AskNow.com Reviews

Dear Audience I am actually a real psychic healer and on January 20, 2021 in a moment of weakness and based on positive reviews on Ask Now's psychic site I called late at night for a reading for myself.

The first red flag is the customer service representative asked me for my full billing address and security code number for my bank's debit card and asked me to repeat this information twice very loudly over their phone system.

The second red flag is the customer service representative insisted John who was probably the best talker on the hotline would be perfect for my needs. She offered me a deal that was too good to be true and said that normally John who is a top reader charges $13.99 per minute but he could read for me for a total of $40 for 40 minutes. I was extremely explicit with the customer service representative and said I was only interested in the $40 reading and not the expensive $13.99 reading because money is very tight for me.

After I was given his extension as the only option I attempted three separate times for 15 minutes to try and connect with him but their robot system wasn't allowing me to connect to him or anyone else on that psychic hotline.

Finally we connected together and I told John I had just received a piece of paper from the manager at our property that me and 20 other people were being threatened with a 5 day notice of eviction during this pandemic.

He kept me chatting for as long as possible telling me he belongs to a coven and they would put my request in a prayer circle but he didn't give me a legitimate psychic reading at all nor did he tell me any information about myself, my past or the future. He just wanted to talk about nonsensical information rather than give me a legitimate psychic reading which indicates to me this line is fraudulent.

The next day my bank showed me three separate charges were made by their company called Best Readings. They charged my debit card $40 then $416 and on top of that an extra $78.

If you do your research online they have scammed many consumers like me who had hoped for a $40 reading for 40 minutes but we were all victimized by this company. I called their customer service team for days after and they laughed at me and said I agreed to a top tier reader for the rate of $13.99 per minute. Not one manager offered me help and in fact they were extremely unsympathetic to my request for a full or partial refund.

Please don't let this happen to you. No one from Ask now will assist you in obtaining a refund and during this pandemic they should be ashamed of themselves scamming people of their money

Onesun or sand star productions is a scam organization exploiting genuine psychics for huge profits. They hire you to lie, demanding that you keep the clients on the phone for over 28-30 minutes minimum. Meanwhile they are charging the client $5.99/min. If you "sell" lower than that, after just one week, you are fired! they pay the psychics .40c/minute. Most clients are not aware of this scam, and if you are an ethical psychic, they will fire you fast, since it is honestly impossible to keep such a high quota on a consistent basis. I agree with sherry — shelbyville tennessee united states scamion, this must be one of the most aweful exploitation of people ever!

This company I agree with alot of the writers is a SCAM. It is very sad how this company charges all those minute rates and do not pay their readers enough to be worth their time. I had a friend that worked for that site and they quit.

They wanted to make the callers stay on the line just collect money. They would also send out phony emails to get folks to call. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS SITE. IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE SORRY.

They billed me $550.00! i purchased a $30/30 minute new customer package. They did a bait and switch and billed me $13.00 a minute!!!! and i even emailed them after the reading because they didn't give any time warnings before the 30 minutes were up so the reading went to 45 minutes they said - the also tried to tell me the person i read with didn't qualify for the $30/30mins. What?? Yscam!! and i'm a 30 year advertising/marketing veteran - oldest trick in the book - try to make the consumer be at fault. Uh, uh. This is a class action suit waiting to be filed. When i called customer service, the first person argued with me telling me i was wrong - when i asked to speak with a manager, he acted like he could have been the owner and was threatening. Unbelievable. Class action 1000%.

I simply called this so called psychic and end up being rip-off. This character simply kept me on the line, only to tell me that people are talking behind back at the place I am interning at. Well that is no surprise or news. There should be a protocol in place for people like this, where the person can press 1 to continue the fake reading. It should not be an automated voice for 3.5 seconds. She deliberately kept me on the phone after I told her I do not have $20 and I have to go back to work. I should of just hung up in her face which I ended up doing. It was just a bunch of jibberish for $39. 13/min. is too much money to pay for a crappy reading. I want my money back immediately. I called customer service and all they said was you should of hung up the phone, like seriously. What kind of service is this. That whole network need to be researched again to weave out the bad practices. They will get you with that $5 free minutes. OF COURSE they will recommend her because they know she is a BIG CON ARTIST!!....

Asknow has rude and unprofessional customer service representatives. The supervisor isn't of much help either. Maybe offer a training on how to communicate with customers?

Please do not even waste your hard earned money on this site as it is just a sham. I spent twenty dollars for one of their 5 star psychichs to tell me a bunch of wonderful things that were all lies !!! it is my beleif that these individuals will try and lure you in by telling you that all these wonderful things are going to happen in your life, only for you to get hooked and then return after thier 1.00 per minute introductory offer has ended, thus oaying upwards of 10.00 or more per minute ... Please dont even bother . Pray to God to give you the answers you seek. I made a huge mistake that I shall not make again

I have used asknow for a few months and spoke with many readers and have complained numerous of times that I want my money back and they try to tell me "threats" get you nowhere. For entertainment purposes only it states. I wish I could someway get all my money back for the false numerous readings and promises they gave me.
