I called, again, to say .."stop sending your products, i had called to verify that i wanted no further orders after the trial sample." "humm" she says and continues to interrupt me as i'm trying to tell her to stop! so disrespectful as well as dishonest company.

In mid December 2020, I saw a facebook add for a product to help regrow the hair and without much research on it, and believing in the reviews, I bought 3. It toke a long time to arrive, so I sent them an email, and they kindly reply checking the tracking number and saying that it was already in Canada. I waited. I received yesterday (21st of January), it came from China. Immediately I realized that the product is not the same as the pictures, it's a different brand, and the ingredients are not listed, it says "jojoba Oil, water, essence, etc" .

Well, I am a product formulator, and I can tell that those ingredients are fake, (I obviously found weird, and I didn't trust to use it), so I sent an email with questions, and had no reply. Then I sent another email asking for the refund, and still no reply. Tried to call the number on the website, and it answers with a machine, and it doesn't seem to be the same business name as the business on the website. The website shows plenty of reviews, and it seems to be actively selling, but those reviews are not from the same product that I received (slight differences and packaging too). So, it seems like someone is using fake pictures from a Korean brand, and selling a fake chinese copy of it. I am not sure. But it seems impossible to contact them.

The email I have for the business is - Emma | Beauty Basics Official .

The website is this one - https://beautybasicsofficial.com/

I cancelled my order over a yr ago. Then all of a sudden I start getting product again and they are charging my account again. The number they provide isn't a working number. It rings plays music for less than a minute and then hings up.

My husband was probably watching some infomercial and saw age rewind being advertised, and decided to call in and order one for me. I started receiving them around march 2016, and every month thereafter. What bothered me was that payments were being deducted automatically, but they ranged from about $45 - $95, with no difference in the product. By july i still hadn't even finished using 1 bottle so i decided to call them and ask to cancel any further shipments. I still received them until november because i finally put a stop to the automatic payments and so payment was declined on their end.

At that point i was irritated that they didn't discontinue or cancel so i wanted to return all of the items, but couldn't find where to contact them. I came across another Outscam in here for the same product and had their number to contact so i did. Today 12/22/2016 i called that number and the lady told me that she could help me with my request to cancel the order and then informed me that back in july it wasn't cancelled that the rate was only reduced... I told her that i wanted it cancelled back then and want it cancelled now. She said that it was cancelled in november due to a declined payment...

I told her, i cancelled it in july, she continued to argue with me saying that it was discounted not cancelled according to the notes... So it took payment being declined for them to stop... I told her that i have 8 unopened bottles, 6 of which are still in their envelopes... She told me that they would not refund me money on them due to their return policy, because those items would have to be detroyed and so there was no refund for that product... I told her that their company was a ripoff and hung up on her. I have from $360-$500+/- worth of useless product.

Beauty Basics Nightmare

Total rip-off I have made at least four phone calls trying to stop the auto shipment and trying to stop charging my account. They are extremely rude and will not take no for an answer. They go on and on while you are talking at the same time!! I'm still waiting to get reimbursed!

I ordered 1 jar of face lotion that did not do what it said it did. Now they keep sending it to me and charging my credit card.

This company first gets you by offering you a fake video of how good the face cream and under eye serum works, then they charge you 200.00 if you dont send it back asap. Then they keep sending you stuff month after month no matter how hard to try to cancel. When you talk to them they try to sell you more stuff and tell you to double up and WILL NOT listen to a word you have to say. They try to send you more and more free stuff and sell you more cream that dosent work anyway. Stay Away from this company.

I responded to a "free sample" offer for Age Rewind. I paid shipping charge of $4.95 The product arrived without any additional information. In Feb, I received an additional package & a debit of $95.92. Package was not opened & remains unopened. Additional charge in March for $98.94 and $98.94 in April. Only the "free sample" package was opened.

I contacted the company today & cancelled any further debits & shipments. I inquired about the $89.97 debit that occurred 14 days after "shipping & handling" charge (I discovered this upon reviewing my past bank statement). Was informed that I should have cancelled & because I didn't, I was charged the product difference. I tried to inform him that I had product to return & he interrupted me & said that the cancellation policy he has just told me about applied to all shipments. His rude interruption while I was still talking upset me & I told him loudly that he didn't let me finish my sentence. He said there was nothing else to tell him & I asked for a supervisor. He said that all supervisors go home at 5:00 and my call was after that time (5:15).

I am on Social Security and should have been more deligent regarding my bank account but would like to return the unused product and receive a refund for all charges except the $4.95 that I originally agreed to pay. Total $383.77 I feel that the company did not provide any documentation regarding the additional charge or future shipments and should therefore be considered false advertising.

When I purchased the five dollar entry product for skin care, I made the simple start up purchase to try out the product. When making the purchase through the Basic Beauty website, I entered windows on their website which would not let me back out. In the end, the five dollar purchase "locked up" disallowing me from canceling my purchase, when at the last moment I noticed that reoccurring purchases would be mailed to me. I tried various ways to back out of the entire purchase screen, but the website would not allow me. Unable to back out, I finally just closed the screen. Sure enough, not checking my credit card transactions on time, I became aware that my five dollar start up purchase had become $200.00 (98.95x2) monthly reoccurring purchases, non refundable, because my complaint came ten days over their 15 day return policy. Making it hard to cancel the order at the start was a slick start on their part. Learn from my mistakes.

So I was scrolling along on facebook when a video for a beauty cream came up showing this man with bags under his eyes that disappear with this cream he uses. It seemed very convincing. It promised a free trial. I received the cream in the mail about 5 days later and was excited to try it. After trying it several times I discovered that it didn't work at all for my wrinkle or the bags under my eyes. Not only that my skin was getting an unfavorable reaction to the cream. So I call the number of Beauty Basics in La Jolla CA to cancel my auto renew service. AFter waiting 15 minutes i finally get a representative. I tell her I need to cancel my service. she seemed pleasant enough, but then tried to get me to continue with this service. I told her I had an allergic reaction to the cream leaving my eyes swollen and that I needed to cancel my subscription. She then went on for 15 mintues trying to get me to keep all the creams and continue to get them. It was like she wasn't hearing anything I was saying. I finally had to raise my voice and tell her I would contact the BBB and that I would sue them if they didn't cancel my service. She finally complied, but I am suspicious that my card will still be billed. DO NOT order from this company! Its like the maffia. Once you sign up, its difficult to leave!

Saw ad said free sample pay only 4.95 shipping I put it on my Debt card. My bank account was charged 89.00 plus the 4.95 plus international fees. I did not order this product only paid for a sample. THat is what was said. But they kept charging my account every day 89.00 for 7 days. I am out a 100.00 for this. My bank said I had to show that I cancelled the product. How do you cancel a product that was free. If that is the case I cancel and I want my money you stole from me back as soon as possible. This is a scam. Please beware.
