I had applied to an add on instagram about them asking for athletes for their company. After they texted me regarding the opportunity they asked how many items of theirs I had. After i mentioned that I had one they replied back that they are only considering people who have more items and I could buy 6-8 items right now and still be considered.

I had been traveling for work and unable to reply. Remind you it had been less THAN 24 hours since I had replied. This afternoon I received a text from the company again that said"

"Ive been quite patient in waiting for a reply for you. Should you not have the basic respect to reply to this message, please understand that it is my duty to remove and replace you as well as alert the industry to ensure that no other major brands have their time taken by you again. Understand that this is in absolutely no way, shape or form a threat, to be clear but an agreement put into place bey the owners of the largest apparel and supplement brands in the entire world to ensure situations such as thesse do not occur again. More so this is without question the greatest opportunity you will ever receive from an apparel brand in the fitness industry. That is of course a fact, not an opinion. Please have the basic respect to reply by as soon as possible.

STAY far away from this company. They kept pressuring me to buy more clothes and when I did not respond to that text, they sent this nasty one. Don't give them your money.

BIG BIG SCAMMER

I am the gym wear manufacturer from Pakistan and we work for some of good brands in North America as well as Europe.

The guy name Albert Arcuri who contacted me that we are based in FL and have gym clothing brand and would like to work and make our garment with your factory, we made some samples and he said fantastic quality, then he placed the order like $10K and asked me send soon I get shipment, I will pay you right away, we got convinced and once we sent shipment and got it and then he said I will pay next week then 3 weeks no response from him.We tried call him many times but no response, then we replied our emails and said if you make my another order and then we send you all together your money then we review some of the remarks while google it and got to know he is a big scammer. Anyway we never ever get our money.

He always update his web site so find the new supplier and then make new scams. BEWARE HIM & HIS COMPANY

Threats here, too

I was stupid enough to fall for his scam at first. I purchased 6-8 items. However, I found out about the scam and contacted customer service less than 12 hours later BEFORE my payment had processed and before my stuff had been shipped asking for a cancellation. I got a text the next day saying that he does not offer refunds and shipped my murchandise anyway. I have not responded to him since but did contact my bank about it when he did not cooperate. Today (one week later), he messaged me to say that my charge will go up to $1400 if I do not pay the money within and hour and he will start a lawsuit. FOR WHAT EXACTLY!!?? I also have not received any murchandise, either. NEVER ASSOCIATE WITH THIS COMPANY.

Horrible

I got suckered into it as well. I ended up buying 6 things before realizing they were scammers. Thank god for my coach telling me that. I then went and researched them. And same messages and same threats to most everyone. I canceled my c.c so they can't charge it. Hoping they didn't do it already. And if they did at least I hope they send the items. They can try to come after me but they can't charge my c.c. I blocked all.numbers from them so I dont have to hear them. I don't knownhowntbey even got my address and c.c number when I ordered it just popped up. Weird. Never again trust anyone. Need to stay with the legit company's we hear and see every day. Lesson learned.

Alpha Wear Fintess reached out to me on Instagram and asked to add me. This fitness clothing line SEEMED pretty cool so i added them. They had endless posts advertising an "ATHLETE SEARCH" all you had to do was send them a few fitness pics and tell them what your goals were as an athlete. I submitted and they said i was accepted into the program...All i had to do now was purchase 4-6 items off the website so that i can advertise the product by wearing it while i workout. So i did just that, under the impression that i would actually recieve the iteams that i had paid for (what a concept). After you got the word out there about their product and people were buying products with your discount code that you would start recieveing perks. As a Bikini competitor i figued this would be a good way to get my name out there so it was more reconizable. Needless to say i am yet to recive the Items that i have already paid for. BEWARE of ALPHA WEAR FITNESS and ALBERT ARCURI! Dishonest scum bags ALWAYS get what they deserve!

How is this WebSite still allowed up and running?

Totally got scammed...I advertised that I wanted to be a brand ambassador for a sports/fitness company. I saw an "athlete search" post about AlphaWearFitness. They had a legit looking website. The flyer said to send in three pics along with my social media sites. I then received an email and a text saying I was selected and asking how many shirts I have. I told them I didn't currently own any of their clothing but love to represent it. Am I wrong here. They were cute workout tank tops. So he told me basically a takes money to make money line. And I purchase several shirts. And then stumble across all the rip off reports and decided to withdraw a few hours after placing the order because I was no longer comfortable. At this point a legit business would let me go and refund me. But this company got extremely defensive and acted unreasonable and literally told me if I let him talk he will change my mind. I told him I didn't want my mind changed I just wanted to make sure he wasn't gonna steal my money since I withdrew from the company. I cancelled with my bank so we will see what happens. How awful to prey hardworking struggling athletes.

Same thing

I did the exact same thing! After he received contact from my bank, he threatened me with a lawsuit. He also told me that if I don’t pay the money within an hour plus an extra $30 charge he will increase my dues to $1400. Such a scam!!

Scam, scam, scam

Was told I was going to be sponsored. No contracts given, told I have to wait on product because I'm not a customer and am an athlete, which is ridiculous and absurd. Told them I'm not interested in selling their products, they tried to hard sell me, and I again told them I was not interested and would like to be considered a customer. They accepted that, which made me happy. Today I emailed about my order and was told that all the items I ordered were not in stock and I'd have to either wait or accept items I did not order. That is unacceptable to me and HIGHLY unprofessional. I did not want the items I did not order and in fact did not want the items I did order, but they conned me into ordering items to be an athlete. Told me it shows my commitment level, which in retrospect is complete BS.

This company is scamming and conning people in the bodybuilding industry. BEWARE of them. Do not order from them, do not follow them and do not fall for their lies. They send you pre-loaded texts that I've read almost word for word on the net. They have done this to many others and do not deserve to be in business. I will be turning them into the attorney state general of their state and BBB. This company needs to be shut down or fined for their con artist behavior.

SCAM!!!

I wish I could give NO STARS! I was dumb enough to fall for the same thing I purchased 6 items and STILL have not received them. (This was THREE MONTHS AGO) when I contacted them about a refund they said they do not do refunds but I could have in store credit! For what?! To wait another Three months? Hell no.! Do not buy from these people! I wish I would’ve done more research.

I feel for it

After being promised a position to be a PAID ATHLETE.... i went ahead and bought gear. Not even 5 minutes later I read all of the scam posts about this company, called my bank and canceled the payment before it even processed. I was refunded by my bank and 1 week later contacted by Alpha Wear Fitness via email that I was involved in buyer fraud for receiving a refund when their policy states no returns and that I had until 6pm that day to pay them the $235 merch fee + $30 charge back fee OR ELSE, they would proceed with a law suit with a "$1,400 non-negotiable attorney fee".

I then sent the $265 because I can't find evidence anywhere that they don't have a legal team and wont proceed with the law suit.... FML

Never Again.

Please tell every fitness person you know about this company. They are the scummiest people out there.

Do research

Guys please do your research before you work with companies. Also note a company cannot sue you for a refund no matter what the policy is as long as your refuse or return product. Use credit cards and not debit cards when making these transactions. Credit cards will immediately return your money no questions asked.

HORRIBLE COMPANY

I ordered three products from them back in September and after reading the reviews approx. 2 hrs after ordering I attempted to cancel my order - no refunds only exchanges and store credit- still have not received product- they also duped my daughter in becoming a "ambassador" (that's why I ordered) had her ordering products to wear and she had attempted to "quit" approx. two hours after agreeing to become one due to our research and the owner sent threatening messages and rude threatening emails - was told by our bank to not interact with alpha wear anymore and they are doing fraud investigation.

Instagram sponsored post, Alpha Wear wanted to attract athletes/brand ambassadors. Emailed with photos and phone number as requested. Contacted me same week. Made several scare tactics, pressure tactics, intimidating remarks, and was very immature and inappropriate. He tried to claim that I needed to buy items first, then 2 weeks try to sell, then they would determine if I was paid athlete or not. He was rude, condescending, had a lot of copy and paste type messages to respond back with when I asked him about the grade F on BBB. He denied all claims. Said I was stupid and was embarrassing myself for not partaking in his once in a lifetime opportunity with a super "successful" company, basically his scam company. I would never do business with someone like that. It is a fraud. Many customers report the same messages about hiring an NFL athlete and other models soon and how I was one of a few selected out of thousands. He has been doing that for years according to my record search. Fake, fake, fake. Finally blocked his phone number because he was becoming a nuisance.

I was contacted by Alphawear fitness to be a spinsored athlete for the company. I was selected out of thousands of people to be one of 50. This was all over text message. Then Albert the owner and see hello, who is texting me, informed me that I could be making between $350-$1200 per week. All I had to do was buy $200 worth of apparel which was approximately eight items At first I was very excited because I thought I had a sponsor. He found me on Instagram. But something struck me as odd so I Google searched the company quickly. I found the scam alert. So I no longer responded to his text messages. Then the text messages got more threatening even though in his text he said "this is not a threat". But just because you say something is not a threat doesn't mean it is not a threat. He claims he would contact every company in the fitness industry and tell them not to take me on as a sponsored athlete ever in my entire life So I told him that something came up and I did not want to be a sponsored athlete.

Then he got more angry. He told me that him and his staff have been waiting around all day for me to make my purchase. Which of course I did not. Then he said how horrible I am for not getting back to him and making him and his staff wait all day. So then he texted me again and said I have one hour to respond or he will be contacting every major brands in the nation to never take me on as a sponsored athlete. I did not respond to that text. And I received another text and hour later and said he is waiting and he will have no choice but to tell everyone This is not how a business should be run. And if you need me that badly as a sponsored athlete and your company really isn't doing that well. He claims that he's the biggest brand in the country and you signing on an NFL player to later be named. And his company is growing and it's the biggest company in the world. However I have never heard of him or his brand before so it can't be that big

Scam and Bully Albert

Beware of the long text responses (as he will state they no longer email because text is a much smoother process) and subsequent bullying that will ensue once communication is established. If you refuse to purchase then be advised that he will banter and bully you incessantly until you block the number.

Horrible

"Those seeking free hand outs simply never make it in this industry, as you will soon learn. I still wish you the very best of luck moving forward, young lady! Stay strong and come visit our big Olympia booth this year." Quote from the "CEO" telling me that I was dumb for turning down their stupid offer to become a sponsored athlete, IF I BOUGHT OVER $100 OF CLOTHING FIRST. Stay far far far away

BIG BIG SCAMMER

Being a supplier he cheated us as well.

We manufacture gym clothing and work for some good brands in USA and EUROPE.

We got an email from Albert Arcuri that I run a brand in FL and would like to work with your company so you can produce my garments with my brand name,we supplied him some samples and he liked alot then he placed the order $10K to us and said once you delivered the shipment then I will pay you. We just trust

him and sent the shipment of $10K ,once he received the clothing and we asked him the payment to wire us he said I will do in next week but that next week never come. We tried him to call but no response then after 3 weeks he replied our email and said if you want your money then make my another order, send to me and I will pay all together. Then my management thought that he is a scam company and making fool everyone. We did contact FL chamber and enlarge the complaint but nothing happened anything.

So never trust this person and his company, he always find new supplier ,scam them as well as scam to end user.

He is making bad reputation that American Companies are like that!

  • Jan 23, 2020

RIDICULOUS

I wish I could give this company ZERO stars. They reached out to my son about being an ambassador. My son told them he is not 18. At first they said they only do business with 18 and older. My son said okay and left it that. Within minutes they reached back out to him and said that being under 18 shouldn't be a problem (but you JUST said it was...?) and asked him to order $250 worth of stuff, but he needed to do it ASAP. My son said he would order ONE shirt to see if he even liked their products and would be back in touch. He ordered that ONE shirt 3 weeks ago. Received an order confirmation that said he would receive a text when his order ships. We've never received a shipment text. So I reached out to the company today and they were SO RUDE. I have never in my life dealt with such unprofessional people. As soon as I realized I was not getting anywhere I just disputed the charge on my card and called it a day. Do not EVER, EVER, EVER give this company a dollar of your hard-earned money. It is incredible that this company is allowed to do business.

  • Dec 17, 2019

This company will attempt to get you to purchase around $200 of their clothing for a "trial period" in which they will supposedly decide if you are competent enough to be hired or sponsored by them. If you refuse to make an immediate purchase from them they will first threaten that they have many other "candidates". If you ask for any kind of proof or guarantee of employment/compensation/sponsorship they become angry and threaten legal action should you "libel or defame" them publicly. This is absolute nonsense. They are responsible for their own employees actions/statements. Highly unprofessional behavior and i honestly hope their company tanks because of how they treat people.

Scam Artist

Same as the above. Copy and paste messages. Threatened a law suit for filing a claim with my bank. Failed to communicate. Rude and used bribes. When a bad review is posted he claims it’s a scam or his company won 100k in a law short already. Does not understand the law. Tried scamming me and threatening me, even after being informed I am law enforcement. Will wait to see how his “law suit” begins. If you have issues with this company, file a claim with your bank for a refund in money spent in merchandise. Keep all messages and give a review in BBB and FTC. They will be shit down. Also, google his number. You will find his full name, names of relatives and his address. He used the same scam for GameSellerPros. 407 879 0138

Scam

Albert to CEO, is rude, refuses to cancel order, threatens to sue because i cancel my order. Threats to “ruin my career” in the health and fitness world. Horrible company horrible customer service. A scam!! Don’t fall for it

  • Sep 18, 2019

Total scam a true company that wants you to be an ambassador or athlete will send you trial samples of there product or shirt etc... Ive been in this industry for over 20 years with over 500k followers on ig and twitter and an active account i post daily on..I was told i couldn't reach enough people and i needed to do the trial run as they were not impressed with my social media etc... When i said ok send me a shirt for 25.00 they quit responding.. Fake scam company... Why have they been in buisness for 6 years and hav 0 athletes on there page only paid models or workers.. Plus also true sponsorships or athletes will want to do a phone interview and not hide behind text messages.

  • Aug 15, 2019

Threats?

I really feel like this response from a “CEO” is something else:

I can tell by that reply that you’re simply a child that’s in over his head. We are now removing you and alerting the industry to ensure no other brands share the same poor experience with you again within the fitness industry, in your lifetime.

We wish you the very best of luck in your next industry, young man. Take care.

  • Feb 16, 2017

SCAM

He is still running the same thing as all these posts indicate. I declined after he asked me to purchase 6-8 items, then he dropped it to 4 and I still declined, now to two items. Still the 2 week trial, etc, etc. I also received the threatening message when I did not respond to his text. I will be sure to run in the opposite direction from this company.

  • Dec 31, 2016

It started by them liking something I posted on instagram and then following me, I saw an athlete search thing and thought what the heck. About 2 days later "Albert the CEO" contacted me that they had selected me one of 50 out of like a thousand. Seemed like a legitimate company trying to grow at this point. Then he asked me my age and how many of their products I had, of course none and they only were looking for people who already had stuff. Then he proceeded to make the pitch if you buy 6-8 today we can continue, stating that this would be the last fitness clothing purchase I would need to make. This made me suspicious but my ego got the best of me, so I made the purchase. Then talked to this Albert on the phone still seemed legitimate at this point but then they never said a legitimate date of shipping saying customers come first but pushing me to make sales and promote their product that I should make $100 dollars of sales a day. So I showed some stuff to friends and other people I knew they were not interested, so my thought was this is not for me. Then talking to my uncle I mentioned something to him about it he said thats cool if they give you free stuff but if they ask for any money tell them to hit the road. That was essentially my "OH ****" moment. I checked the site and there was no way to cancel the orders just ways to place more, they said they did not do returns just exchanges. I proceeded to email support to just cancel my order, it had not been shipped so should not be an issue. At this point I found out they had a rating of F by the BBB.

Albert contacted me being very rude, essentially saying I was an idiot for beleiveing the BBB report rather than him. Then said that he would make sure I never had a career in fitness, like he is the king of the fitness industry all of a sudden. I said something about contacting my bank on the issue that I dealt with a fraudulant business and he threatened to get attorneys envolved, something he said about their BBB rating too, and that I would be banned from banks for buyer fraud. I just wanted to cancel an order because of all the other negative things I had seen, if they had been a legitimate business they should have no problem recovering from "haters" as he said. Whereas I would have been nuetral about the company if they had canceled my order, I have only negative things to say now. Had I done more research I would have seen all these reports. I was fooled and now feel stupid for it, I hate feeling stupid. Just want to put a stop to this scumbaggery.
