I sadly purchased this warranty from a dealership. I have had to pay for my last 2 repairs due to the company delaying in calling back auto shop. I need my vehicle to make a living and I can not wait 3-5 days for them to decide what may or may not be covered. Asked for a refund but was told that I could not get one due to it being 20 days after signing up for warranty. Sadly it was not disclosed to me that I even had this option till I finally inquired about a refund of some sort on my 5 year policy I got scammed into.

I purchased an UNLIMITED warranty from this company. There is a clause in their fine print that states the warranty is voided if the odometer is inoperable. My transmission needed repaired so to comply with CARS they ran a milage comparison with the odometer and PCM and CARS voided my warranty because they said that at some point the odometer had become inoperable. This was not the case as long as I had the vehicle. They kept my vehicle in limbo for over a month to decide this. The representative would have trouble getting back to the service writer for some reason. Now I am responsible for all the cost involved in repairing my vehicle. Needless to say, the dealership that I purchased my car from NO LONGER sells these warranties.

I have not had any positive experiance so far with this company. Ive had customer service issues ever since the beginning.Last year. while on vacation 1500 miles from home, I needed my vehicle fixed. Cars agreed to pay for the repair. On my contract it says if something on the list is broke, I pay $100 deductable to get it fixed. My bill was for over $200! They refused to pay for the whole bill. They also wanted to use a junkyard hub! After arguing and even the garage tried helping, I ended up paying the entire amount myself! I was told I would be getting reimbursed for the small amount they agreed to pay. I never recieved a penny.

Now I need more repairs,a year later, the parts are on the list,and Cars once again agreed to pay. Suprise, they will only pay for half the bill! Over 400$ this time. The garage was completely shocked. He said he's never had this problem with other warranty companies. He also said they were very unpleasant to deal with! Very unprofessional. I tried calling Cars, and it was very unpleasant. They told me it was a misunderstanding, and the garage wanted to buy better parts,and they won't cover that. So I asked where do I bring my vehicle to get it fixed for the $100, he said he didnt know. That its up to me, and why should he know. I then talked to the garage about the overpriced parts, he ordered the cheapest ones. Im just hoping these extra cheap parts hold up while I'm towing my RV across the country next month!

But my car is sitting at the repair shop while they wait for the parts...also they don't pay the sales tax on the parts??? this is a shady company buyer beware

My transmission went bad in my car... Ok I have a warranty that covers the power train, I thought, I call the warranty company they told me to take my car to AAmaco, ok, then they tell me I have to pay for the diagnostics, meaning tear down of my vehicle to see what the probleem is... ($600.00) ok then I need a transmission... they only pay part of the money for the part, not including sales tax??? Whator they are not paying for filters or seals... this company is a rip off, my car has ben sitting in the repair shop for 8 days, they tell me they will only cover 8.8hr of rental coverage which is 25.00.

I bought a car in September that was a used 2001 Jeep. My first repair involved replacing the front axles on the car. They said it wasn't covered. My next repair was due to the blower motor and computer problem causing the transmission light to be on. Neither were covered according to them I called and asked for them to cancel since I paid for four years. They told me I couldn't cancel. I plan to see an attorney over this!

Purchased a warranty from them based on a suggestion from the car dealership. What a mistake. Knew something was up when I never received the warranty card and had to call to get one. This company closed a claim after 30 days when they never heard back from my mechanic AFTER they lied to them and said the car is under recall for the trans by ACURA. They said they would not cover a pre existing issue. So why would they hear back from my mechanic? After contacting ACURA and finding out the car was not under recall it was just a service notice they issued and contacting this trash company the warranty expired! Contacted the dealer for their help and that was useless because CPP said my warranty had expired by a four weeks and they could not help becasue they closed the claim after not hearing back from the mechanic when they told him they would not pay a claim because of the recall.....LOL So why would he call back before he found out the truth from ACURA?

I posted on their facebook page and they sent me a message to contact them to see what they could do to help. I called and spoke with "Kayla" she said they could not help and "the people that respond on Facebook for the company are not really employees". This company is by far the worst of the worst, they give good auto warranty companies a bad rap. Under no circumstances should you do any type of business with CARS PROTECTION PLUS. You have been warned.
