Big O Tires Reviews

I bought 4 tires at Big o tire in santa clarita ca. I was charged 780.00, 4 months later a bolt went into the tire and the tire had to be replaced. They charged me half the price of the tire again. Buyer beware of big o tire if i would have bought my tires at costco this would have been free of charge.

Sister in law took in Camry because it was making a bit of noise. She was served a quote for $687.97 and told she had to do repair or they would call the police (metropolitan police department). I showed up and asked for the car to be taken off the lift and have wheels put back on. The manager Mike then came out and got in my face and said he was required to call the police and would take the car down but we would be in trouble with the police. Then another tech came out and yelled that he indeed call Metro and we would be in trouble if we took the car away. We did not cave to their threats and took the car elsewhere and had the front brakes done for $105.00. We then contacted Metro and they informed us they do not take such calls and that is a complete lie. If you are a woman and from another country you shoudl not trust these people. They were caugt in the lie and tired to carry it out.

After the brakes were fixed there was one pad that did have metal to matel on the front, it was not a safety issue but it did need repair but nothing close to the quiote from Mike the manager at Big O. He could have been honest and earned more business but he was caught in his like and as a result got in my face and yelled at me about it. This is the second time we have had questionable dealings with this shop. They may be fair for most repairs but if you are a woman that can be taken advantage of you should be very careful with this shop.

On December 18, 2015, my 82 year old father in law was having driver side window issues, my father-in-law is a retired USN SeaBee (21 years), honorably discharging as a Senior Chief, with 2 tours of duty in Vietnam ; Not knowing where to go he pulled into Big O Tires located at 5115 W. Peoria Ave. Glendale, AZ. These people charged him $215.99 for a window regulator and $133.99 for a window switch, plus $95.00 labor (1 hour). Then demanded CASH, total invoice $498.94 Part # DOR 741-738 ($215.99), AND DOR 909872 ($133.99) These are Dorman parts and any auto parts store stocks these for $99.99 and $79.99, respectively. A mark up of $170! This is a clear case in which the manager at Big O Tires took advantage of a 82 year old Vietnam Vet, they assumed no one would look into this.
