Unfortunately, I got hooked in too by their cute vintag-y dress they had advertised on Facebook. I know better but I went ahead and ordered the dress without checking any reviews. My stupid MISTAKE!! $52 and 8 weeks later, I received a dress that looked nothing like what was pictured. It was a cheap knock-off made in China, like something I would have found at a garage sale with a $1.00 sticker on it. Not kidding. The one positive I can say is that my money was refunded pronto once I contacted them/sent a picture of what I received AND they didn't even ask for the dress back?...which I thought was crazy. I guess they didn't want it either lol. After the fact, I started checking out reviews and on the Better Business Bureau website (a legit site for complaints against companies). I see they have a grade F rating with multiple negative reviews and over 40 formal complaints filed against them. Stay away and save your money!!!
Burlap is made up of absolute hucksters, scammers and liars. I have yet to see a positive review of ANY of their clothing, much less their service. I made the mistake of ordering for them and 8 weeks later when my merchandise hadn't arrived, I got some baloney about "Oh, your order was lost in transit." I got a refund and now any time they pop up on my FB feed, I make sure to caution people to read the online reviews first. Oh, and Burlap is all "We're experiencing a high volume of e-mails right now." Yeah, NEGATIVE e-mails from people asking where their stuff is or complaining about how horrible and cheap it is.
Burlap Apparel advertises endlessly on Facebook. Ads contain beautiful photos of clothing that in no way depict the acutal products they sell! This company accesses VERY CHEAP clothing items from Asia (most are mailed directly from Asia) which are of the lowest quailty imaginable. I ordered a dress for $28 using my credit card, got no confirmation email as stated on the site I ordered from and recieved the joke of a piece of material about ten weeks later. On the ordering site, of course, the buyer is promised a prompt refund if not completely satisfied with the item purchased. No luck there; the email address posted goes nowhere. There is no packing slip or invoice with the item so no way to track these theives down! DO NOT ORDER FROM BUPLAP APPAREL! This company and site are a TOTAL RIPOFF!
The sweater I ordered in no way resembles the sweater pictured on the internet. It was supposed to be oversized, it is not and would probably fit a child. They provide an email address for returns and replacements but the link does not work and there is no phone number provided. I just got scammed!!!

Well this is absolutely false! i have emailed them 7 times. They first responded and asked me for a picture of the item and how i would like to continue: exchange it for another of the saem item, different size etc. I emailed them right back with a phot and told them i would like a refund. It took them a week to get back to me and then they asked again the same questions so i email back again and told them this is the second time i was answering the same questions. And its been radio silence ever since. I even emailed them and told them if i did not hear back from they within a week that i would fill out a outscam and find them everywhere on the internet and make sure everyone knows they do not represent themselves honestly. I called my bank and got the charge reversed so i am covered thank god!
