Aul extended services car repair refused to pay dealership to repair power steering pump.stating since it had a leak in the hose.it was my fault. The manager went so far as to also blame the dealership service manager.by stating that the leak was an old leak and I let it go dry. I contacted the dealership and spoke with the service manager and told him what's I was told by AUL. The manager at the dealership told me he spoke with two employees at AUL and told them it was a fairly new leak and it was not my fault. That it was not an old leak.I just noticed it 122915 and called AUL right then and took it to the dealership the next morning. I told AUL that I am a 100 percent disabled veteran and I bought the insurance to cover such event's. Was told we do not pay for normal wear and tear. I told the manager I wanted the address and name of the CEO.so the court's can send him the paperwork as I'm taking them to court.after the manager tryed to convince me it was my fault.he gave me the name of the CEO Jimmy Atkinson and then laughed at me. Going to the court house tomorrow and file a claim against this worthless.conniving scam artists. Southwest motors in pueblo co.is selling these worthless contracts to it's customers. $450 dollars down the drain if the judge lets them get away with it. Now what to feed my family.they could care less.if they eat. What a scam.

Purchased an extended warranty plan for $3,500. I paid for every option available, including the enhanced electrical policy. They denied an electronic module that controls the blinkers, gas gauge, and hazard lights claim. They denied the claim due to some corrosion on the wire. The module is inside the rear quarter panel of my ML350..This is a classic case of a perfect warranty scenario.. No where in the contract did it state it would not cover any electrical component due to corrosion or whatever reason they deem necessary to deny the claim. I was told everything was covered with only a $100 deductible. When the service adviser called me AUL He told me they would not pay for anything, and they have the right to deny ANY claim. Very RUDE and basically only left me the option to sue them in small claims court. I was very courteous and respectful on the phone, however the representative that called me was very cynical and rude. A complete rip off company.. Extended warranties are for peace of mind in case the out of ordinary malfunction or repair happens to your vehicle. I realize they all have some restrictions but in my case purchasing the enhanced electrical policy that cost more should cover an electronic component that no one can access or knows exist.

I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how a business named AUL Extended Warranty Company, does business by ripping consumers off. I am hoping you can help me, or at least point me in the right direction.

I am writing to EVERY major portal I can find and will let them know of my experience with this shady company.

In March of 2015 I purchased a car from Spanky and Frankys Auto Sales in Media PA, (our court date with them is July 18, 2015), for our son who turned 18 and had saved enough to purchase a vehicle at $3990. At the time of purchase we also bought an extended warranty with AUL that Spankys talked us into. It supposedly covered 18 months, or 6000 miles.

By April of 2015, my sons car needed a new motor. Spankys told us not to panic, that we are covered. After three mechanics looked at the car, AUL was contacted and was told that the motor would need to be replaced. Aul in turn told the mechanic that he would have to rip the motor apart and they could send someone out to inspect it.

THIS IN ITSELF IS RIDICULOUS!! Not one of the three mechanics have EVER heard of this.

On June 2, 2015 my mechanic called and stated they denied the claim because there was no oil in the motor. Well the fact is, three mechanics are willing to testify in court that there is NO WAY this could have been the case and that there was in fact oil in the motor. The mechanic that broke the motor down stated that he told the AUL Representative at his shop that the thing had sludge in the motor and there is no way he can say what AUL is stating. We have also taken many pictures.

AUL Warranty took our money and when we needed them they lied. This is NOT the way an insurance company is supposed to work, nor is it legal for them to deny a claim when three mechanics (from three different shops) have all looked at this car and stated the same thing.

I have also found many complaints against this company for the same exact reasons and different ones. http://www.bbb.org/greater-san-francisco/business-reviews/extended-warranty-contract-service-companies/aul-corporation-in-napa-ca-13815/complaints
