American Reading Club Reviews

I recently received my DOT authority, and so my info is available to the public. I’ve been receiving dozens of emails and phone calls from difference insurance companies regarding my insurance. When this particular number called,(which is from Texas but company is listed in Georgia) she said some commercial insurance company name which I cannot recall. I said yes, I need quotes. She asked me all kinds of information including my drivers license, my address, my truck vin number, it’s value, my trailers value, and my email. The call dropped on my end so I called back, and I received the voicemail. When it said American Reading Club I was confused so I hung up. Called back again and someone answered, I asked her what the name of the company was, she told me, I said why is someone trying to sell me Commercial truck insurance from this number? She got irritated and started rambling then hung up on me. So What the heck is going on?!

My dad has been recieving calls from American Readers Club, telephone 315-207-4378 in the past few days. He was told he ordered three magazines. He never ordered from ARC. He was told the bill is $495.00 on the first day (July 30th) they contacted him he needed to go get his checkbook to pay the amount. The credit card number they had was denied. Just how did they get his CC info?? He told the "representitive" he needed a bill. They called back today ( July 31st) threatened him he now owes $995.00, he either settled up with them today or they would take him to small claims court. He told them to go ahead. I surmize they are in with Magazine Solutions, 7400 West 14th (Fourteeth) Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80214, 303-232-4333 who threatened him earlier this spring to pay $159.00, again he was told he needed to pay the $159.00 or it would cost him more. I filed with the BBB of CO to try to get his money back, I also filed a police report.

I would hope that the Attorney Generals in NY, CO & NM take a good look at these fraudulent companies and charges them with wire fraud & finanical expolitation of the elderly. They will not be getting any money out of my dad. I have cancelled all of his checking and CC accts for his protection earlier this spring after the rip off from Magazine solutions. How these so called "telemarketers" can threaten and expolit the eldrely truly disgusts me. Please pay attention to your loved ones finances! I warned my dad last fall to make sure he doesn't fall for scams. I do believe that they have people on a list that they pass around with these magazine scams to exploit money from people. Building Money.cash AKA Network Systems 4801 Lang NE#110, Albuquerque, NM 87109 is another rip off! If you or loves ones have had dealings with any of these companies listed I urge you to file a police report and contact your finanical institutions. You can have a stop payment to these companies. As I have read that they are billing checking accounts monthly in other reports on here. Karma cannot catch up with these people soon enough!
