They worked on my AT&T and Comcast bill. In both cases, they saved me money. On top of it, they sent me the proof of savings from both Comcast and AT&T directly.

I used billtrim's service to renegotiate my cable and cell phone bills. After their "renogotiation", my cable bills actually increased. I sent billtrim copies of my new bills to show the increase, but they continue to insist that they saved me money and that I owe them for their services. I have had numerous interactions with them to get them to stop contacting me, but they continue to do so. Do not use this service. They don't lower your bills and then they will harass you by email and text.
The principals of this company have moved to Mountain View, CA and continue their combined spam-to-scam operation.
One of their co-founders Dipesh "Dipshit" Desai spams from anonymous email accounts and sends personalized messages, but it's all meant to part you with your money.
At first, BillTrim lowered the monthy payment on my ATT wireless bill. Then, when I was on a road trip, I learned that I no longer had wireless hotspot. So, they lowered my bill by eliminating essential services.
I called BillTrim and told them I needed my wireless hotspot back. They called me back later and said they negotiated my wireless bill to include wireless hotspot with no increase in cost (same monthly payment of approx. $158). A few weeks later, my wireless bill came in at $217.
I called BillTrim and told them to correct this. Later that day, my cell phone stopped working. I called ATT from a land line and learned that BillTrim (posing as me of course) had called earlier and canceled by cell phone line. Sons of b-----s.
They helped me reduce my phone bills, but I realized afterwards that I was on a much more expensive plan and got onto a cheaper one which ended up coming out to be the same as the reduced price. A few months go by and I see a nearly $100 charge on my card by BillTrim, and when I asked them what it was for, they said it's for the next cycle of bills that they helped save on. I told them I don't need that since I have a cheaper plan and that I want a refund, and they kept refusing. I threw a fit and they agreed to refund, but it's been 2 months and I still haven't seen the refund come through. They say they processed it but I don't see it anywhere and after I followed up with them multiple times, they have stopped responding and are ignoring my questions. SCAM COMPANY - AVOID!!!!
All the 5-star reviews are either from their family or friends or employees.
Here is what happened with me:-
1. I gave my ATT bill for negotiation. I was already getting a discount of $15 on my bills. Every month my bill was $70 after $15 discount.
2. They negotiated my bill lower to $65 and claimed that they saved me $20 on my bills ($15+ $5).
3. I told them about the $15 discount, showed them the previous bill breakup but they didn't stop and charged my credit card forcefully.
4. The another scam is:- they charge for 12 months all-together in a single go.
5. After 6 months if they reduce your bill even lower by $5 by applying any promo or coupon, they will again charge you straight for one year, even though they already charged for one year...
Isn't this a Scam.
Stay away from this company. I was victim and am planning to sue them soon.
I used them last year to work on my xfinity. After their magic touch, my bill got increased by 25 dollars each month. Even though they charged me 25% of the savings which i never received. I had to fight for the refund. Since then i am paying annually $300 more than i would have been paying to xfinity, just because they messed up with my promotional plan with them and xfinity isn't ready to roll back the promo because bt spoke to them posing as me.

Why do they need to send you proof? Either you are paying less or you're not. No proof required other than your lower bill payments.

I am not interested in billtrim - for the reasons given here.
Fake company. They only need your credit card details for misuse.
Don't ever give your credit card details. Else you will be scammed. The whole team is full of scams.
I though maybe competitors have written bad reviews until I was cheated and scammed personally.
Never recommend Billtrim. They are cheaters and scammers. I was scammed of $350 recently. filed a lawsuit though.
