Dr. X wrote an order on his prescription pad for 3T MRI about May 15, 2016.I called City of Hope MRI and, as instructed, faxed the request. An appointment was made for May 23, 2016. Two or three days before the appointment, I was called and told they did not have the order. I faxed it again.
The study was performed on May 23, 2016. Today, June 8, I called Dr. X's office for the tenth time and was put on hold to see if there was any mail for Dr. X from COH.
Yes there was. Dr.X was out. I will find out tomorrow if Dr. X received the CD of the MRI and the report. I received the CD today. Fifteen days. Taking 15 days to send a report to an outside physician is deplorable. It could represent malpractice.
