My business fell victim to brett weaks emerald screens scam. Sounded legit. Sent me advertisement proofs. All businesses in my area who paid in, lost all that money.
Our company, a small and local HVAC business signed up with Emerald Screens to be featured at a local brewery. We paid almost $800 and now the company is dissolved. Our attorney found several complaints against him personally and Emerald Screens with WA state's attorney. We will be suing him to the fullest extent of the law and have filed a police report for theft.
Brett closed down Emerald Screens, refused to pay his employees when he did, and threatened to sue his former employees when they filed with the state to try and get their back wages. He stole Emerald Screens from his then business partner, falsified his accounting records to make it look like the money that he stole from the company was stolen by his then partner, removed access of his then business partner to all company assets, filed a false police report, and physically threatened at least one employee.

After further information has come to light, I was completely wrong about Brett. It was his then business partner, Julie Goss aka Julie McCrary, who told all of us working at Emerald that he did all of this. However, it has become clear now, that it was all a lie. Julie was the person who actually did everything she blamed Brett for! It probably should've been a clue to me earlier, that Julie had prior felony convictions for theft and fraud, and Brett was a graduate from police academy.
So now that things are clear, I'd like to retract my previous remarks about Brett. He was the person who actually tried to help Emerald out, while his then business partner, Julie, continued to steal from him while slandering him without remorse.
Brett, I apologize for my earlier remarks. Julie should be in prison.
I was contacted by multiple respresentatives through Emerald Screens to purchase advertising space on television screens at 2 locations local to my business in South Carolina. Shortly after paying for the services all communication channels with the company were shut down and no contact was available.
Upon contacting the businesses where the advertising was supposed to be displayed, I was informed that the businesses had no television advertising and did not work with Emerald Screens or any of their affiliated companies either.
