Arrow Truck Sales Reviews

  • Jul 5, 2021

I recently purchased a Kenworth T680 from Arrow Truck Sales in Springfield MO. Starting in the day I picked up the truck from their Kansas City MO location, to now, this truck has been in the shop for over 25 days. We have only been able to work/drive the truck 2 times. The truck was previously wrecked, couldn't pass a level 1, 2, or 3 Federal DOT Inspection. The brakes don't work, the steering was out, the transmission will not shift, the a/c doesn't work, fuel pumps were out, 3 different sensors were out, air is leaking under sleeper, the end of the exhaust pipe under the sleeper is completely missing, the brake chamber between axles 3 & 5 is not connected to the rod, that rod is bent, all brake pads are warn so bad that we can't even stop the truck. Since the service brakes are all bad, the j brake will not engage.

Marker lights on front were out and the right blinker/flasher, did not flash. Those 2 things alone will fail a DOT inspection. The truck was wrecked and Arrow Truck refuses to be honest about this truck. Today, 7/6/21, the truck is going back to the shop, for the 4th time, because it's a death trap. We drive long haul, team, and we have had to turn down over $40,000.00 in income because of this wrecked, lemon truck. We have had to pay for hotel rooms, and the list goes on.

**Buyer Beware of Arrow Truck Sales of Jacksonville & Tampa.** Any driver out there looking to purchase a semi truck do not look in the direction of Arrow Truck Sales. They flat out sold me a lemon truck. Bruce Roznos maliciously orchestrated a fraudulent scheme to scam hardworking, law-abiding citizens out of their hard earned money (mechanics passed the truck and it's leaking carbon monoxide due to cracked exhaust pipe): I was getting sick and experienced headaches while driving with the window up. They knowingly have trucks for sale that are grossly abused, neglected, and on the verge of breakdown. Long story short: 1) I purchased truck 5/31/17; 2) Took possession 06/31/17 (it took that long for my employer to get all documentation needed); 3) I drove the truck 593 miles (FL, SC, and back to FL where the truck breaks down 7/10/17 when I went to St Augustine, FL for job orientation. It is 8/14/17 and I am still without a truck. Why? Well let's see: I purchased a warranty with the truck because there was an as-is clause in financing contract. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to me, the NTP warranty only covers failed not worn parts: the dealer knew this, but sold me the warranty anyways. Arrow Truck Sales has a 90 day warranty to cover anything that goes wrong with the truck. However, my truck wasn't covered since it was a 2009 (that's the reason I'm given). No where on their pamphlet or website does it say whether newer or older truck years are covered: it says "trucks" which implies all. The hoopla initially was that Arrow wouldn't cover the repair bill because it was too expensive. The bill went from $15,000, to $10,000, down to $4,100. Better right? Wrong!

At this point I have been out of work for 1.5 months and my reserve cash is gone making it rain with hotel stays, gas, food, and having to deal with these crooks. Mr. Roznos assured me that if I got the bill down, drove from my home two states away, get the truck towed to the shop of his choice, that he would pay the bill: all I had to do was sign a contract saying after they paid for the repairs they would no longer be liable for anything that happens thereafter. Turns out he only wanted me to sign that paper to cover their butts. Paul of the Tampa location was the Headmaster of it all: he's in charge of approving truck repairs. During our conversation he said he would only cover $1,000 of the $4,100 bill and "Good luck on the rest." So there you have it folks: $30,000 in lost wages, $23,344 truck w/ warranty, and $3,400 of truck payment, insurance, tags, permits, taxes, fuel, and truck supplies down the drain. I am not the only one Brucey Poo has done this too: in the past 50 days of me being out of work and the 37 days of the circus act they put me through, apparently they have done this very same thing to 5 or 6 other victims. Do not purchase a truck from Arrow Truck Sales of Jacksonville or Tampa. If you do, just throw your money in my bank account: I could surely use it and it won't go to waste there. If this has happened to anyone else here please speak up. They shouldn't continue to get away with this.

We purchased a truck at arrow truck sales in Dallas, TX in April of 2017. Janae Finance Manager said the bank that was financing the 2011 Freightliner Cascadia (freedom truck finance) required us to purchase a warranty that cost more than $3,000 not including roadside service warranty that we were sold. The Dealer told us we had a 90 day warranty as well as an extended warranty and a warranty called B Warranty. We felt we were covered no matter what. Big surprise!!!! The truck wasn't driven for more than 500 miles to Odessa, TX and I notice problems with the transmission grinding. So, remembering what Janae at Arrow Truck Sales said to me"if anything happens to the engine or transmission you're covered no matter what. Not true. I took the truck to a Shop in Midland, TX last Friday it was finished yesterday and when we called the dealership for payment the salesperson Ruben who is in charge of helping his client said he never received the shops estimate for repairs and that I needed to speak with his manager

His manager Justin Stated that the clutch (which was not repaired but was the clutch fork as well as that the engine had and of course the transmission had to be taken down to repair. Justin said THOSE REPAiRS were not covered by any warranty. Its offensive and insulting the way they do business. Please do not shop at this dealership anywhere in the states.

Arrow truck sales, please do not buy any trucks from them because all you is keep on spending money. I bought a 2009 freightliner columbia at the phoneix branch. The truck had hard time moving and we asked the salesman why, he said that it has been sitting for couple of months and the brakes need to be adjusted. Their machanic showed up and said that it is good to go. We took it for a test drive and the truck was shaking everytime we put it in drive or reverse. Ac not woeking, leaked all air from the tanks as soon as well pulled into the dealership. We have told the salesman the these are the problems and if you promise to fix them we will buy the truck. He said yeah yeah for sure, i paid cash for the truck and also purchased warranty on the side, my total was $32090.00 delivered to san diego. I paid them and the truck came in 3-5 days after and it was still having the brake problem. I called the salesman and he told me to take to the shop and that they would pay for the brake adjusment.

I took in and it was a clutch and transmision input shaft, beraings and seals.

I called them back and the sales man never pciked his phone and i had to call the dealership. Bob from fontana ca called me and said that he would take care of it and would work something out for me. Truck was driven 80 miles after the day it was delivered to me and that was for inspetions and chp. Today on 11/18/2016 i called and bob was out of the office and i spoke to a lady and she said that would call me back and she did but with bad news saying that the truck was sold as is and there is nothing that they can do. Please do not buy anything from them because they will lie to you and do nothing if there is a problem with your truck and im sure there always will be.

I bought a $60,000 without counting the interest. When I purchased the truck Before I left their yard I told the salesman there were issues with my truck with the clutch and the engine was making a weird noise, he told not to worry about it and just take it to the shop were they fix all their trucks, they changed the clutch spring and the quantity valve and I had to pay half of the repairs $550.00. After I took my truck back from the shop I took it on my first trip and 20miles driven the clutch went bad I called the salesman and told me that they can only pay half so I end up paying $700 from my pocket and havent make no profit yet and only had this truck for 2weeks because the rest of time was on the shop,

4 weeks has pass by since a purchased the truck and is leaking oil or diesel from the motor, the def leveling sensor is not reading correctly and just found out that the sensor cost over 1100, so went back to the dealer and showed the MANAGER all the leaks and show him that the brakes were cracked that if the DOT pulls me over I will be put out of service and that the truck has given me problems since I got it and is not dot ready like they promise on their papers and website, the manager Dan told me he cannot help me because nothing that I showed him is covered, ( leaks, cracked brakes, and nothing associated with def is cover under their warranty). So only 4 weeks of having this truck and driven less than 5000 miles I had this issues and arrow is not keeping their word on backing up their trucks. If u buy from them make sure they fix everything before signing the closing docs.
