I took one of their online courses and found it to be useless for my resume. the 4 weeks is basic entry training which is meaningless on the resume according to my recruiter. I would not suggest this course as an option.
I spoke with two people at the Fastrack program. This is not an accredited program, only licensed. Students spend a total of four weeks in training (8 days in a classroom and the rest is online learning). I was not confident four weeks would give the required knowledge to get hired. They claim to have connections at companies throughout the US, but when I talked with one of their employees, that person was unaware of some of the companies in my area that conduct trials. I was told students with degrees in clinical trial research were not getting jobs. If that is true, what will a four-week program do for someone that only provides a certificate from an unaccredited program?
The class is a joke and a waste of $10K. Out of 22 students in my class, 4 people have jobs in the field. 2 of those people already had jobs at clinical sites and were sent to the class by their employers. The other 2 had been through medical school and could not get residency for whatever reason. I took a loan out through Paramount Capital in order to go through this program, because I was told 90% of students who took the class were hired in the clinical research field. It’s so not true. Now I’m out $10K for trying to better my future and all I’m faced with is a $300 monthly payment I can’t afford and Paramount Capital threatening to ruin my credit over it. This program is no respected in the Clinical Research field and it will not help you get into the industry, regardless of what the people who work for Clinical Research Fastrack tell you.
