Best Holiday Club Marketing Reviews

  • Oct 30, 2017

My name is Robert W and I am 74, very soon to be 75. My wife is Terry age 67. Recently Terry under went a double coronary bypass and is under constant care by her cardiologist. Both of us are retired and live on fixed income. Now that the introductions are out of the way, I would like to file an ethics and professional misconduct complaint Best Holiday Club (BHC) of Laredo, Texas.

On 6/12/14 while vacationing in Cabo Saint Lucas, Mexico, my wife and I entered into a signed promise agreement with the representatives of BHC wherein BHC would sell our Time Share at Villa Del Palmar located also in Cabo for a stated amount of $77,000.00 USD. One week later, BHC alleged that they already had a buyer by the name of Albert Humphries. In spite of repeated requests for valid proof of Albert Humphries offer, no such proof was provided. Months passed and then BHC advised that Albert Humphries credit did not check out and that they would have to restart the process and look for another buyer. The disappointment continued with BHC continuing to allege that it had other potential buyers and they, too, were never documented and never materialize in a sale of our Time Share. The initial contract period expired of 180 days ended in 12/14. Even without a contract my wife and I had discussions with BHC with the goal of selling out Time Share.

By 6/15 my wife and I were through with delays, communications not being returned, false promises etc. When we threatened to file a complaint with the appropriate authorities, retain an attorney and notice a long time business associate, Judge Patricia Alvarez, BHC responded by stating that ell efforts to sell our Time Share would cease and they would have no further communications with us. BHC claims to be a trusted company but that's not our experience. From our perspective, BHC misrepresented the sale our Time Share to lure us into a signed contract and a advanced payment by my wife and I of $14,950.23. We found out later that $14,051.00 was distributed to a company called Beautiful Dream that allegedly offered no- cost vacations without fees of any type through an affiliate company Vacation Getaway. BHC through its representatives misrepresented the benefits of Vacation Getaway as they did about selling our Time Share. As it turned out neither program never had a chance of success and ultimately proved worthless. The Watson's demand a full refund appropriate action taken to not let either company take similar advantage against other unsuspected people every where. Thank-your for interest in our situation. Living on a fixed income we cannot afford to take this huge loss.
