Purchased a Rv cooling unit from these folks on June 5th 2017 they billed my credit card right then, had not received it in a month, so I called told me it would be shipped in a week. Now I have called everyday since but cannot get my money or shipping info on what they say will be shipping, as I can see now this is not the first time this company has done this. Sad but i will get my revenge reporting the to credit card companys and posting on internet as mush as I can. Do NOt Order Anything From These People.

Total Ripoff Artist

After dealing with this company I find out it was the biggest mistake of my life. After loosing the business and repurchasing the assets they are right back at it again.. except this time they are not even shipping the products. Just taking peoples money. Placed order in September and now December with nothing. Cannot contact by phone, e-mail or any other way. New Brunswick BBB now reporting negatively. Numerous other organizations reporting badly. Why does New Brunswick allow this company to drag them into the gutter?

Steve Cormier, Matt Cormier and Robert Jeffery are all people not to be trusted. They have no positive sales experiences. No one will recommend them. Check out the internet. Hundreds of complaints by people this company has ripped off.

STAY CLEAR

Domestic RV fridge

Bought a replacement rebuilt cooling unit for my small RV fridge from 1985.

The fridge still runs perfect 3 years later, the price was reasonable, shipping was a bit muddled but it eventually arrived.

Are they still refurbishing RV/ propane fridges ? Nothing to offer other than it was a great solution and their customer service was good.

I purchased a RV refer rebuild kit for my RV refer from these guys. The website looks reputable and they offer a great product.

After two months i had heard noth from them. I emailed to no response. I called their phone number and left messages but no responses.

Note that they offer 24/7 tech support and sales but all phone numbers are the same. When you call you will recieve a automated voice mail that will just roll you into Matt Cormier's voice mail black hole.

I left numerous messages to both Steve and Matt but never recieved a response. Then I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau site. The reviews there are the best case scenarios that you can expect doing business with them.

To Whom it may concern.

I have called arcticold at lest 15 times and they will not return my call . I paid $1250.00 for a cooling unit for a norcold fridge. I have had it in operation for 2 yrs. and it work fine until April 2017 and it slowly starting dieing and wont cool . I have tried to fix it myself under the supervision of a technitian and he said the cooling unit has a clog in it and wont let the coolant flow and recirculate. So I have been trying to call them and NO one will return my calls The only thing I want is to get another unit and move on. I have a right to the life time limited warrnty and they know it because I sent the warranty card in to the company in Aug. 2015 and I called Matt.and steve cormier and ask it they got it and the answer was YES. So why dont they help me? I reach out to another RV. company and they told me that they were thow under the bus,and treated them BAD also. So that company dont want to deal with them anymore either.

I bought a replacement cooling unit from Articold for my Norcold 1200LRIM refrigerator in my RV on about May of 2017. We had some difficult installing it due to incomplete instructions. Nevertheless we got it in. It worked marginally for two months when the same original error cold on the factory part came back.

The Articold representative, Steve diagnossed it as a failed unit and it was under warrarnty. I was promissed a new uint in two weeks. After countless calls with not one return call and I am now into my 4th month with no refrigerator in my RV! I lost the entire camping season in 2017 due to the compnies lack of interest in supporting me, DO NOT BUY from these folks. Futhermore the unit doe not fit the Norcold refrigerator properly. You have to make some work arounds make the control panel fit.

Late Dec 2015, ordered cooling unit for Norcold 1200. Early January 2016 arrived in Texas. Unit was professionally installed. Seemed to work, but it was cold outside. Mid Feb, 5th wheel went into storage. Mid May, RV came back out but the unit wasn’t cooling very well. “14° freezer, 45° fresh food compartment”, Milk would stay 2-3 days max. I blamed it on the outside temperature. All summer, tolerated less than cold food. January 2017, cold out, seemed to work a little better, still not below 40° inside fresh food compartment. As it started to get warmer out, so did the inside of the freezer and fresh food compartment. April couldn’t take it no more and had a local RV place look at it and they stated the cooling unit was blocked and is overheating and that it was an extreme risk of catching fire and recommended not using it.

Didn’t matter if was on gas or electric.

Contacted Arctic Cold, Steve Cormier, he asked that I send him and email. I did the same day. Since that time, Steve Cormier stated he was initiating warranty, and several other untruths. So from April to now, had to remove the unit and am stuck with a failed and dangerous cooling unit in my shed. I should have studied them better. Steve and Matt Cormier (either son and dad or brothers) have already jumped ship on another company, now are successfully running this one into the ground as well. Do yourself a big favor and stay away from them and tell all your friends. It’s too bad that Norcold can’t stand behind their junk either, I wouldn't have another Norcold if it was free. NoCold is a better name, yet they still are selling their poor quality junk as well. I’ve since installed a residential refer and couldn’t be happier. If your reading this Cormier, you sir are a con artist which is the same as a thief. PS: Canada’s consumer affair for New Brunswick was no help at all. Stay clear of Arctic Cold cooling units!!

I ordered new lifetime warranty cooling unit for my rv refer. Unit arrived and was installed by certified Norcold tech. Unit would not work al all. Called service tech and after following tests was told unit defective. Told new replacement would be sent. It took several weeks to arrive. Second unit installed by certired Norcold tech. Took several weeks to get $150 of $290 installation fee returned. Less than one year of operation on seccond unit it wouldn't cool. Called and went thru checks to verify unit bad via service rep and fluid installation company worker. Offered cash settlement rather than send third unit. Will not return 22 voicemails, texts or emails. It has been over 2 months. No body will call me back. A Google search which I should have done first indicates 17 complaints filed with BBB.

My experience with Arcticold has been very poor.

I ordered a new cooling unit on Feb 23rd. The ordering experience went well and they were very nice and helpful. Then a series of mistakes and the arcticold team not following through on what they said made me wish we would have spent the extra money on a whole new fridge.

At the initial order on 2/23, I wasn't given a date that the unit would ship out (no big deal, I assumed it would be a reasonable timeframe) and I was told that I would receive an invoice and instructions later that day. Those never came and I had to call back in and speak to someone else to receive them.

Then, after several weeks of not hearing back, or seeing a shipping notice I contacted them again and was told that the unit was on it's way to Texas, but that the large storms at that time had delayed it. Again, I understand. No need to get worked up about storm delays.

2 weeks later, the unit arrives. I work to install it and find out they sent the wrong unit. Turns out they neglected to ask me about the year, and my model is weird and is a strange size they only made for a certain amount of time. This totally sucks for me, but again... I understand. It happens.

Then, we tried to ship the unit back... but Arcticold wouldn't give us a shipping label. They arranged for a pickup. Kind of inconvenient for us, but okay, whatever. We took the thing to our UPS store, where we have a box, and left it to be picked up. Turns out it was never picked up... The store called us to say we had to move it immediately. So we call Arcticold, talk to UPS, talk to the UPS store, and somehow nobody can figure this out. Fortunately, Arcticold sent the UPS store the shipping label and they were able to take care of it. Again, frustrating but it happens.

Then, another week passes and I haven't heard anything.. So I call and talk to steve who tells me that our unit missed the last shipment so we have to wait till the next week due to easter to have ours shipped out. He promises to call me with an update later that day and never does. I'm getting pretty annoyed...

Fast forward to this week. I call in on tuesday and ask where my unit is. I probly didn't sound too happy on the phone and received and equally unhappy response telling me that it's almost in Texas. Then they have a label waiting to ship it to me. I was told that I should see it on wednesday of next week and promised that I would get a call with an update each day at 9am my time. Surprise... that call never came.

So it's been 44 days since I paid, and I still don't have the right part. What's worse is that I have majorly been inconvenienced, and I'm being made to feel like i'm annoying them. Then on top of it... Arcticold has continually not lived up to their own promises.

I would have saved way more in both money and peace of mind to purchase a new fridge, or work with another company. Save yourself the hassle and work with someone who follows through.

Purchased a cooling unit June 24, 2015 for my RV Frig. RM-2852. Unit failed to work properly, company doesn't respond. Has failed to refund my $630.

Purchased a new cooling unit for my Dometic Refig. Model # 2852 ON June 23rd. Was delivered July 13 and installed July 15th. Went camping July23-26th. Refrigerator failed to operate properly, Freezer never lower than 25 deg F, refig. never lower than 55 deg. F.

Called and talked to Steve Cormier (president) after failing to reach service rep. Robert jeffery. I was given several things to check with installation, checked my installation and found installation to be OK. I called August 3 and was unable to reach anyone (answering machine). Sent a followup email with pictures of install.

I have not received a call back from Arcticold to this date. I sent an email on Nov.

1 asking for a return authorization for credit, received an email from Steve Cormier that said he would have "Carol send an email with shipping label", sent a reminder on November 9 and another reminder on November 23rd. I'm still waiting for a return shipping label. This unit was a LIFE TIME Warranted unit with free return shipping.

After repeated tries to contact anyone from Arcticold I filed a complaint with the AlanticProvinces BBB. They have failed to respond. I would highly recommend NOT doing business with them.

these guys are bad news

Bought a cooling unit from Arctcold in july 2015,,,,, long story-short I do not have a working fridge in my RV a year later weather it be Steve,Matt or Robert,,,all have given me a line of B.S. I jumped through all the hoops with there checks,, spent $1000.00 + on RV techs checking what they said to check replacing what didnt need to be replaced,,,,,and in the end they do not stand behind any guaranties or warranties. I to wish I had bought a new fridge,,,at least Norcold or Dometic stand behind there products.

I filed a BBB complaint in New Brunswick Arcticold,,,,,they just ignored it
