Specifically to the services I hired Be Top to perform
1) Be Top promised to deliver patients to my practice. These patients would all have carpal tunnel syndrome and be vetted for their ability to pay a pre-determined amount before arriving at my office. BE TOP DID NOT DELIVER ANY PATIENTS WHO MET THESE AGREED UPON CRITERIA.
2) BE Top promised to deliver facebook advertisements that were
a. High quality and well written
b. Targeted towards the group described in #1 above
BE TOP INDISCRIMINATELY PLACED POOR QUALITY / POORLY WRITTEN FACEBOOK ADVERTISEMENTS THAT RESULTED IN COLD CALLS FROM INDIVIDUALS THAT DID NOT HAVE CARPAL TUNNEL IN ADDITION TO THEM HAVING ALL SORTS OF OTHER CONDITIONS THEY WERE NEVER FINANCIALLY VETTED AND THEY COULD NOT AFFORD SERVICESAT THE RATE BE TOP WAS SUPPOSEDLY SCREENING FOR. THE RESULTS OF THESE ADS WERE AS FOLLOWS
1. PATIENTS I ALREADY HAD SEEN SAW THE ADS. THESE PEOPLE DID NOT HAVE CARPAL TUNNEL BUT THEY ASKED HOW THEY COULD SEE ME AT A DISCOUNTED RATE OR GET A REFUND FOR SERVICES PREVIOUSLY PROVIDED.
2. PEOPLE WITHOUT CARPAL TUNNEL AND WITHOUT ANY FINANCIAL MEANS JUST WANTED A “FREE” CONSULT. THIS PLACED ME IN A PRECARIOUS POSITIION BECAUSE IN SPITE OF BE TOPS RECOMMENDATION THAT MY ASSISTANTS (NOT NURSES OR PHYSICIANS ASSISTANTS) EVALUATE THE PATIENTS INSTEAD OF ME, I OF COURSE SAW THE PATIENTS AND CONDUCTED A THOROUGH EXAM. ALTHOUGH I WORKED FOR FREE KNOWING THAT THESE PEOPLE WERE NOT VETTED AND COULD NEVER AFFORD MY SERVICES I
a. PAID MY TRANSCRIPTION
b. LOST TIME SEEING PAID CUSTOMERS
c. ASSUMED LIABILITY BY SEEING A PATIENT
3. I RECEIVED CALLS AND INQUIRIES FROM MANY PATIENTS AND MEDICAL PERSONNEL IN THE COMMUNITY ASKING IF MY PRACTICE WAS IN TROUBLE AND IF I WAS OKAY. ONE PHYSICIAN ASKED HOW I WENT FROM BEING THE FOUR SEASONS HOTEL EQUIVALENT TO MOTEL 6. NOT ONLY WAS I NOT GETTING ONE PATIENT AS PROMISED BY BE TOP LOCAL I WAS WATCHING MY REPUTATION BE DESTROYED.
3) Be Top Local did not honor their sales pitch and their verbal agreement to return all funds if I was not satisfied with their performance. Instead they kept saying to give them more time to prove that they can deliver. I believe in giving businesses a chance and we did so. THEY DID NOT DELIVER A SINGLE PATIENT MEETING THE CRITERIA THAT THEY HAD PROMISED. NOT A SINGLE DOLLAR WAS MADE AS A RESULT OF BE TOP LOCAL. QUITE THE CONTRARY. EXTENSIVE TIME AND MONEY WAS LOST ON THIS PROJECT
4) Be Top Local charged our credit card without permission prematurely on multiple occassions
5) Be Top Local sold us a bill of service under false pretenses and after multiple attempts to get the refund that they had promised they have not given back even $1.
6) I am a busy physician and I do not have time to pursue action against Be Top Local but I am also a man of integrity and his word. Right now the following actions are in the works:
a. A civil class action law suit appeal to every physician in the USA who might have interacted with Be Top Local.
b. A criminal law suit.
c. A summary of my interaction with Be Top Local to multiple private social media sites used by physicians only
d. A summary of my interactions with Be Top Local on public social media sites
e. A summary of my interactions with Be Top Local to the Better Business Bureau
Beware of Be Top Local they do not deliver as promised and they damaged my reputation.
