BeyondBuzz (beyonzbuzz.com), a site from June 2017, claiming to have worked with Shark Thank, New Wave E-Bikes and The Coverre Cup is sadly enough a scam. Beyondbuzz never worked with any of the campaigns, and especially not with Shark Thank (let the tweet not fool you, it's a fake).

Their "Since 2008" is false, as well as the location team information and "reviews" online. If you take a closer look, all reviews do not only source back to when their website came inline in 2017, but all of them are written by people who offer writing services and guest post services on platforms such as Fiverr and peopleperhour. Beyondbuzz was the site for a book, available on Amazon. The domain expired. Beyondbuzz 's master scammer bought it up.

Moreover, their "crowdfunding podcast" is nothing but a gig bought on Fiverr, pay a bit of attention to the audio file or try to verify anything they say in the on Fiverr.com recorded audio file). Pictures on their website, aka the “team” are all fake and stolen from the internet.

The beyondbuzz.com owner is a Russian guy, not a US or UK based company. He and his crew of two have been running and scamming people with toplevelpr, crowdfundclicks, smartboostsystem and many more. Beyond Buzz is their latest scam site.

And finally, the fake address used (7083 Hollywood Blvd) as well as fake review blog where also used by toplevelpr, smartboostsystem and several other sites. Look them up, the same scam and approach using medium articles written by fiverr writers and a video bought on Fiverr pretending to be a review of beyondbuzz.

They will charge a pre-payment to cover the ad cost (which they do not run) and a % of the campaign funds. You will pay them the prepayment but never get anything back in return. Their aim is, of course, the pre-payment. Not a single backer. Their other sites can be found in the article beyondbuzz review .

Beyond Buzz is now inventurex.com

I almost signed up with inventurex. But did my due diligence before I paid them the research fee. Found it strange that all their articles are posted around the same time last year. Turns out I'm right. The same posts for beyond buzz are used for inventurex.

Beyond Buzz VP of Marketing, Mark Campell claims that the company tests out each crowd funding campaign idea before they take on a client. If the idea/campaign tests well on Facebook, a few days later they send a test report. I received a very positive report that "projected" a minimum funding goal of $200.000.00. The report specifically lists test results and funding sources. My test report listed Facebook ads to be 30% of the funding, PR Promotions to be 25%, social media 10%, and friends and family 4%. They then said they would set up the Indeigogo campaign and would "After we get the project page setup properly, our team will send over the marketing content for approval such as the written PR pitches and an Ad preview for Facebook promotions." Well, unfortunately, they didnt do anything of the sort. They were taking so long to set the Indiegogo page, that I went ahead and set it up myself. They "launched" the campaign and left me in the dark for weeks with no progress, no reports and a campaign that was dead in the water. They made promise after promise and fell short on every one of them. After multiple requests for any documentation of their efforts, the only evidence they provided was a poorly written press release that was picked up by a few obscure travel blogs. No Facebook ads, no social media, and one promotion/press release for $5000. A total ripoff!

I was able to get them to return $2500 by threatening them that I would start a social media campaign with negative reviews on them, and write a Rip Off report, so I did get some of my money back. Im also doing a charge back on my initial $500 down payment, so hopefully I will get that back as well. Everything is well documented in emails because they would never return my calls.I did some research on the company and they are not registered with the state of California, so that makes it difficult to sue them.

Similar Story

Hello,

I have had a very similar experience. My campaign is currently running. This company charged me a total of $10,000 to essentially ensure that my product would get funded. Since it has launched Beyond Buzz has been horrible about contacting me and updating me on what is going on. The campaign is 1/3 of the way through and all of the traction it has generated has been through immediate friends. I would love to hear more about your experience and hear how you were able to get your money back. Please email me to discuss further.

I could go on and on, but will save the details for the attorneys. Everything is well documented in emails because they would never return my calls. AVOID THIS SCAM!

What a joke they are

SCAM ALERT!!!RED FLAGS!!!BEWARE!!! First off , they required me to send them $250 to research my company and Idea. When they found out I had a history of innovative products they scheduled a a call with me and I scheduled an 11:00 call in with Beyond Buzz. I called in exactly at that time and was put on hold. After waiting for a while I was hung up on. I called back to be told they were on another call. Waited a half an hour and called back. Garrett and Mark were on the line and told me they had a 6 figure client on the line so that is why they did not pick up. WOW, being a new client and being told this RED FLAG #1. Then I proceeded to tell them that I had been doing a lot of research and meeting with other crowdfunding consultants to see who would be the best fit when I was told by that that to them was a red flag. So to them it is a red flag that I am doing my do-diligence in comparing companies that may want to work with! RED FLAG #2.. So then, I tried to be as nice as possible and explain to these Bozo's why it is a good idea to do prior research on crowdfunding companies because their are a lot of scams out there and why meeting in person is much better than over the phone. THis apparently was taken by them as a negative thing and they could not understand why I would do this and quickly changed the subject into how much budget I had. i explained in detail that would depend on a lot of factors but said I had up to 15,000 to start. This is when it got weird and they straight up said for that little bit of money up front it basically it was not worth thier time and I was coming in "too hot" with my concerns of the possible scams out there. RED FLAG #3 - DONE. Anyone who know me will attest that I am a reasonable person that knows a lot about business. That is because I have decades of experience running successful companies. I am new at crowdfunding so I am doing a lot of research on it. I can tell you based on my direct experience with these guys you should either stay clear or definetly do some of your own research. I am a busy person and don't take the time to write reviews but in this instance I feel it is important to others like me who are looking for a reputable company to avoid these snakes . I highly suggest to do as much research and comparisons as possible. Good luck out there.
