Got an email from Mrs. Terri Newman, HR Coordinator position is available, need to take the test. First, I took the test and failed, 2x retake test, so that I can get the HR Certification. I had to pay first and 2x for the retake test. In order for me to get the HRC Employment Certificate and get hired. "Your the Best" from Amy Paulson. Reimbursed once I get hired. I called the #1800, a voicemail. I want my money back!!!

Wow

I just experienced pretty much the same email everyone has received. This email stated that by law in the state of Florida I needed to become certified and it only takes 15 mins for 8.95. Once I have completed the assessment I would receive a call to come in and meet with someone.

My response was why do I need to get certified when I have a Master's degree in Human Resource Management?

This group has several reports on here. I noticed they have modified the verbiage of their emails a bit since the first reports. The email address has also changed to match the domain. They were using @yahoo.

The website is fairly decent top level, but if you try to get more information on jobs, it doesn't go anywhere. A good cover, but no real substance. There are so many job scams today, it is hard to determine who is real, and who is just trying to squeeze a bit of cash out of your wallet one way or another.

Be careful out there, you don't get a certification that takes months in minutes. Any state that requires a certification will require you to physically go to a specific location, show ID and pass a monitored test. The only certification you can get even close to that price is a typing certification and you can't do that online either if you want it to count for a job application.

I am unclear as to where or when I applied for this job, but this is the email(s) I received today.

I have been applying for employment via the internet for about a month. I received an email from Julie Gross stating that BHG Housing wanted to hire me as an Office Manager for their Baltimore office. The email then requested that I click a clink to obtain an I9 E-verify employment clearance. A week later I received another email from Karen Miller stating that Julie Gross recommended me and she wanted to hire me on the coming Wednesday but first I needed to submit this I9 employment clearance. It all seemed hokey to me, so I did not follow up with either request.

I have been looking for a job for awhile now and I recently received an email from someone calling herself Karen Miller. This is the email I was sent:

"Hope you read this email,

My name is Karen Miller, I'm the senior hiring manager at BHG Housing. Julia Gross said you're perfect for the Asst. Office Manager in our San Diego office. With your employment clearance there is a 99.9% chance that I can hire you on Wednesday. Without your clearance there is a 0% chance I can hire you. So get your clearance by 9 PM!

Touch here to get your employment clearance.

Get your employment clearance before 9 PM because I want to hire you on Wednesday at 10 AM.

Best wishes,

Karen Miller Senior Hiring Manager CA territory BHG Housing a Real Estate Company"

The link in the email took you to I9 E-Verify Employment Documents. They try to make it look as legitimate as possible and even have the Department of Justice and Homeland Security names and logos at the beginning of the documents.

I was job hunting and contacted by both a Julie Gross and Karen Miller from BHG Housing /Blue Housing Group located by them in Detroit, Michigan. The position was for an "Assistant Office Manager" Making 51k a year. They requested for me to have an I9 E Verify Employment Clearance, costing 9.95, using my credit card. I did and unfortunately came across this info after doing so. This charge was made on November 25, 2016.
