Dear "Not Confusing",

The "scientific" explanation makes absolutely no sense.

"causing bloodflow to return" Dude, (or can I call you Bart?) if there is no blood flow(two words since I know you love spelling), you're going to have necrosis.

"Discards unwanted fat pockets"????? You may have an education, but you do not understand how the body works or you are bullshitting.

Your product is an overpriced piece of plastic.

The FasciaBlaster Causes More Damage

I am speaking to the FasciaBlaster's "results". I am a trained Myofascial Release therapist and I would suggest anyone to avoid this product unless you wish to add further injury to yourself. Her "research" is piggybacked from other true fascial researchers or "fasciologists" out there, like Robert Schleip, Tom Myers, John Barnes, etc. She copy and pastes their words and diagrams and then throws a sentence or 2 saying, "....and this is how the fasciablaster....." to try give her tool validity.

Speaking to her methods, they are nothing new. They have been used by Graston practitioners, or anyone that uses a foam roller or lacrosse ball. With the amount of aggressive pressure exercised in one area ultimately leads to additional injury to the surrounding area that is being addressed, whether that's the blood vessels, nerves, the muscles, organs, and yes the fascia. Some folks may....and I use that with reservation....may experience some initial benefit but eventually the tissue returns to its original state but now compacted with additional soft tissue damage from the aggressive raking this "tool" provides.

I have had a number of clients now that I've seen that at one point were using the FasciaBlaster, or Graston, or foam rollers and lacrosse balls for self myofascial release. They all had no resolution with their original issue although some saw a temporary benefit. Others said it was too painful. And they all had even more limited motion in their treated areas.

Summary: FasciaBlaster doesn't eradicate cellulite or stiff fascia. The FasciaBlaster just makes it worse. If you still want to beat yourself up, then get a lacrosse ball or a foam roller and save some money. Youtube has many foam roller and lacrosse ball videos.

It is a bit confusing to even comprehend how this product was even developed. Ashley black has no certifications yet talks as if she is qualified and has a doctorate to be able to openly tell women how to use this tool to rip fat off their fascia. The site also claims that she did all this research and discovered fascia which no one else understands or pays attention to. This is crap, the chinese have had fascia tools for hundreds of years and massage therapists, good ones, know that is where the lumps are. The reason it is new to the public is because in an fda approved situation this product would only be allowed in the hands of a massage therapist or higher in medical standards. Which might explain why there are a number of sites and how you have to be careful which site you order from or you might be waiting a long time if you even receive the product at all. The videos were telling women to pop their leg a certain way or go ahead and rub as hard as you can. Some people don't know that they could be rubbing into a cancer spot or hell what if that lump in your stomache is a new born fetus. Where is the fda on this, its not that the product is bad but it shouldn't be in the hands of the average joe and how can someone without crudentials create a great product yet use another country to build it and yet cannot get their customer service under control at all. There are also a ton of fake claims that so and so endorses it yet there are no videos or claims directly from any medical or other professionals. In the end this company feeds off a woman's insecure need to live up to society standards and watching the crazy ones bruise themselves trying to look perfect is crazy.

Not Confusing

First, I would like to address the one star review above. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but considering you clearly have no understanding of fascia nor have you used the product, I believe your rating is unfounded. I am a personal trainer and have worked in multiple physical therapy offices and can tell you first hand you are not ripping fat off your fascia. Fat isn't bound to fascia, it lays underneath it. Fascia is like a grid of rubber bands responsible for holding in and supporting the muscles of your body. When you are injured or overwork your body, the fascia becomes inflexible, this causes pain, scar tissue and limited mobility. The FasciaBlaster smooths out the fascia and elongates it again, causing bloodflow to return to the area. This in turn discards unwanted fat pockets in the body, the bruising happens at first and any body work professional will tell you its normal. This sentence " Some people don't know that they could be rubbing into a cancer spot or hell what if that lump in your stomache is a new born fetus" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. First cancer generally is found within the organs or deeper tissue layers, fascia is closer to the surface. Second "stomache" is spelled stomach and fetuses are found in the uterus not the stomach. If it was a new born it would not be a fetus, if you are saying a newly developed embryo, then you are also mistaken. Women would not damaging and embryo as that is protected by a thick layer of tissue. To address your final sentence, there are multiple Facebook pages with women that show before and after photos of their results and stories, these are not paid women and are not endorsed, just women supporting each other on their journeys. Please get an education before you poorly try and slam a company.

Not impressed

There are actually many superficial forms of cancer, and yes this product could be dangerous to certain people. Also the uterus is located above and behind your bladder. The organs do not have their own cozy apartment, everything is pretty jam packed in the body. When pregnant, and your uterus expands, it is actually normal to feel a fetus in the stomach area, mid belly button or so. Also, a professional would consider a prospective customer's concern, and try to respond in a positive manner to put them at ease, not lash out at them. Your knowledge of the body, and response alone would make a person turn away from this confrontational product without doing any research on it. Just a bit of advice.

scam and awful business practices

the creator- AB, was censoring her Facebook page; not allowing negative results/adverse reaction post to be posted… period. She was deleting any/all negative comments. I finally discovered that I wasn’t the only one NOT getting the results that AB promised and also learned there were women actually being HURT with the device. My issues are small compared to some of the many others. I was made worse by a device that was guaranteed to give me 100% cellulite elimination. So now that I knew I wasn’t alone, I did some more digging. When I bought the tool, her Terms and Conditions state that the FasciaBlaster is NOT a medical device however, the packaging it came in says it is a Class 1 medical device with US Patent No. D735.818. The T&C also state that the AB Company does not identify itself or any of its personnel, as a licensed dietician, nutritionist, certified personal trainer, massage therapist, medical provider, or licensed/certified as a professional in any field. She touts herself as a scientist but has no medical or health related credentialing what-so-ever. She holds her man Bart Jameson as out as a Fasciologist and her gal Kathleen Stross as a Neuroscientist. It is an insult to those of us with well-earned degrees and a dangerous practice to engage in because she is regularly offering medical advice to the unsuspecting public several times a day on her FasciaBlaster Facebook pages. She flat out denied to users that were experiencing weight gain, that the FasciaBlaster did NOT and could NOT cause weight gain but then updated her T&C to include weight gain as a possible side effect. The updated T&C are 11 pages long, and include multiple new contraindications and warnings-the last T&C update was 4 pages. Because there were no clinical trials or studies conducted outside of “her camp” prior to it’s release to the masses, one can only conclude we, the consumers, have unknowingly been her test subjects. She actually called us her “guinea pigs” on a post as recent as March 10, 2017. And I know that had AB been honest, had she allowed dissenting views to be shared, had she listed ALL of the possible side effects/adverse reactions, had she posted genuine, unfiltered and un-photo shopped photographs, I would not have purchased the product. This woman’s business practices are despicable. Her integrity is questionable. And now, she’s threatening to sue anyone/everyone who has spoken out about her and her bad practices. The “device’ is hurting people. It needs to be remove from market and studied

DISHONEST AND VERY MISLEADING!!!

On the FasciaBlasters facebook page, there are NUMEROUS photos that have been taken from plastic surgeon websites and presented as real FasciaBlaster results! If anyone posts any negative concerns on her facebook page they are promptly deleted and the poster is blocked from the page so that no other comments can be made.

Be sure to search facebook for FasciaBlaster Negative Effects and Blaster "The Real Story." It is important for your health and well-being to be well informed BEFORE you commit to using the FasciaBlaster!

Ashley Black is deceitful in my opinion.

Scam

If there were a zero...that's what I'd give this tool.

Changes the terms and conditions after having sold thousands of this tool.

And the ABGuru facebook page is censored. Not allowed to leave anything negative or lust concerns....if you comment something negative or state a concern...you're blocked from the page.

I suggest a lot of research prior to purchase. Seek out alternative opinions. This tool contains BPA and can cause harm. Also google tr YouTube phone call from said Guru threatening a paying customer.

Wish I had NOT used the FaciaBlaster --- Skip this Gimmick

I’m 47 and used this product for 6 months, going to an LMT 1-2x a week and treating myself 3-4x a week (this was June to December 2016). I felt that my cosmetic results were great. I was eating low carb, following a “keto” diet and was exercising. As I was losing weight, my body seemed to be getting more firm/tight. I attributed this to the FasciaBlaster. I missed 5 consecutive periods during this timeframe and in December I stopped “blasting”. I scheduled a surgical procedure for February and discontinued blasting. Following my surgery I had a complication (blood clot/DVT). I think my use of this product caused my missed periods and also probably contributed to the DVT. Also, my cellulite and skin is worse than before I started with the product. I wish I’d never seen the sponsored Facebook ads for the Fascia Blaster and I wish I’d never joined the FaciaBlaster Facebook group which I believe gives skewed information about the effectiveness of the product. The site is heavily censored and posts have to be “approved”. Women that submit posts hoping to query the group (about effectiveness or effects they’re personally experiencing) are denied that opportunity in many cases. How many, I don’t know. I do know that I’ve personally seen hundreds of posts by women who say they tried to ask the group about XYZ and instead received a personal message by Ashely Black directing them to tutorials, videos and more recently her book for the answers they seek. People were told for months if not years that the FasciaBlaster did not cause weight gain and now weight gain has been added to the terms and conditions as a possible effect from using this product. The inventor, a self proclaimed “scientist” with no formal credentials that I’ve been able to find appears to give medical advice including diagnosis and treatment plans to the members of her group. I believe this needs to be investigated by whatever governing agency covers this. Ashley Black is suing one of her customers that used her product for 2 years for coming out and sharing her experience with the product and what she believes to be adverse effects of the product (search Facebook or Youtube for Karen Wallace). Several people that have come out against this product and/or its inventor have been silenced, it seems, by threats. If you’re considering this product please do your research. I don’t think it’s worth risking your health or the eventual cosmetic damage that people are starting to see when they discontinue use.

Does more harm than good

I purchased the blaster to help with tight hamstrings and shoulders. Initially it helped release the tightness in these two areas. After a few months it did not seem to help as much. But then there was a cascade of health issues that started: unexplained rapid weight gain (15 pounds in a matter of a couple months without changing diet or exercise, hormonal changes, thyroid issues, pityriasis rosea rash, re-activation of epstein barr virus, cellulite in places where there was none before, sagging/crepey skin. At first I thought it was just me until I found hundreds of others who were experiencing the same things and had all just started using the blaster as well. Coincidence? I think not. Do yourself a favor, seek a Licensed Medical Professional in fascia/muscle etc. if you have tight muscles that need releasing. If you have cellulite that you are trying to address the blaster will NOT fix that but instead will likely give you MORE cellulite along with many other health issues.

Disillusioned false medical claims

The seller is not legally able to give medical advice, has no certified training nor education. The seller is good at marketing (and pays well for it), yet feels compelled to offer opinions based on illusions of grandeur. The facebook group consists almost entirely of new and potential customers (along with paid/compensated employees and personal family/friends of seller). Many customers believed they had positive results at first because the seller told them so. It may take up to six months for users to realize the damage they have done with these tools. My personal experience has been very negative, spending over $400 on these tools then realizing after 4 months of use that I have experienced sagging, wrinkled, cellulite (where there was NONE before) riddled skin, bruising, headaches, thinned eyelashes, vertigo, swollen inflamed lymph nodes, excess stubborn weight gain, temporary hearing loss, and high blood pressure. The seller believes that you cannot complain because even though advice/directions were given, it is your choice to use the tool. You also cannot complain because there is a money back guarantee. The $360 (minus shipping costs of course) does not cover the pain and suffering from use of this tool. It does not return me to the health I had before using the tool. Please, do not even start use of these tools. If you already have, please feel free to join adverse effects facebook group, class action lawsuit, and any kind of filing complaints you can (such as FDA).

Load of manure

The review title pretty much says it all. Mrs.Black has repeatedly lied about her credentials and certifications. Three of her top supporters that were mods quit back to back after finding out about her lies. The first mod was threatened that if she said anything they would go after her husband’s business. She had 4 children and her husband had just been through a major medical crisis that put him I’m ICU. She was scared into silence until fairly recently. The other two quit when they were asked to sign NDA’s. When they said no, the company tried to withhold their paychecks . One of the mods knew it was illegal to do so and let ABG and her staff know that they were breaking the law by threatening to withhold earned income. They could be let go for not signing, but earned income can not be withheld. One of the mods was misclassified as an independent contractor when legally accord to the IRS rules she was actually a employee.

Mrs. Black and her security team harassed all naysayers. They were bullied and stalked. She dug up private information to share about them in an effort to try and hurt their credibility. She sued a customer that left her a negative review but the judge dismissed the case and ordered her to pay all legal fees and he sanctioned a dime against her. She appealed the ruling. She sued others and dropped the lawsuits . Currently there are several class action suits being built against her. She is in my opinion a con artist that preyed on insecure women and women battling illnesses that would do and try almost anything to feel better. She has made statements that blasting could cure all sorts of diseases. Again, she doesn’t have the medical credentials or studies to make such claims. She claims her FB group has 340,000 members but the majority of the members are not active so the numbers aren’t really indicative of how many ‘happy’ blasters there really are. She blocked anyone with anything negative to say or anyone that questioned her. This skews the numbers as well because eh blocked them from the group without removing them so the blocked members were still seen as ‘members’. She is to fascia, Jilly the loon is to juice. Save yourself the permanent staining from bruises , ER trios, potential miscarriages and blood clots. Save your money and don’t fall for the hype. She is not who she represents herself to be. She’s a liar and has been caught lying too many times to count. There are screenshots to prove she lied. She has also used stolen pics from plastic surgeons websites as her own on Facebook and Instagram. Buyer beware. You’re buying a lie from someone that isn’t out to help anyone. Her priority isn’t her customers or clients, it’s her bank account.

Love the blaster!

I have used this product for one year. It has made wonderful changes in my skin texture and cellulite. I've lost 35 lbs to date. I only gain a few when swollen after a long good workout session which lasts about a day and when you use the "flush" technique after blasting, you recover quicker due to better blood flow. Pictures are proof! No plastic surgery here! All done by the blaster! Yes it is a workout on oneself and you need to be motivated to use it and stay consistent. I had surgery 4 weeks ago and still have the same body just before surgery. Waiting the six weeks to be fully recovered then I will start the blasting sessions again. Sorry nay-sayers, but the Ashley Black blaster works for me and her lotions are excellent too!
