Bell Canada Reviews

My cell phone contract was coming to an end so I decided to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy 20S ultra 5G cell phone to a new Samsung Galaxy 22s Ultra 5G. I made the purchase and renewal online and the phone was shipped to me - this took about 1 week to arrive shipping from Ontario Canada to Richmond BC.

After transferring my data and personal information to the new phone - within two hours the new phone started randomly beeping. I searched through the phone for anything which could be causing, then searched online and found thousands of comments from other Samsung phone owners who are having the same issue.

I contacted Bell Mobility and they told me to contact Samsung Tech support, which I did - going through the issue with the online tech person. They went remotely into my phone and checked everything and could not find what was causing the beeping - they then suggested I take it to their Samsung store in Burnaby BC and have a tech look at it there.

I did this - wasting all of my Saturday afternoon while the tech went through my phone transferred all data to old phone, erased and factory reset the new phone and then transferred everything back. He thought htis had solved the issue. Several hours later it was beeping again. I repeated the same transfer and reset procedure at home myself - this time it lasted two days and then the beeping was back.

I now contacted Bell Mobility by phone and explained everything I was experiencing and and had done to try and resolve the beeping issue. Of course I am dealing with a call center in a foreign country and the person I am talking to to has limited ability to resolve the issue with my cellphone.

I ask her to move me on to her manager - to resolve my issue. So here is how they want to resolve the issue:

I am to send the new phone back - to Ontario - I am now going to be without a cellphone as I have already returned my old one to Bell Mobility to keep from being charged for it.

I ask them why I can't just return it to a Bell Mobility store but I'm told because I bought it online I can't.

Then she says an alternative is to go to a Bell Mobility store and they will give me a loaner - which I have to load all my data onto, erase and factory reset my current new phone, then I have to ship my phone to Ontario (about a weeks shipping time) and then they will ship me another phone.

In asking why, if the store can give me a loaner phone, why can't they just give me a new phone - I was told they can't do that, as they are two different systems. So once again the customer of a Big Corporation Gets The Runaround - Bell Mobility couldn't care less about the time I have wasted trying to get their product they sold me - to work properly. If this is customer service WOW!!!!

Unfortunately you can never get anyone above the call center manager who actually could possibly help you. These corporation hide themselves so you can never really deal with someone in their own company. If I treated my clients this way as a small business - I would be out of business quickly.

Don't buy cellphones online from Bell Mobility Canada because if you ever have an issue you will get the same runaround I have been given. Buy it at the store froom a real Bell Mobility employee hwo you can go back to if you have an issue as I have experienced. The Government needs to crack down on Big Corporations ability to hide from thier unhappy customers.

I went to walmart, agreed to a basic cellphone plan of $20./24 month contract including a free phone, no mention of a free tablet as well. immediately after the phone began working bell mobility centre, masonville, ont. called offering a free tablet which i refused. Two weeks later bell mailed an unsolicited package containing a FREE tablet but no mention of any charges or contract if i kept it.

I thought it was truly free and worked off the cell phone. then began a constant barrage of phone calls saying i owed money for the tablet. After finally getting bell to cancel the contract they are now demanding 95.89 as a balance on the account i never knew about or ever agreed to.

I mailed the tablet back the same day the account was cancelled, and i dont owe bell anything for something i never wanted, never was told about, and never agreed to. I am 68 years old and fighting stage 4 cancer. Please get bell off my back.
