Sales guy calls and states that they want to buy back my vehicle and will get you a vehicle of your choosing for the same payment or better. With NO money down or out of pocket So I tell them what I am interested in and right of the way he demands nearly 5k as a down payment. I said no that is not what you initially stated to me. Well then you can't afford our vehicles. I explain that I can however you just lost my business for lying to me.
I bought a ford f150 fx2 truck from chapman ford on the 6th of May. I bought the vehicle without taking it for a test drive. I knew the truck I wanted and they had it on the lot. I was told there was 51,000 miles on the vehicle. I drove off on a Friday night in my new used vehicle and realized that there was over 57,000 miles on the vehicle. Almost a $1000.00 difference on the KBB. I told them they had lied about the mileage and was told by the salesmen that they would refund me $900 on my purchase. At first I was happy with that but it has been just shy of a month and they still will not cut me my check. I have been told by the saleperson 3 different times that i can get the check tomorrow and tomorrow does not seem to come. 4 days after driving the vehicle my truck over heated on the side of the road.
I was told that they would pay my other vehicle off in 10 days and guess what alost a month later I get a call from US bank saying why did you not make your payment. I said wait a second they said it would be paid off weeks ago. As of today I am now making paymnets on the car I traded in and the one they sold me. These guys will say anything to pacify you yet there actions are seemingly non existant. I would warn anyone thinking of buying a car here to not do it. Odd how a multi million dollar company cant process a 900 check or give me a real odometer reading. They signed the secure odometer disclosure with the wrong mileage. A car is a major purchase and I am now of the opinion that these people can not be trusted.
