Cash store on gull rd. Dont go. I was their first customer years go and do a lot of services, or I did. All along if I was to be late a day or two no problem, they new I would be their. Now I go to pay and take a bigger loan and when I got there they said they sent my check back to the bank, REALLY. Said it was do on the 29th. I said what changed. I came and got the loan same time as I normally do. I was thinking I was paying a day early do to I wasn't suppose to pay until the 3rd when I got paid. They say oh well you was suppose to come it and sign a waiver. Never before did I have to. Now instead of it costing me $115 now it cost me $160. NO FUC*ING WAY. Be told one thing and get screwed!!!!!
I borrowed $300 for 1 month, paid every 2 weeks and had to pay interest $185. This is worse than loan sharking, I went to another payday loan and took out $400 and paid $18525 for 6 months. Look at the difference, the Cash Stores needs to be investigated
It was my last payment (last day to pay or get penalized) for my $300 loan,where I paid $116 x 6 payments. First the doors are locked so seeing the mgr. seeing me, I tried 3x to open the door(her looking at me) then I knocked on the door after 3x..she finally let me in shouting at me saying "Don't you ever knock on the door like that. I said ..came to make a payment...she kept on.. I just walked out and headed for another of their stores. The next stores computer was down so I asked if I could pay online, they said sorry..no..so I gave her my debit card and they couldn't take my card ..it had a chip so they can't accommodate me. Had to go to my bank get cash and come back to them, I had other business to take care of, so all took about 1/12 hrs.Sky high interest rates, with give a crap customer service, I'm not going back to them, good luck if you have to.Houston,Texas.
I am a single mom of a six year old with severe hearing loss. I told cash store I will behind on a payment due to having to purchase his hearing aids they hit me with so much I was unable to catch up after rent n hearing aids. They called my job none stop. Now they are sending collection notice from cottonwood financial stating they want 1300 but will settle for 800 I was paying well over that amount but due to the high interest it never went toward the principle now I'm fairing they will garnish my wages. Which I can not afford I need someone's help please
