All he really does at his supposedly free shoots is to , telling them he is going to do the shoot for free as a way of helping them out and then telling them once they have arrived that it is going to be hundreds of dollars and when he is supposedly directing them.
He wound up having to leave new york after he burned his way thru most of the agencies here in town and then managed to con his way into some company out west. It turns out that he did some freelance jobs for them but then refused to actually complete the work unless they flew him out there and put him up in a place of his own to live, which seems to me a whole lot like extortion. Typical bait and switch just like he always did with the "free photo shoots".
