Charles Thomas Hill and Jim Harris are scumbags that operate from the middle Tennessee area. For over 15 years ( to my knowledge) they have been SCAMMING people out of money using fictious business/investment opportunities. They operate together under a business named 'Lighthouse Global Investments' in or around Nashville Tennessee. They are not licensed finacial brokers and their business model is to take money from indivuals under false pretenses and illegal wire transfers. Charles and Jim are very crafty and can look anyone in the eye and lie to them. I was fortunate not to have invested my own money with these two, but know them both personally through legitimate Nashville business associates. I was approached by them many times to invest money into scams that were touted to bring in huge returns. There have literally been hundreds of individuals that have been stolen from by one or both of these crooks. I personally know dozens of individuals that gave these guys their life-savings and were left broke.
Charles Hill in particular makes deals with 'investors' that appear to be legitimate that turn out to be completely illegal deals that result in lawsuits, judgements, and bancruptsy. Charles Hill has filed for bancruptcy dozens of times after investors have taken him to court or to the officials. The SEC and Feds need to investigate these two for their illegal money laundering scheme.

In 2004 my husband moved into a neighborhood across the street from Charles. He befriended myself and my husband. He made us aware of a business adventure he was persuing that was guaranteed to make millions of dollars. The project was called Deep Blue. He encouraged my husband to invest in this business venture that he promised was going to rock the medical world. My husband not only invested large amounts of money, but quit his job and went to work for Charles.
The business venture was a total sham and we almost lost everything we had. Charles tries to appear to be the big business man who thinks he is smarter, more qualifed, and special. When pushed to provide re-payment, he is consistently awaiting a "big deal" to close. He will promise it is only a matter of time. Do not believe this. He is nothing other than a modern day snake oil salesman out to take your hard earned money that he is unwilling to work for legally.
He has a pattern of filing bankruptcy after his delusions of big business deals never pan out. He is a very deranged man who even believes his own lies. He has destroyed his life and family. Do not let yourself be his next victim.
Charlie Hill worked very hard to charm me and gain my trust. Looking back, I should have seen the amwarning signs. I had several people who knew him warn me not to get involved with him. I didn’t listen because I liked him. When I gave him pretty much everything that I had to help him wrap up a major deal, I was promised a massive return for helping him. Every week I’d get the same answer that things were going really well but that the big payday was still a few weeks away. Weeks turned to months, months turned to years and then he decided to distance himself from me. He left his wife and began dating right away. He became very involved with someone and I remember him telling me that she was wealthy and had connections that would help him. I saw him out at an expensive restaurant and was hoping for an apology and a promise to pay me back, but he acted like he didn’t even see me. He lied to this woman about his wife (he was still very married) and I wanted to warn her to run! At the time Charlie kept two cell phones and he was always on them talking with people about huge money making opportunities. It amazes me that so many people that I’ve met have given him money and not a single one of them has ever been repaid. It’s difficult to keep all of his deals, lies and promises straight. He thinks that he is smart but I’ve learned that he’s just a really talented liar. If this man tries to get to know you, run. Get out of there. He only wants your money. Just a cold delivery of a bankruptcy notice warning me that I could be arrested if I even attempt to speak with him about what he owes me.
