Brooks Motor Company Reviews

THE REPLACED MY TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE THAT WENT OUT DUE TO WATER FROM THE RADIATOR GETTING INTO THE TRANSMISSION . THEY SENT ME HOME WITH IT SAYING IT WAS GOOD. THEN COOLANT OF COURSE GOT INTO IT AGAIN BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T BOTHER TO CHECK TO SEE IF THIS WAS THE PROBLEM, EVEN THOUGH THE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT HE HAD OTHER NISSANS IN WITH THIS PROBLEM. THEY ALSO NEVER ANALYZED THE FLUID WHEN THEY PUT THE TCM IN. THEY TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR IGNORANCE. WHEN I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THEM THEY STILL COULDN'T FIGURE OUT THAT THERE WAS COOLANT IN MY TRANSMISSION. AFTER TAKING IT TO A REPUTABLE SHOP I WAS TOLD THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN FROM THE START WHAT WAS WRONG. AND THE MANAGER STILL NOT FIGURING IT OUT WHEN I BROUGHT IT BACK IS TELLING ME THAT HE KNOWS ABOUT THESE PROBLEMS ON THESE CARS. HE WAS ALL OVER THE INTERNET THAT DAY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT SOMETHING HE ALREADY KNOWS, AND STILL NOT KNOWING WHAT WAS WRONG? B.S. I LEFT HIS SHOP THAT DAY WITH HIM NOT KNOWING WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY CAR. IF HE KNEW THEN WHY WAS HE LOOKING UP THE CODES ON THE INTERNET? AND IF HE LOOKED UP THE CODES HE WOULD EASILY FIGURE IT OUT. HE DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. HE RIPPED ME OFF FOR OVER $1,700 AND NOW A NEW TRANSMISSION IS GOING TO COST OVER $5000! NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!

This is the worst, most uneducated place you could ever go. they said that i needed a new tcm in my transmission. Nissan Pathfinder is notorious for the coolent from the radiator getting into the transmission. They put in the TCM in my car for $1700 just for it to go out again for the same reasons. I took the car back to them and they still couldnt figure out the problem. I took the car to a reputable company where the instantly knew the problem. They told me that BROOKS should have found the obvious problem on both occations. when i called the MGR at BROOKS he said that it wasn't his fault, and that they have dealt with this problem on other Nissans. If this is true then why didn't he find the problem when i brought it back. He even said it was going to take some research to figure it out. Imagin that "researching something that you already know" B.S.! This happened because they have no clue what they are doing.
