I bought a fake Picasso's drawing from Bishop and Miller Auctioneers because of a claver advertisement.
Bishop and Miller Auctioneers Knowingly Sold Known Fake Picasso's Drawing and did not disclosed all the facts to me.
Ok, here it goes:
2 Picasso's Drawings were brought for sale to Christie's London in
Feb, 2016, one of them was assigned a lot #292. Both owners claimed that their drawing was
featured in a book by H.Asmodi, Pablo Picasso, Ballettzeichnungen,
Feldafing 1956. The sale was cancelled because obviously one of them
is a forgery.
The Picasso Foundation was called-in to examine both of them.
The first drawing had no gallery receipts (lot#292) and was smaller in size.
The second drawing had a receipt from a gallery in Zurich. The first
drawing lot #292was declared unauthentic, fake Picasso by Picasso Foundation.
The drawing with the gallery receipts was declared authentic and
placed for sale as ot #176, June 23 2016, London:
