Amy Edge Reviews

  • Mar 2, 2020

Amy Edge was contracted to provide services to my company. She did not fulfill her obligations and refuses to refund my money. She pretends to be this nice person when she is not. She's as phony as they come. This woman had meetings individually with my leadership team, and was to submit her reports and findings to me. This did not happen.

She demanded more money that I refused to pay. I want my $500 back. Do not trust her. She's unethical. Meanwhile, she has my company confidential information and that of my employees!

In Response

I am responding to this negative remark on the basis of the above information is false and has no factual basis. My company does not owe Nancy Brown of Virtual Gal Friday in fact, Nancy is in breach of contract and owes our company the remaining balance of the 4 month contract that she signed. We are already in discussions with our lawyers to proceed with legal action due to her misrepresentation of our brand and business and her non-payment for all work completed.

We were contracted for support to address internal issues Nancy was having with her employees and to restructure her organizational chart within her business. In order to do so, many meetings with her staff were completed, as well as compiling research from competitors, forms the employees completed and other logistical and informational data. I also emailed Nancy many times with additional information that was needed from her behalf which was never provided. All of these items combined were to create a strategy and provide recommendations on how to move forward. It was previously discussed that after all interviews were conducted and provided documentation from Nancy was received, I would meet with her and provide my feedback and strategy to move forward. It was noted that this would take a minimum of 2 weeks.

During this time, Nancy failed to submit payment for services already rendered and provided based upon the payment schedule we agreed upon. I emailed Nancy to say that we would need to reschedule (not cancel) our meeting until her payment (then 10 days past due) was provided. (All of this stated in our contract).

At this time, she became upset and refused to work with me & abruptly said she was not going to adhere to our contract and therefore breached our four-month contract. She also "disputed" her prior payment with her bank and they removed all payments she made to my business (to get her $500 back). I dispute this with our accounting agency & our banks and provided numerous resources and back-log of work completed to show that I honestly and ethically was providing the services and support I agreed to. However, Nancy still is in breach of contract and is refusing to abide by our original agreement and thus further legal action will be taken.

Based on this situation, I have described above, I have not acted in a manner that is untruthful or unethical. If you have more questions about my business or the services that I provide, please reach out and I can get you in contact with the many other business who I've worked with that have all had positive feedback about the quality of work and the professionalism of my business.
