Bottarelli Research Options is a three tiered options subscription service. I have subscribed to all three. I have subscribed to the service twice in the last 3 years. The last time I chose a 3 month term for $800. When I took out the subscription at the beginning of the year their policy for refund was prorated based on remaining full months less 10%.

I recently requested a refund which left over 1 month and according to their policy I should receive $240 in 5 business days. The refund finally arrived but it was only $200. This does't sound like much but they change their policy after you take their service. When you add this $40 up and multiply it by how many people get ripped off they are using their policy as a trading vehicle. This happened before and I should have known better and avoided them for their dishonest policy.

If you view the trades Bryan Bottarelli puts on many times you can tell he only buys one contract which makes me wonder how much conviction he really has in his trades. Case in point Feb 2/16 alert told us to buy XOM 75.5 puts he only had one in the game visible on the option chart. Due to the quantity of traders in his service I feel his/their service is flagged some how by the market makers and the options recommended are immediately driven up 15-25% before you have a chance to buy them and his target is usually to make a 20% gain so many traders don't make any money and I feel a lot lose money. He doesn't include commissions in his percentages which skews the ROI's.

Learning how to trade options takes a lot of time and risk. If you choose to take his service be forwarned, just like his line "take the money and run" once he has yours don't expect much in the way of a refund after all subscriptions is how he makes his living or contributes to any losses from bad trades.

After putting up my $450.00 on april 14 2016 and then started reading all i could find out about bottarelli by wed, april 20 i started asking for my funds back. after several emails back and forth i knew they were crooks. they offered me another service which i did not want and then a reduced amount back. Called them to get details. The reduced amount was 390.00 less the cost of letter writting.

Filled out report with Amex to get my funds back and now have a rejected letter from Amex. Which i intend to persue farther.

Upon looking for the bottarelli conversation i find it missing about the one offering me a reduced ammount.

A computer whiz i am not. i may be out 450 but this is a good lesson learned, There are a lot of low lifes out there.

Purchased a one year subscription last July to receive trading alerts. In Dec. received a notice saying they were dropping their current service and replacing it with a much better one that would include weekly option alerts in addiction to the standard monthlies. As a result they were cutting my remaining subscription to half the time remaining plus on month. So in other words, instead of 6 months remaining I would have 4 in the new service.

There was no offer of a refund of my remaining time and no response to emails protesting this change. I never used the weekly options suggestions, which at best made a tiny profit. I think they are crooks and dishonest as hell. In addition to this subterfuge, there service was sporadic at best. After 4 losers in a row they'd hit one decent winner. But after losing all confidence in their recommendations it's easy to ignore the good one. At times a monkey could throw darts at a board and do as well.

Changing a service is fine but people should get the full time they paid for not get screwed because they changed the name and basically provided the same service.
