! He said all the wood in my kitchen needed to be replaced and that it's a heath issue etc.. I did not believe it, but he showed me an inspection report from a pest control company and a construction company that I recognized detailing everything. He told me if I went anywhere else to get it repaired, I would be charged upwards of 15k-25k and showed me the quotes. He said if the city were to see it this way, they would delay me and fine me. Said city would make me wait at least another year because nothing would pass inspection and I was in violation etc.. They promised me it would be done in the next week but needed 8,500. cash to move quickly to avoid the city codes. They had me so nervous and I just wanted him to be done and gone and I fell for it. After they got the money they are now competely ignoring all my calls. I got through one time and Casey acted like she didn't know me and hung up.
My caregiver later contacted her husband who had everything legally and properly inspected for me. He confirmed with me that there is NO terminite damage at ALL. After further investigation it was found to be fraudulent pest control reports and construction companies Chad had created to SCAM me!! There was only 1 piece of baseboard along the door that was dry rotted, needed to be replaced, and it was NOT even termite infected and certainly not an 8,500. job!
When I confronted Chad with the facts, he became extremely enraged and began swearing at me! He smelled of alcohol again, but this time he was clearly drunk with his eyes rolling around in his head and slurring his speech. All he could say was "you can't prove s**t lady, you can't prove s**t" using constant profanity towards me. He was so angry he was foaming at the mouth. I demanded he leave or I would call the police. I was shaking and crying so much and went to the bathroom. When I returned, the next thing I seen almost caused me to have a stroke and vomit. Chad had left out my back door and stopped next to my daughter who has down syndrome. She likes to sit on the patio and listen to her favorite music. I observed Chad EXPOSING himself to my 49 year old daughter trying to pull her head toward his p***s while she was sitting down. When I yelled at him, he tells me "she's likes me, I'm trying to piss". This was the most bizzare and evil experiences of my life!! How someone can be so sick and disgusting is mind-boggling and disturbing to say the least. Video surveillance is currently being investigated regarding this matter.
I'm an 80 year old woman on a fixed income with health problems. I don't have any immediate family, and now I have to sit further depressed with a kitchen that looks like a hurricane hit it, and deal with the actions of an incompetant pervert who ripped me off. People please investigate and research all contractors and call any referals. Ask questions, read reviews, ask your neighbors, check to see if they are BBB accredited. Unfortunately I am not computer literate and they knew this and took full advantage of me. I believe Chad, Casey, and Larry target the elderly.
For anyone who is reading this please know, con artists/scammers are everywhere and can produce fraudulent documents for anything to deceive you. Chad, Casey, and Larry, there is a God up above and your day will come.
