I retained Ms. Lanier to handle a divorce. Upon retaining her for an immediate filing she began to ignore my petition. After 6 months she still had not filed my divorce. She finally filed me in respondent status after my ex filed. This was the beginning of promises and failures. She claims to use new age voodoo to gain an advantage in divorce proceedings. After the VooDoo was done, she had stuck me with an outragious support payment, 15k in her fees, and then refused to represent me if I did not pony up another 4k. Stay away from this miserable excuse for an attorney. She threw me under the bus that she was driving.
Cherisse pursued me as a client calling numerous times. Like a salesperson. I met with her felt uneasy and gave her 50 dollars to leave me alone. I had no plans to use her but she was willing do contingency. The end result she misrepresented to me what she was doing .she was representing 2 other family members and took my discovory claimed a break in and used it on their cases and she eliminated me from trust contest having me sign conflict waiver.
Dont use her unless you want be lied to scammed on and your settlement stolen by her and her attorney cohorts she worked with. She bungled my case from start missing deadlines. Not filing. The settlement she got i already had when i went to her. I managed to work out a 40k offer and i never saw it materialize only a sham trial that was a joke.
The other parties were laughing. She told me i had nothing to lose but i lost alot and she i presume split up my lost settlement with BYRON Dannel and Doria Gualua Thomas. These attorneys should be reported to Bar for Malpractice. Or at least sanctioned.
