American Credit Acceptance, LLC. Reviews

We have dealt with American Credit Acceptance for 78 months Our contract ended in May of this year But I was told in August we were paying off deferred payments 11 to be exact,

when we got the car in May of 2017 through Car Max we had traded backing our car and the company who financed us was this company yes we understood the charges but we were also told we would be able to refinance, wrong! we learned after and later that the company had no grace period at all. One day you get hit with a 60-dollar fee during these 5yrs we have fussed with them because it is hard to have $634.24 on the 1st of every month and yes there was a time when our business slowed down we drove a truck together so we to keep all the bills going but American credit felt they were the only ones that needed to be paid. Their employees were rude uncaring and talked to you as though they never had a problem in there life and you were dirt under their feet. We finally got to the point that we were tired of all these rude people who talked terrible to us and who tried to say we said something we didn't we put recorders on our phones. Some of the employes there would hang up they didn't like that. This year I called in April and advised them about my having shoulder surgery and that we would be late but would do our best to catch up, well things didn't get better in May I had to call and let them know that payment would be lateby then Aprils pymt had been paid,I had fell and broke both my ankles they were working with us yea we were behind two payments our contract was up we had till April of 2024 and the car would be paid for in nov I talked to them I told the young lady I thought we'd be able to make two payment in a row but I was wrong so let me say this is paymts were moved to the 22nd of very month so I made a pmt on the 17th the received it on the 19th I made a pamt on the 24th the recied it on the27th that morning and that night that repossed our car we only owe 7 months $ 4400plus late fees $600 but there telling me the pay off is $17000 the rep said you agreed to 72 payments and you've only paid 65 so I asked did she now how to c**t that's 7 more paymts!! we have paid $41225.60 and now they are putting it on our credit and selling our car I think it is wrong they could have seen that the car was close but now this isn't their first rodeo they have been sued up the East Coast for the dealings and west coast when is enough enough

American Credit Acceptance is clearing engine codes before sending cars to auction. Clearing engine codes before a sale is generally considered to be unethical when it comes to remarketing repossessed cars. By clearing engine codes, the bank would be hiding or covering up issues with the vehicle that the buyer should be aware of. This is not to say that it is illegal, but it is considered to be dishonest and is frowned upon by professional sellers.

When a vehicle is sold, the seller is typically required to disclose any known issues or problems with the vehicle. Clearing engine codes before a sale is a way of hiding such issues, which can lead to the buyer purchasing a vehicle that is in worse condition than they were led to believe. This can lead to problems down the road for the buyer, and can also lead to a loss of trust in the seller.

It's important to note that if a seller is found to have cleared engine codes before a sale, the buyer may have legal recourse to seek damages or compensation. Furthermore, the bank may also be in violation of any industry standards and regulations, which could lead to penalties.

It is advisable for the bank to disclose any known issues with the vehicle to the potential buyers, so that they can make an informed decision about the purchase. Being transparent about the condition of the vehicles being sold is the most ethical way for the bank to conduct their remarketing process.

American Auto Acceptance is a company created by George dean Johnson and is owned by the Johnson Group. The Johnson family uses poverty coercion to trap poor people into loans that can never be paid off.

I bought a 2013 dodge grand caravan at 39,000 miles for 16000$ at 28% apr in Feb 2019. Today the car has a blown transmission and after paying over 4000$ the loan payoff today is $15,675.73 and thats after $4,480 worth of payments. Now that the transmission has blown they want to settle for almost the amount of whats left on the loan.

The Johnson family has been creating poverty in America since the 1990's with their payday loan business and car financing and other businesses that prey on people in poverty. The Johnson family also "donates" to politicians all the time so its almost impossible to get regulations in Auto financing on the topic of Apr. George dean Johnson jr and the next generation of Johnson are cheating the American people and getting away with it. They finance cars that won't work within 13 months.

The Johnson Group/American Auto Acceptance has many fees that will make you basically a slave to your loan which is funny because when your on hold with their company they play music that most minorities would view as racist or "good old boys" music. Help me stop them. We can all get together, customers and former employees.

Help me stop some of the poverty by taking the fight to a business that creates it. Their high apr caused me to go homeless for a month. I have tons of information about the Johnson family and I will be making a youtube video that shows how they create poverty, the politicians they donate to, politicians responses to why they would take money that was earn by manipulating capitalism, and their past like helping this country go to war by being George Bush finance guy during his election, and how they manipulate politics by playing both sides.

Whatever you do don't let your poverty coerce you into the worst decision of financing with American Auto Acceptance. I have been complaining about them on their LinkedIn account, then they tried to take away my free speech by sending a cease and desist letter, that can't be enforced, when that didn't work they disabled comments on their pages. They will use scare tactics to silence you. I picked LinkedIn because George dean Johnson jr and the 3rd use that website to deceive the public.

On LinkedIn George Dean Johnson jr makes it appear like they are helping people by having toy and food drives, but I wonder if poor people would need their handouts if normal apr was given. Everything I have said I can backup with proof and anyone that would like to connect with me, my email [email protected]. To the Johnson family, you will never shut me up.

I receive multiple phone calls from these people. When I ask to be taken off the calling list, I'm continually passed to a foreigen sounding agent who wants my credit card numbers and expiration dates.

The offer is to reduce my rates down to 3% because they run the credit card companies and can freely change my rate. I've asked or attempted to either verbally or digitally be removed from their calling list. It has never worked. Their calls are extremely annoying. I DO want to be removed from their calling list!

I think we are seeing yet another Well Fargo scam with American Credit Acceptance. Here's how it goes. (1) Take out a loan. (2) Sign our paperwork and provide ACA with your bank and routing information so they can make direct withdrawals from your bank (they insist on this). (3) Something "goes wrong" - in my case the dates on two forms did not match up - and they do not withdraw funds. (4) Your account begins accruing large fees. (5) ACA does NOT send you an email, calls you from an 800 number (who doesn't let these go to voicemail these days) but they are not authorized (by themselves) to leave a message! No notice by mail or email. (6) After two months (during which you think everything is going fine) you receive a standard statement (finally) on the SAME DAY your vehicle is towed without a call, letter, knock on the door, NOTHING. (7) You spend hours figuring out where your car went wasting police time. When you do you are informed that now there are fees, LOTS OF FEES. (8) Almost a thousand dollars later you get your vehicle back (if you get to it in 3 days before it is sent to auction) unless you had to rent a car and take taxi's then your out more money and I wonder what the credit ramifications are? (8) But you are fortunate, you have learned an important life lesson - NEVER deal with American Credit Acceptance!
