I needed an urgent loan of $600. I obtained it through Hummingbird Funds, LLC, d/b/a Blue Trust Loans. I was charged $1,800.11 in interest for a total of $2,400.11 over six months! The interest rate was 766.78! To attempt to escape usury laws, the loan is funneled through a sovereign American Indian tribe. I paid the loan timely, and in full. Lender has repeatedly refused to return the note stamped paid.

I have never been disappointed by a loan copmany in my life!. I borroed $300 back in May of this year. The gentleman said I would have an $89 and in June it was a $200 payment. I went to visit their web site and opened my account information and found very disturbing newes. I had payments of $202 a month until October plus an interest attached to each payment! Go figure now I know how they have stayed in the past 4 years. I am on disability and get $758 a month tp pay my rent, utilities and food on my table. This comany should take in consideration of people like myself should not be at a disadvantige and ropped in to such a repayment plan!. I am not comfortable doing business wiI myself isth them and would not refer anyone to them. I myself feel like I haave been taken in by such a service.

I was not given the terms of this loan until after it was done. 287 a month for 6 months for a 425 loan.

In December 2017 I was contacted about a loan for $1,000. I spoke with a woman named Susan. I was at my desk and was told a payment of 365.77 would be deducted from my account starting in January. I thought I was paying 365.77 a month for six months. This would have made my payback at $2,194.62.

Instead they started deducting from my account 2 times a months. As it turns out after speaking with a rep from the company they implied that I agreed to their vague selling point and now I on the hook for $4,389.24. I would have never agreed to pay $4,400 for 1,000 loan. I find this ripoff criminal in nature and dubious. I WOULD LIKE TO STOP PAYMENT.

I got this loan for $400, I allowed them to take more than that out of my account. Now I call and ask why I still owe and they tell me that I have 12 more payments and that the balance is still $435. So they will just continue to charge me and when i call they have no answers for me, and I get mad and they just hang up on me. I had to call my bank and put a hold on them so they cannot take out of my account anymore.

The company sends out texts to cell phones and email stating that one can get a loan in as little as five minutes. They ask for name, last four of social security number, and zip code. They ask to specify a loan amount from $500 to $1000. Then they act as if they are searching for several loan companies. They said I was approved for a loan of $950 over six months. I asked for a loan officer and asked how much I would have to repay each month if I took the full six months. They said $634 and some cents per month. When I said I did not want the loan, as it would come out close to $3800 on a $950 loan, they tried keeping me on the phone, to try to discuss several repayment options. I politely said I would go to my credit union and hung up.

Took out a loan with this company due to an emergency situation. About 8 weeks into the repayment process, the company had an "issue" with their system and the a payment was run through 4 days late. Needless to say the payment was returned from my bank. The next payment and every payment after have gome through with out issue. I get a call from them saying they will be running the failed payment through on a date that the payment would not clear. I asked if they could run the payment with the next payment to get caught up and they refused. These people are rude and unprofessional. I was curious as to what my payoff would be because I have made quite a few payments and was told it was $150 over what I originally borrowed. How could that be when I have made over $900.00 in payments. I borrowed $700. Pay off is $850. Don't do it. Just another company that takes advantage of people in emergency situations.

In July, I took out a loan for $700.00, with Blue Trust Loans which then was to be repaid to Humingbird, owned by the Lac Courte Band of Superior Chippewa Indians. The first payment was $478.62 Which I paid at the end of July. I called to inquire about the amount and was rudely told that that was the amount to be paid monthly for 6 months. At that rate, I would have repaid, $2973,72.I have made a secound payment of $478.62 but wil pay no more. I intend to put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau here in Arizona.

I took a 500.00 loan from blue trust loans. I was not informed that the interest was over 700%. I was told by the reptht mypaymnets would go down with each paymnet. They did not disclose the total amount to be paid back. They mage it impossible to pay it back early. I am stuggling and they have made it worse. This has been the biggest rip off that I have been trapped in.

I hald started an application online then stopped when I saw the interest rates. For $300, after I had made every single payment, I'd be paying over $1200! I did not finish the application. Ever since then I have been receiving phone calls. They somehow got my work number and called it. I did not answer and reported the violation to the FTC. Their BBB business rating is F and they use many different company names to hook people. 44 out of the 53 complaints on the BBB site have not been closed or dealt with in a satisfactorily manner.

I suggest people read the call history on 800 notes (http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-877-770-2682). They are not operating legitimately even though they claim to operate under tribal law. However according to the FTC website that is incorrect: https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases/2014/03/us-district-judge-finds-ftc-can-sue-deceptive-payday-loan

DO NOT use this company! With so many different company "aliases" you can't trust them and they will not leave you alone if you decide against the application. These companies need to be prosecuted and stopped.

I got an email from Blue Trust Loans and I am short of funds and the site looked neat and clear..Had to call them to apply for a $400.00 loan, woman said it would be $375.00 I said ok..We were on the phone for almost an hour while she took down all my information..At the end I had to click on a space to send her my signature name..Once she got that she became very friendly..Finally said I was approved..

My first repayment taken out of my bank account would be $142.74 and second payment would be $253.32,I quickly added those and it seemed fair..so I agreed for $375.00 loan and payments she told me..She got giddy and talked some about her weekend and said goodby..

We hung up,thats when I was going to have a heart attack,I am 85 years old..I checked my account with the site and found I had 6 monthly payments adding up to $1411.38.With 5 more payments of $253.32 with principals of $362.02 down to last principal payment of $154.38 in Nov bringing my principal total to $1411.38..My payments would be $1409.09 over 6 months,

I quickly grabbed the phone to clear this up and they close at 5 oclock Est time on Saturday and didn't answer..I need help with this as I am supporting an ill son who is 60 years old and cannot work thats why I needed a few dollars to get thru this month to pay bills...

Is there an attorney to help me with this situation?? I cannot afford this kind of ripoff..Thanks

I needed to borrow money to pay monthly bills this past January.

I researched several companies that provided pay day loans.

I decided to go with Hummingbird Loans as they said that repayments could be made once a month. The girl on the phone stated the dates and payments I would have to make and I agreed with this setup.

I NEVER got anything in print from them stating payments, dates, interest, etc.

I borrowed $450.00 and ended up paying back $1,026.98 within 4 months as they took money from my checking account twice a month.

This company is a big time rip-off you are mislead when you get the money I was told one thing and when it was time to start paying back in was something difference. I thing something should be done about it it should be looked into and if they find that it is a ripp-off the customers should get some of that high interest back. I think that the Co. should be investergated. Since there have been a lot of complaints.

This company Blue Trust Loans is absolutely a RIPOFF. wow, the craziest thing that has EVER happened to me...I took out a small loan $375. The lady on the phone said you will get a print out of your payment schedule ect. Of course I agreed figuring it was like most of the other pay day loan companies.

When I saw that the schedule went into April 2017..I ask her why is that when I am only borrowing such a small amount...she said I could pay it off sooner..I said Oh ok..knowing it was going to get paid off because I took the payment plan of paying every two weeks $116.00 and they would automatically take out of my account.

So I thought that I had paid the full amount and noticed my next payday they took out another $116.00. Confused and remembering the lady said once the loan ($375 with interest being $59.85 totalling $434.85, is paid in full they will stop auto deductions)....so I called and said ..Hey I paid this loan off 2 weeks ago please stop the auto deductions...Well was I FOOL...

I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF..was I ever so confused and still am confused .. who would have thought I would have to pay $1,342.00 for $375 loan.. WOW!!!!! Not going to happen... It wasnt even imaginable to me that such a company could charge so much interest. I just wanted a small loan amout for Christmas for my kids...as I am in the process of paying off credit cards..So thought I would try doing a small loan...

To me this is totally a CRIME, it's INHUMANE, UNETHICAL, PAINFUL, SAD...and should be ILLEGAL....The severity of this pay back loan amount has me in total disbelief and I am so upset that this was NOT explained to me in "laymen terms" before I agreed..They said today, 1/20/17, that I had to pay to the end of the payment plan ending at 1,342.00. I would have NEVER agreed to this in a million years nor have I ever done a quick loan like this before.

I have paid Blue Trust Loans to date $550.85 on a $375.00 loan.. They will not get another penny from me, I have had to close my bank account.

BLUE TRUST LOANS HAS TO STOP!!!! They need to be investigated..I don't care that they are TRIBAL Indians... I'm an American also. DO NOT EVER... BORROW FROM BLUE TRUST LOANS....

Have your bank block the payments from being deducted

You can have your bank block the payments from being deducted from your account. If they tell you that you can early pay off, then they have to allow you to do it. The bank will stop the payment from coming out, or you can call them and tell them not to draft anything out of your account. When you notify them that they cannot take any electronic payments out of your account, they aren't allow to do it.

I was desperate for a loan due to my husband being off work due to a surgery with no pay, and I am only on Social Security Disability. I searched the Internet and BlueTrust Loans came up and it appeared to be legitimate. It doesn't explain the crazy way it is paid off until you are already roped into it and have your money and are stuck in their web of payments attached to your checking account.

This company will tell you you will only have to pay about twenty dollars infees if you pay them within the the month. By the end of the month, i.e. only a few weeks, you will have paid them $1,900 on a $1,250 loan. That is, if you pay it off. Otherwise, you will pay $712, then again, then again. Now you're up to $2,136.

Then, you think you've paid it off-- remember the loan was for $1,250, and you've paid on time each time-- and you pay another $712. I called them. According to them, I am scheduled to make three more payment of $712. That's $4984 on a $1,250 loan in only seven months!

Avoid these loans at all costs. It is better to starve or postpone your surgery or root canal or whatever.

I contact them and they said they would credit it back and they did not even credit the correct amount . I can barely understand any of the staff when I try to get this resolved . Just put on hold for long period of time and no one seems concerned to correct the mistake . Advice do not get loan here . Total rip off and incompetent people who don't know how to do their jobs has been my experience .

Took out a an installment loan on June 29, 2015. I was in need of quick cash and decided to use them. I had used other quick cash services before and never had any problems. Boy was I every wrong to use this company.

On 07/15/15, I scheduled to pay off my loan. I was told that I could not payoff my loan as it was my first "installment" payment. I told them that there was not a penalty for paying my loan off early. After much argument and request to talk with the Supervisor, I was hung up on. They had my information for a payoff. On 07/17/2015, I expected to see a payoff on my loan. To my surprise, the only amount that was debited from my account was the interest from my loan. I called only to be told that the conversation never took place.

I placed another call today to set up another payoff on my loan. The amount she (Shaylene) told me was $259.50 over of which I owe. When questioned why the difference in the amount that was actually owed, she told me that it was a finance fee on the loan. I told her that I was already paying the finance fee that was owed on the loan but she kept arguing with. She would not allow me to speak with a Supervisor and became very rude to me. After much frustration and fear that she would hang up on me and then charge only a interest/finance charge again, I have agreed to pay the overage that they are charging me.

To add insult to injury, she turned around and thanked me for being a customer and looked forward to doing business with me again and said that for being such a good customer that they would allow me to finance for a larger amount next time I applied. I told her that I would not be needing their services any longer.

I'm not sure that these complaints ever go anywhere but I truly hope that these con artist are investigated and shut down before anymore unexpected victims get caught in their trap. All in all a very bad experience that cost me alot more than it should have.
