BUYER BEWARE - Company Sells Used, Defective & Open Box Product

Our company ordered a gun stock from this company based on their advertised price saving us approx. $30 from other notable online distributors for the product (Pro Mag - Archangel gun stock product). We placed the order in a time frame allowing a full week for delivery so we could complete our build by the weekend scheduled for our customer's event.

When we received the product it came in a very old and weathered and OPEN clam shell package that was tinged yellow with age, covered in dust and the UPC code was worn and faded. When we inspected the product it clearly showed signs of wear and prior use and all the required hardware for the product was missing. The company basically sent us a used item KNOWINGLY. There is no way you could not tell the product was an open package and that the item was used - just seeing it in the old opened and tattered packaging was enough indication when their staff boxed it it for shipping - they knew this item was not a new retail product.

When we called to get the situation immediately corrected we instantly got a HUGE run-around and it took 3 calls in to finally speak to someone who said they would TRY and help us but was told the management parties responsible for approving returns and replacements was located in another state and that their hands were tied until someone in upper management would be willing to approve the return and shipping. We requested a BRAND NEW retail product be sent to us immediately so that we could complete our build in time and based on the time frame this required the item to NOW be sent 2nd day air.

We called again early the next morning to inform them that we sent back the USED item they sent us via UPS that day at 9:00am EST and we provided the UPS tracking number for them. We were informed that the item was setup to be replaced but had still not been approved by upper management as well as the request for 2day shipping as that the customer support staff was not authorized to approve shipping nor returns of any kind! They would NOT provide any contact information to anyone in "upper management" nor were any names of these people provided. Later that day a rep from the company did call to say the return replacement would be shipped out.

When we finally received the replacement item to our surprise once again the item arrived in another old and open clam shell package with no parts kit, no hardware, no anything required for the item and leaving us stuck with another defective gun stock and our money COMPLETED WASTED!

This company not only has a very flawed and non-customer focused set of policies but it also has no regard for the inconvenience they infringe on their customers yet alone their gall to send used, damaged, or open box products to customers without indicating such on their product descriptions or in advertising. We highly recommend that anyone thinking of doing business with this company should look elsewhere and STAY AWAY from them or risk being scammed and cheated.

We have yet to resolve the issue and because of their negligence and failure to perform and deliver a NEW retail product as advertised it has now cost us MANY times over what the original product cost was.

BUYER BEWARE - stick with reputable distributors if you want real products and service - this company is a sham.

When I mistakenly ordered 2 pcs instead of 1 of a holster I then had to deal with what I found was a non customer friendly set of policies that will make me reluctant to do business with them again. First I was directed by the invoice to a non toll free # to call for an RMA# which then told me to leave a message and they would call back. Not being willing to accept this attempt to blow me off I called their 800 order placement # and was told there would be a 10% restocking charge! and I could only use there label and have a shipping charge also deducted from my refund that was higher than the charge for their sending it to me and oh by the way I see here that items not returnable. When I blew my stack a supervisor was contacted and it bcame OK to return it. The 3X attempts to shave Nickels and dimes off of me tells me I don't ever want to get invoved with a more serious return matter. In my view their a cheap sharpie outfit better avoided.

Bullets.com is a division of Grizzly Industrial. Bullets.com on 8/23 advertised Federal 22 lr ammo @ $20.95, I ordered 3 boxes plus shipping, total came to $72.80. I accepted the terms of the contact and in fact purchased the items. I received order confirmation which states” Please retain this email as your proof of purchase.” The next day I opened my email and received notice of cancellation stating there was no inventory and no back orders were allowed. I did not order a back order item, I ordered an item that was in stock per their website. I even stayed on the website, as i calling some other folks I know. This offer was still active and on line some 20 minutes after I placed my order. I immediately contacted Customer Service, no one had authority to resolve, refused to provide contact info. I emailed Bullets.com 2x without resolution. They told me to place a new order for another item, which was of course more money. This is a simple bait and switch racket. I requested that they kindly provide me with an equivalent product @ the same price I paid for the Items ordered. They refused. They stated that there system is slow and merchandise is sold out but still listed as available. I am not responsible for their systems. Selling bullets is their business, and it is totally unacceptable that these situations continue to be advertising issues where you do not fulfill orders at the price advertised. I had the same poor experience with this company a year ago...so you have not corrected or changed this deceptive practice. i am a senior on a fixed income living in Florida. I do not appreciate being bilked and being taken advantage of.

Bullets.com’s defense is “Since you were never charged for this item, management has decided it is not practical for us to provide you any discounts on other products. This item was never actually purchased by you (a purchase is not complete until payment has been taken from your account) and as such, you are not eligible for any form of compensation.” Selling bullets is there business, and it is totally unacceptable that these situations continue to be advertising issues where you do not fulfill orders at the price advertised. I had the same poor experience with your company a year ago...so you have not corrected or changed this deceptive practice. Kindly get me the items ordered at the agreed upon price as advertised.

Claim filed against Bullets.com with the BBB. As documented on this site, Bullets.com has been ripping off customers for over a year using the same deceptive tactics. They lied on there responce to the BBB that they fixed the problem.
