I sent 20,000.00 worth of aircraft seat belts to Belt Makers, prior to sending them I talked to the owner, Tim Dunlap, personally, and he guaranteed same day turnaround on rewebbing the belts. I had previously been calling the company phone for a month, with no answer. One phone call was answered by a woman I had never heard before, and she explained that they had lost their certification to reweb belts, but assured me that within a few days they would have the certification back.
The company phone goes to machine, and calls are never returned. Tim's cell phone is full and the only way to get him to return the call is to leave a number, whereupon he would sometimes return the call and give some lame excuse about being at the bank, shopping, not in the office or on his way to the office, and he will get back to me right away. He NEVER returns the call.
He sometimes returns a text to his cell phone,when he doesn't know who it is. He promises to return the belts and gives a phoney fedex number, when I call him on it and ask him to be honest with me, he tells me he doesn't care what I think of him and to keep my opinions to myself.
This is so serious, I am about to fly there from Canada to retreive my belts, when I asked him if he could please get the belts together for me tomorrow afternoon to pick up, his response was "good luck". He has not had the courtesy to communicate any further.
