Hi folks, i am the ceo of bedjet. We had the top ten most succesfull kickstarter tech. Projects of 2015, the bedjet climate comfort system for beds -- a $1.3 million dollar crowdfunding campaign to help launch our product. After being contacted by brainiances from mars during our campaign, we utilized them for our pr efforts on this kickstarter project. We paid them the over $7000 for their maximum level of pr support.

While they did deliver some very basic pr services and managed to get us 1 decent piece of coverage, we found them to have overpromised and under delivered. Their process is to come up with an email blast and just blast it out a couple of times. Basically we could have done far better on our own I have done this pr work myself in the past) and the money was not well spent. We chalked this up to a live and learn about a less than stellar service provider.

Primarily the rsason i'm filing this on brainiacs from mars is that they are utliizing bedjet and my own name front and center on their website to capture new clients. Brainiacs is advertising that they are responsible for the success of our bedjet kickstarter campaign, falsely claiming credit for bedjet achieving a $1.3 million dollar success on kickstarter, as if they carried us there.

Here's the real record -- their pr efforts were responsible for a measly $13,000 in campaign pledges out of our $1.3 million. The rest of it we did on our own. We have tight analytics on this. Hardly a success on their part and we lost money using them. I consider their advertising of bedjet as one of their "flagship" clients and their claiming being responsible for our success on kickstarter as completely and utterly fraudulent. They are using our name to help close clients and the reality is we would never use them again.

If you are a kickstarter creator considering using them -- please stay away, your money is better spent elsewhere.

I have contacted david lee from brainiacs from mars and offered him the option to remove any mention of bedjet from his advertising, from their website and from his sales pitches to kickstarter creators. Unfortunatley he did not comply and we continue to get contaced by sad kickstarter creators who after spending their hard earned cash there, wondered why they weren't getting a succesull result.

Because david lee of brainiacs from mars would not comply with our request to stop fraudulently claiming credit for the success of our bedjet kickstarter campaign, i'm posting this note to all kickstarter creators -- we would not use them again. You can feel free to contact us about this matter at our website at bedjet.com.

fraud

brainiacs from mars is a fraud company. they bring zero results.

They don't have any management team photo on linkedin, they address in the website is that of a supermarket. Their "team members" are not on social or have a face.

A complete fraud. google "brainiacs from mars fraud" and you'll see

I'm not alone... Now I'll will fight them forever, But I'm sure they will change their name and return.

Brainiacs from Mars delivered a big fat zero.

Kickstarters, beware of the hoard of would-be marketers who come at you from every angle one your Kickstarter begins. Most of these players will fill your ears with empty promises and deliver nothing.

This is the experience we had with Brainics from Mars. Just after our Kickstarter began, they were quick to contact us. We had heard from many similar marketing voices and ignored them. But Brainics seemed to do their homework. We bought in at the price of $600. The deal was for them to use their "amazing" PR contacts to bring eyes onto our Kickstarter board game project.

The date of their press release came and past. On that day, we actually had backers drop out of the Kickstarter (this, of course, wasn't Brianiacs from Mars's fault. Backers usually come and go throughout the Kickstarter).

We received no report of where Brainiacs from Mars had landed our pitch. Their services did absolutely nothing for us. They were, of course, happy to take our money and run.

My advice: when Brainiacs from Mars comes out of the woodwork asking for your money, send them packing. You are better off setting your $600 on fire.

Brainiacs From Mars, aka Fundzinger is back at scamming crowdfunders again! Brainiacs uses different names, such as Fundzinger.com to steal thousands of dollars from crowdfunders launching their crowdfunding projects on Indiegogo and Kickstarter. They promise crowdfunders the world and then give ZERO RESULTS!

Brainiacsfrommars.com contacted me recently about promoting my project. The funny thing is, I was already contacted by them 6 months ago with my last crowdfunding project they worked on! And guess what? They used to call themselves Fundzinger, but they got so many bad reviews from crowdfunders exposing this PR scam that they changed their name to Brianiacs From Mars.

Its the same old scam, just a different name. Now their old website Fundzinger.com forwards over to their new scam website brainiacsfrommars.com. What a surprise. They now have a one star ranking on Yelp from crowdfunders who literally lost thousands of dollars to the crowdfunding scammers.

Obviously these slim balls did not even check my new project, they just contacted me again with the same old sleezy sales pitch! If they actually looked at my crowdfunding project instead of just spamming it, they would have noticed I already got scammed by Fundzinger less than a year ago! They prey on all the new projects that haven't been burned yet from their first PR scam (fundzinger.com) and just spam with their new scam (brianiacsfrommars.com). New name, same scam.

My first experience with Nick Taylor at brianiacs was enough for me! I let them know my two cents in the crowdfunding forums. That btw, is a great place to read up on crowdfunding marketing services. Other crowdfunders share their experiences so you know who to trust. Also, always google the crowdfund promotion service name and see what comes up. Anyways, I thought that was the end. But they have the audacity to keep their scam going and message my project AGAIN!

They also claim to offer a percentage of the funds raised. WRONG. They actually try to take a large fee up front before they start anything. They make you give them your credit card and charge you for whatever they can. I read on yelp that they charged some guy $7500 dollars in total!! When he tried to get his money back they refused. Luckily I called my bank and told them what I was dealing with here. They saw Fundzinger and Brainiacs was a known scam and put a hold on my card for me. What a nightmare. And now when they messaged my project again trying to scam me NO WAY this is ridiculous.

Stay far away from this shady "Nicholas Taylor" character and his numerous crowdfunding PR scams. They prey on crowdfunders launching projects on kickstarter, indiegogo, and gofundme. Yelp, the BBB, and others are already aware of the scam and I'm sure they will be shut down sometime this year. If any crowdfunding PR agency contacts you using the names: fundzinger, Brianiacs From Mars, Nick Taylor, Brainiacsfrommars.com, ect.. then STAY AWAY!

I have already reported brainiacs from mars to Kickstarter and Indiegogo so they can warm other crowdfunders about this scam. I suspect that they will keep spamming and calling crowdfunders to get some quick cash. That's why you need to warm others and let people know whats happenning. Comment on this post if you know any other names or fake aliases that BrianiacsFromMars.com uses. We need to stop these scumbags once and for all!
