Channing Armstrong of Grimesland NC advertised mammoth donkeys for sale, I made a deal to buy 5 of the donkeys and told him I only buy mammoths. I ask Channing Armstrong for the heights of each donkey and he gave me heights from 54" to 57". I paid him $3,000 for the donkeys, $100 extra because he told me the mileage was almost a 100 miles further that hecestion shipping, which was a lie, it was 70 miles closer than original shipping address. I have health issues that Channing Armstrong knew about through our conversat and I was not able to meet the transporter. Four days later I had the donkeys transported to my place and
was in total shock when I saw them. The donkeys were standard donkeys ranging in heights from 46" to 53" not 54" to 57" as we agreed on. All donkeys but one had hoof issues, all were worm infested, three had mites and 3 had skin issues. I immediately text Channing Armstrong and told him I wanted my money back because he sent me standard donkeys and not mammoths as we agreed on.
I was refused my money and was told it sounded like I had buyers remorse. I offered to transport the donkeys back to NC , he did not respond. I posted his original ad back on Craigslist and let people know he scammed me, he threatened to
sue me if I did not delete my posting because his daughters picture was on his original posting but I had already deleted it before he made his threat. I tried numerous times over several weeks to get him to refund my money, he refused. I have all correspondence between Channing Armstrong and myself, Channing Armstrong is a liar and a scammer, my proof of this is in our correspondence. I had a friend send him $2,000 by PayPal and $1,100 upon delivery per his requeste, there is no recourse thru PayPal. Sent to Channing Armstrong after he made his threat--Mr Armstrong, I deleted my postings this morning not because of a
threat from you, it was deleted before your text telling me to do so. As a parent your ad with your daughters picture should not have been exposed on the internet. Your posting also gave a phone number and your location in your posting and you were not hesitant to give out your street address when ask. I apologize for the reposting and meant your daughter no harm and would never harm a child, I admire your daughter for her love of animals and the activities she is involved in and wish more children would follow in her direction. You scammed me and are looking for any excuse to get out of the reimbursement of my $3,552, I gave you a
chance to refund my money and you refused, you deliberately lied to me for monetary reasons, you knew my funds were very limited and my health was bad and you saw a opportunity to get ride of standard donkeys as mammoths. I also see where you deleted your posting with your daughters picture on it. I could have posted the pictures you sent me of your daughter but I chose not to do so. Channing Armstrongs last contact with me--I truly did not mean to mislead you. I wish you had been available at time of delivery so there would not have been any issues. It truly does bother me that you are not completely satisfied with the purchase. My
family has been extremely sick with the flu. The weekend after the delivery my daughter was running a high fever for days. It spiked at 104.1 Now her mother and I have it. I'm sorry for this morning but kids at school can be very hurtful and call her names that would cause her problems. Let me get over the flu and we can talk again about how we can resolve our differences without being mean to each other. I'm sorry for your health problems also. My last text to Channing Armstrong after he lied about resolving misrepresenting of the donkeys--Mr Armstrong it is obvious you are a swindler and liar and have proven this again by your last text apologizing to me and saying you wanted to work things out without being hateful. It is obvious your intentions were to defraud me in regards to the donkeys and even a hint of blackmail in your threat. The donkeys you sent are costing me money to feed and Dr. You not only sent me donkeys that you lied about
their breed and heights, you also sent donkeys with health issues also one is over 20 years old and his health papers says 2 years old. I bought your donkeys in good faith because you advertised as mammoths and you Mr Armstrong assured me they were all mammoths. I told you I only buy mammoths and ask you for their heights, I ask for heights for a reason and it was to verify breed. You Mr Armstrong sold me standard donkeys and knew they were standards because you are a equine owner and without question know how to measure all equine and can look at equine. I have $730 each invested in standard donkeys that I bought from you in
good faith which you deliberately lied and swindle me. You saw a chance to swindle someone elderly and with health issues and you have no remorse over doing so. You thought your threat of a lawsuit toward me would let you getaway with swindling me out of $3,000 plus $100 for a deliberate lie over mileage which was very obvious and $552 for a vet bill. The local news networks in your area ask if I will send them all communications between you and I, plus your original Craigslist posting, I am asking once more for the return of my $3,652 and you come get the donkeys, I am not out to embarrass your family over your scam against
me nor am I wanting anything other than what I bought and paid for, and I did not agree to buy standard donkeys from you because they are free in my area and I have standard donkeys.
