BioLife Plasma Services Reviews

I was scammed into 2 donations a week. The first donation was $20 the second was supposed to be $50. But of course yet again they made up a reason not to accept me for the larger amount. This is the 3rd time in a month I completed donations and they have came up with a reason not to pay me. This plasma place is horrible and continuously rip people off. On top of the fact they ripped off a friend of mine that I referred to them.

Bio life plasma Mankato pays $20 the first donation of the week and 50 for the second the problem is you can't get to all your money because of the car that they use to pay you is in $10 increments which no ATMs around have so therefore you have to pay every time you use the stupid card when you happen to have a week where it's off also they charge You a monthly fee just for having the card therefore if you do get a $50 donation and are able to take it out for whatever reason you have overdraft on said card so therefore you can't get your money you have to use their card and guess what they make money off of it these people are bloodsucking vampires.

Noticed it after we had confirmed but she did not fix the error she had indicated. Had donated 2 times since that time and then on my third donation was perminatly deffered and they claim it's my fault cause I was a liar and I have caost them over 14 thousand , just cause I decided to lie, I'm not a liar, the manager slandered my name in public and humiliated me and told me I was not allowed back on there property

Biolife would not release paperwork on why I can't come to their facility. They said I had bacterial or tissue and my blood after the nurse check me in they still let me donate.lose my baby in the process because at the time I was pregnant now they want release any paperwork because they is responsible for the death of my child I was very healthy. And if there RN knew how to do her job I would have known I was pregnant in I wouldn't never donate Palmas(blood) they killed my child in now trying to cover up the accident now they want release any paperwork to me.

I have been donating plasma on and off for a year and a half with little to no problems at the facility down in Fond du lac Wisconsin but problem after problem began when I transfered my records to the Finger Road location in Green Bay. My records were transfered successfully and I was called to confirm this fact. I then went onto schedule an appointment where I was told that I would need a physical even though I had gotten one just 5 months before. I shrugged it off. When I arrived I was told I could not donate because I didn't have to proper forms of identification, mine you I was only told that I needed two forms of identification but never the exact type they excepted. Now I should've just went online and keep own from past experience but hind sights twenty twenty. This was just one of many inconveniences due to poor communication. When I returned wit has what they told me was the proper identification I was turned away again because there was a policy change that I was not informed about which required differed identification and transfer procedures. Annoyed I left and only returned when I was sure I had the correct identification. Here is where the biggest trouble began. I arrived at the center and told the receptionist about my transferring and gave her my w-2 and drivers license which she had no idea what to do with. She then proceeded to tell me that I needed a physical which I was told on the phone that I did not. I told her this and she said that she was confused and that she didn't understand the new policy so she needed to go get another technician. I waited for 15 minutes until I was talked to again. After they said I in fact did not need a physical they told me that I needed to fill out paper work and to wait some more. Here I waited for 30 minutes. After I was finally called up to full out paper work it turned out there was no paperwork and all they needed to do was sign me into their system. They were not especially busy at this time which is why the 30 minute wait was so annoying. After I was all signed in I was taken back for a vein check. I have small veins but it never posed a problem at my previous donation center. I told the technician about this and she said it was fine. She then proceeded to check my veins and said that they were a little difficult to find but she knew she could find them and stick me but she wanted to make sure otherside could. My technician returned with another technician who supposedly was a "master technician". This man mind you was just lounging around in the back with a few other technicians and appeared to me very annoyed that he had to come check me. He then proceeded to tell me that my veins were too small and that I would have to try again on 6 months. I was shocked. He then proceeded to say that if I worked out more and drank more water that it would help and then he just walked away. I understand that my veins may have been too small for this day and that veins do not change overnight but I wasn't even asked if I was hydrated. It was just assumed that I wasn't and that my veins would be too hard to find which is absolute garbage because at the fond du lac location they were able to find them every time. I am appalled my the employees inability to understand and follow policy. I am also unsatisfied with the lack of professional behavior and over all attitude I had with each employee I worked with. I feel as though laziness played a large role in what happened to me. Lazy technicians who didn't understand their own policy, laziness of the technician who found my veins but claimed I couldn't donate anyway, laziness of the manager who should've been teaching and training their employees proper policy. One last note. As I was waiting to be seen for those 45 minutes I witnessed a conversation between the front desk employee and a woman who had just finished donating. The woman wanted to complain/make them aware that the person who was sticking her did not change their gloves between different sticks and didn't change gloves after cleaning a bed and sticking someone. After the woman turned away the employee at the front desk scoffed and rolled her eyes. Though this did not happen to me I am appalled at the lack of hygiene and proper medical procedures that took place here. I would not recommend this location to anyone and refuse to return to this location.
