Atos Reviews

  • Jul 21, 2016

I worked for Atos on Febuary 11th, 2016. My job on that day was to swap out memory cards in Lap Top computers. They hired me through Work Market and we agreed on 30 day terms for payment. Payment was due on March 13th, 2016 and the funds have not been transfered to my account yet. For some reason the funds are being with held? I have reached out to Atos and Work Market several times to resolve the issue. In a world of Cell Phones and Email, I feel an answer to my problem should be available with in 24 hours. It has now been 72 hours and I have not received any information on the status of my payment. And that's why I'm on Rip Off Report right now.

Now, let me eleborate on how I was treated as a worker, I worked with them on this site for 5 days.

My last day on the job (day 5), I arrived and I was told I would not be needed. They had to work on some things and they would let me know when they needed me again. Now, I had confirmed that I would be needed when I left the job site a few days earlier (day 4). I even contacted the project manager the day before the assignment started to confirm the schedule. So, I drove and fought traffic for 2 hours to get to the job site, just to be turned away. When I asked for compensation, I was only offered one hours pay and they would cover parking (Parking + 1 horus pay = $42.00), which is very generous, but I wasted 4 hours of my day getting to the job site and driving home. As far as I'm concerned, I should be compensated for 4 hours of my time and parking, since my whole day is now wasted. I wish Atos would understand, I turned down better paying assignments for more reputable companies to honor my commitment with Atos. I do not think is too bold to ask for a little more that just $42.00 for wasting my whole day and preventing me from working with other companies. Also, all this could have been avoided, if the project manager would have reached out to the point of contact in Philadelphia to confirm the schedule.

The worst part is, I had to pay for parking for 5 days to work for them. I paid out at least $164 for parking. I feel like that money has been stolen from me.

Right now, my kitchen is empty. I would love to go to the store and buy groceries, so I can eat and live another day, but I can't until they pay me.

What should I do? Should I go to the local Grocery Store and steal some food, since Atos will not pay me?
