Lets be clear, Insurance Companies are in buisness because of money!!! They are the wealthiest corporations in the world. Yet when they collect cash premiums every month from millions of customers it sits in someone's bank collecting all kinds of interest. Can you imagine millions of dollars collecting interest?

Now the excuse is, let's more than double the premiums when people go OFF EASY PAY, is how they need to re-coup their loss because of accidents. Really? How STUPID. Isn't that the reason people are forced to pay you loan sharks to begin with, to pay for any auto incidents they are involved with?

YOUR IN GOOD HANDS WITH ALLSTATE, F**U**C**%$#K NO !!!!

I was never delayed on my payments but a few days of time ONE MONTH!!! I needed just a few days. I asked the agent Tracey to please work with me and give me a few days, she removed me from "auto pay" and never told me how it would effect my account. I come in to make payment, which was September 9th (now it's October 20,22) the next thing I know, my next statement tells me on one side I have a credit and on the other side I have to pay more than double. For October ONLY!!!

Not because its for October and November, NO it's all for October payment, they scam money from the customer over $150 dollars just because I WENT OFF EASY PAY! So I had to pay $238.17 for October !!

When I went back into the ROWLAND HTS. location and showed Tracey the statement, she never bothered explaining why this happened? She told me "oh don't worry about it just pay your regular payment.

I called this number 562-402-3000 where Monica ( a manager at Joanne Lu Office) refused to explain and provided resolution in a straight forward way, instead she is a toal C**un**T and hangs up on me numerous times as I continued to call back. Now I am pissed at this point. She now screens the calls and will not answer, nor will Joanne Lu bother to speak with me, so I am going public.

ALLSTATE AUTO INSURANCE NEEDS TO BE SUED, THIS IS LOAN SHARKING THE CUSTOMER. I DID NOT MISS ANY PAYMENTS I WAS ONLY DELAYED A FEW DAYS WAITING FOR MONIES, MY MAN JUST DIED AND I AM GOING THROUGH ALOT. I HAVE HAD MUCH HARDSHIP, TRYING TO SURVIVE.

These corporations are filled with on going GREED!!! The lack of customer service, the lack of concern, no one cares accept the attiude of fu**ck you pay me!!!

Because Tracey advised me I can take you off easy pay to give the few days you need, more doubled in money for me to make my October premium? And she refused to tell me of the grace period of time I have, she actually says that to your face. THAT SHE WON'T TELL THE CUSTOMER!!

Allstatate provides no number to call and complain to the corporation, these chicken s**t franchises agents are crap, especailly when Koreans and Chinese are running these offices. Both location in Rowland Hts and where that lazy bit**ch Monica works at lock their doors during buisness hours, refuse to assist customers, don't explain jack...so I AM NOT PAYING YOU EXTRA MONIES JUST BECAUSE I WENT OFF EASY PAY!!!

In addition Tracey refused to tell me the grace period and when I went in two weeks ago to give payment she refused to accept. Tracey and her co-workers don't wear a mask when working together, oh but if you are not Asian and come to the office, everyone throws on their mask, refusing to let me in and screaming I am SICK...

I told Tracey then GO HOME!!! Her co-worker says its none of my buisness, yeah actually it is, you Koreans and Chinese are in AMERICA, I don't have to go by your BS RULES. If your sick then GO HOME, stop making excuses and lying and maybe you can do job right!!!

When I called today another agent was kind enough to say I can change agents and she will take my payment, but as I tried to clarify if that $238 is for October and November, she wouldn't say. She had her own way of wording the answer. No matter which way I asked, she would not admit to thsi LOAN SHARKING and that is exactly what it is.

NO I AM NOT PAYING OVER $100 DOLLARS BECAUSE OF EASY PAY AND I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO TOLERATE THIS ABUSE FROM THE BIT***CHES!!!

DO NOT USE ALLSTATE THEY ARE SCANDALOUS LOAN SHARKS YOU ARE NOT IN GOOD HANDS!!! THEY HOWEVER HAVE THEIR HANDS IN YOUR POCKET STEALING AS MUCH MONEY AS THEY CAN FROM CUSOTMERS!!!!!

When traveling on the freeway a street sweeper truck dumped his debris load on our car at 65 mph on the freeway. This left paint chips on the whole car and they had to repaint it. There was NO body, or mechanical damage and it was a comprehensive claim. All repairs were cosmetic and should not have been reported as moderate collision damage to every body panel on the car. Paint is considered minor and cosmetic. Now we have lost $12000 dollars on a car that is in pristine condition.

Allstate was upset because of the repair cost (paint job) after a street sweeper company refused liability for their actions. Because Allstate had to pick up the whole expense, they maliciously reported the damage to Carfax as moderate collision damage to every part of the car from a fallen object damage and not the actual road debris. They reported that every part of the body had moderate collision damage. This was fraudulent reporting and they deny that they reported to Carfax. Also, verified the body shop does not report to Carfax. They leave that to the insurance company.

When I went to sell the car KBB states the car to be worth $19000 to $26000, but when the dealers see the Carfax information submitted by Carfax they ask me if the car was involved in a rollover accident from what they see on the Carfax and every one of them offers $12000 to $14000 when the KBB dealer trade in value is $20000.

This is a substantial loss in value due to fraudulent reporting on the part of Allstate insurance company. Basically, we now have a car worth only scrap value due to the Carfax report data supplied by Allstate insurance company.

100% of the time when a car gets a complete professional paint job the value of the car increases, but apparently not when a malicious criminal insurance companies like Allstate decides they want to destroy the value of customers car. We pay our insurance on time every month so the cars value will be restored if something happens to it. They are required to protect our investment NOT destroy it. We expect the Insurance company not to fraudulently damage the value of the vehicle.

To top off damaging our cars value, Allstate turned around and doubled our insurance rates as well which I believe is illegal in the state of Arizona on a comprehensive claim. This forced us to find a new carrier and if the car is ever in an accident the new insurance carrier will scrap the car if damage is to high based on the low value due to the bad Carfax.

What we are asking of them is to make them remove the Carfax information that they submitted with malice, but they refuse to admit that they reported it.

On top of that they never finished the repair. The glass was to be replaced and they did not even replace that!

I included 4 pics, one the day it went in for repairs and three of when it came out of the shop after the repair.

If you have Allstate homeowner insurance, I urge you to seek out an alternative insurance company. You are NOT in good hands with AllState. We're already in the process of getting new insurance. Over the last 20+ years, we had Allstate for car, home and even some life insurance. We have spent months trying to get @allstate to pay for the damage to our roof. A public adjuster, a roof company guy and even passersby have told us that storm, wind, hail have damaged our roof. The adjuster and roof guy marked over 90 places on the roof damaged by hail.

Allstate refuses to cover anything. They made us file TWO claims! Our second claim has been denied. This time, Allstate recognizes that our roof was damaged by hail and storm. But they are also saying that the roof has been damaged by normal wear and tear. Therefore, they aren't covering anything. Yet, they have been a moving target as to their reasoning. At one point, they said we have improper insulation. However, their inspector came out and approved the house and the roof to be insured in the first place. An AllState third party representative told us point blank that they are trained to delay and to deny all claims against homes. I did my research.

AllState has a history of refusing claims, dragging out the process so that homeowners eventually quit. Law suits abound throughout the country against AllState. This is not a business. This is a check cashing place in seedy strip malls. Where's the pride? Where's the creativity? Where's the intelligence? You're not going to find any of that at AllState.

Moved from Mi to Ky. and told them to DO NOT renew my policies-they even went so far as to refer me to another Allstate agency in Ky. Useless-never in the office and did not return messages. Finally called and received an answer after a minute their phones disconnected me twice-never called back either. But they debited my checking $2,336.97 and promised to refund it in 5 business days.

So nice and wonderful and sweet of them they will refund money they had no reason to withdraw against my written wishes. It is now 8 calendar days-6 business days and another vocal promise it is on the way. Asked why it happened and why it is 6 business days and no credit to my account and I get-"well I guess I do not have an answer for that question"! Asked what if it would have caused my checking to bounce a check would they cover the fees-It is not our responsibility but yousure can create the reason.

Crappy company other sites have rated allstate 1.4 out of 5-an insurance company to avoid as you can`t even get roadside help when customers called. Pathetic!!

I switched to this insurance company because of better insurance and perks due to continuous coverage to Allstate.

I paid my down payment of $149.23. I had recently opened a new account with a credit union. It was a checking and savings account. However I gave them my savings account number instead of checking by mistake. The payment was reversed because the balance was at minimum to open savings. I was logged into account on June 7 and noticed the mistake and this was the date the transaction was reversed. I emailed the agent at the time I noticed the error on the 7th. However the next day I did not hear from the agent so I called their office on the 8th of June and spoke with a female representative from allstate at Dakota Bryant's office.

I explained to her that I had mistakenly used my savings account instead of my checking account. She informed me that a double payment would come out on the auto draft date I set up. I also had informed her that I changed the auto payment account to my checking and had received an email confirmation that change was made. I also informed her that I was concerned my insurance would be canceled for the return payment and she reassured me that that would not happen and that both payments would come out on auto draft date. However I told her I would make a payment to cover the initial payment.

I then logged on to make payment on june 10th and to my shock my insurance was canceled. I called my agent immediately and a remote office worker explained to her the whole situation and was going to make payment and she said there was no way to reinstate the policy. They would have to write a whole new one. At that time I demanded to speak to my agent Dakota Bryant who was conveniently in a meeting and would have to call me back. And on top of that it was cancelled on 05/29/2021 the date I initially purchased the policy. So now I had a lapse in coverage.

Finally the agent called me back after I had called the customer support and he ackhowlwged the fact that I had called in on the 8th and all the notes reflected what I stated above. He informed me that I could purchase a new policy with some third party insurance for significantly more cost due to the lapse in insurance that allstate had caused me due to an honest error. I have dealt with insurance companies for years and know that you can sign a no loss statement and reinstate a policy with continuous coverage. So Now i have to start all over for two years to get discounted insurance for continuous coverage. I will be first to admit it was a unfortunate error. "However Allstates policy does not allow for any errors." Buyer beware.

Thanks a lot allstate, you're in good hands. Ya right!!!!!!

Received a very low quote-customized for my residence with all pertinent information in the quote, making it look legitimate. I thought it was extremely low and was skeptical, so I called the agent and of course they ask for all personal information then came up with a realistic quote which was three times the advertised price. What a scam. Of course, it is the insurance industry so what should you expect.

My home has been insured with Allstate since the 1950's. I took over property in 1995 filed on claim 12 years ago without knowing the repair costs. Allstate after acknowleding the claim tried to canel my insurance with them for less than $1000.00. Second and atempt to file 11/2020 was denied.

First claim was for $742.00, second was for $524.00. $8,000.00 is a year old $8000.00 fence and has been damaged by negilent neighbors was denied becasue both were under my $1000.00 deductable. I reached out to Allstate for help with neighbor who continue to casue dammages to my property and ignore my request for reimbursement of repairs. Was warned that if Allstate continued the claim I would be penalized 20%, even for contacting neighbor.

Today after 60 plus years I've decided to cancel my homeowners insurance. I canelled my auto insurance years ago for poor services. If you expect coverage and support for your insurance needs Allstate is not the company to chose for coverage.

I do not recommend Allstate at all. Been with them 20 years. Dont know why, they have Never paid a claim. I am drawn in by their size and perceived reputation. Last straw. Lightning strike. Lost half my power, appliances and a hole in my wall. They had the nerve to ask me how old the paint on my wall is. They also want me to pay for all inspections and repairs up front. I have $25 in the bank..

  • Oct 7, 2020

I was involved in car accident 8 years ago. Allstate insurance was my carrier. I was rear ended by driver who admitted speeding into me. This drivers insurance company went Bankrupt and my own carrier refuses to pay me under my PIP plan. I have gone to not one but two arbitrations trying to collect. Twice the arbitrators awarded me $40,000 . forty thousand dollars. Allstate refuses to pay. They keep stalling knowing that the courts are backed up in New jersey last year and one-half. iI even changes lawyers hoping for different result. I called Allstates national headquarters in Northfield IL., they told me that Allstate New Jersey is not part of the allstate company is separate company and they have no real jurisdiction or real connection with them.

An individual that works for Tom Wilson (CEO) of Allstate (who shall remain nameless as i don"t want them reprimanded) explained that New Jersey Allstate receives constant complaints in their office for same issues. Allstate headquarters is helpless in settling New Jersey cases but they assured me any other state But NEW JERSEY i would have received a settlement within two to two and one half years.

Allstate national headquarters does not have my policy on file. a fifteen year customer. Stay away from Allstate New Jersey

Be aware at how Allstate inappropriately increases your premium. They overstate the rebuild cost of your dwelling and overestimate the value of your furnishings. Example on a 1,200 sq ft home Allstate estimated $200 a sq ft rebuild costs when new build in the local area ran between $85 to $100 a sq ft estimate my contents at $150k when the cost of the interior and furnishings cost me less than $25,000

Repeated requests to explain and justify these high costs were not addressed by Allstate Beaware

I think the final straw was getting a collection call (I'll go in to that), to find out they even altered my online review of them to make it look like a compliment on receiption and not a legitimate complaint. Probably why his reviews seem so high. I rarely ever post on here because businesses is business, a place has to be beyond shady for me to voice it online.

If you click on his page and scroll down, they made my comment about the intelligent person in the company being the receptionist and how HORRIBLE my experience was with Frank, they sliced and diced my review and made it look like I didn’t know how to post and was giving them a good review about reception. HORRIBLE!!

He should loose his license, he is the shadiest agent I have ever

dealt with. I have been with Allstate for over a decade and always had

an amazing experience. I moved to California a couple years ago and

needed a rep, he gave me the lowest quote and was fast to respond so I

thought, great! Signed up with him.

After he got my policy he

started raising rates, marking that I drive more than double what my

odometer says, listing an added youth that was only allowed to drive my

Honda as the main driver on an Aston Martin. When I confronted him he

basically said I was a “whor*e” and he couldn’t keep track of all the

men on my policy, they were my kids and a friend of my sons that was

homeless, I’m a conservative and do not believe in things out of

marriage, not that that matters but it was completely insulting.

Then he locked my account so he could retain it when I told him I was

going to sign up with another Allstate agent so I had to switch

companies all together. Now I sent my email canceling the two accounts

he made for me so he could double charge me on the same car, I thought I

was free!! Nope. He sent me a formal cancellation for one day Ben

though I stated in the email BOTH and sent the other to collections.

To

pull up his website and see how they altered my review is repulsive, I

can’t believe that is even allowed. Stay away from this company.

Allstate itself is great but NEVER trust Frank.

On 10/07/2019 i was involved in a car accident car backed up into me and the driver was unsuired and i suffered pain and and emotional distress from all of this. My insurance company violated the consumer protection laws and handled my claim in bad faith. So thats i wanna put this out here i would never reccomend nobody to get Allstate, Allstate Slogan is you in good hands with is a lie.

These two are the worst agents in AllState. They discriminated against my cousin who is a woman and said they will not help her with anything at all, even though she was the one insured with AllState and has all the right coverages.

They are not paying any of her repair charges because of straight discrimination. They said she's a woman and will not pay? They are doing unfair claim practice and is saying she's a bi*ch on a recorded line! I can't believe they disrespected her like that.

Francisco Nguyen and Zachary (Zach) Golin are two unprofessional males going against her. Please report and make a complaint on them.

The process was simple. Our home burned almost completely down Later condemned) in a matter of minutes after a freak grease fire in our kitchen. Fire, police, etc conducted their investigations. A week later, allstate conducted their investigation.

Sketches were drawn. Restoration companies were contacted and conducted walkthroughs. Estimates were developed and submitted Even if it took 5 weeks without a word from the adjuster). Allstate tried to rule out my spouse as an "insured" because an insured is either the homeowner or a resident relative, and her name is not on the deed.

Once all that was settled, it seemed appropriate they would forward us some method of payment for our ongoing, unforeseen out-of-pocket expenses. Most of which would not have occurred in normal circumstances.

This was not the case.

Today marks 8 weeks that allstate has offered empty platitudes, excuses, and vague descriptions of the cause for their delay. My wife, two children, and i had been staying with friends who graciously offered us their hospitality so that we could stay in their home over the short term. This was short-lived, however, and was not a deal in any way involving allstate other than that they were aware of it.

We are paying to live in a hotel as allstate refuses to pay for us to live in a home temporarily, even after they have claimed they will pay to have our home rebuilt. No timetable has been set. In the meantime, we are burning through our savings, tax refund, fundraising money, and every resource available to us just to keep our kids from going hungry or homeless for one day. Allstate has not afforded us one penny for up-front expenses, rather suggesting we keep receipts for "reimbursement."

How much up-front capital does the average homeowner have lying around in the event of a catastrophe? $5,000? $50,000? $0?

Any of these would be their own sort of "insurance policy." but that, is what they call "purpose defeating." we would not pay insurance premiums to allstate if we believed for a second that the only time in our lives we ever attempted to utilize our homeowners insurance, they would refuse to move an inch over a 2 month span, causing us to become destitute and left uncertain of where we will sleep next week.

In addition to filing a complaint with the pennsylvania department of insurance and the national association of insurance commissioners, i am also actively making our case heard on social media @mdostaldrums on twitter and #dostalfirefund as well as on scamion. Someone, whether the media, the press, a pro-bono attorney, someone has to protect us from the company that we thought would protect us from disaster who is, instead, causing this disaster to deal exponentially more damage to us.

I was hit by a driver that did not have enough insurance to cover my wheelchair repair and doctor and hospital bills. I have had Allstate Insurance for many years and what is called "under insured motorest coverage". I sent a claim to Allstate your in good??? hands, and was told that the bills were not from this accident. All the bills dated the day of the accident from hospital and doctors. My wheelchair, yes that's right, I was in my wheelchair when hit, were from the accident. I was told that they would not cover any of it.

I asked them what under insured motorest was about if not to cover bills unpaied by his insurance. NO ANSWER??? WOW are you in good hands ????? You better guess again. It's good for them to take your money but not give you anything for it nothing. Watch out!

I was with American family insurance for years. My rates kept going up. I switched to my dads lifelong insurance agency. I was quoted $508 for 6 months on my 2011 Honda CRV. Today I went online to pay my $100 approx payment.

I was shocked to see my payment was now $150!!! I called the agency and was told I had a speeding ticket 2 years ago. I disclosed this ticket and the accident I had 4 years ago at the time of quote. I was furious! I called USAA for a quote who told me this was a common practice for insurance agencies to get new customers.

They took all my info including my ticket and not at fault accident. Iam happy to say my insurance is now $85 a month permanently! Shame on Christopher Gardner for misleading me!

Allstate Insurance poor service and subsequent cancellation

3-4-2019: spoke to Antonio Martinez about an Auto Insurance Policy for 2 cars. After discussions, agreed to buy the policy. E-signed documents and an auto payment was deducted from checking account.

I was told to wait a day and then cancel my previous policy.

3-5-2019: cancelled my previous policy

3-5-2019: Received policy documents from assigned agent Yvonne Lau

A few days later, I received a reminder to pay a second installment. I was under the impression that the 6 month premium had already been paid. I called the agency and had a nasty customer service experience with Nathalie Galvan. I asked her to have Yvonne call me back. I did not receive a call from Yvonne so I sent an email to her. I received an auto reply acknowledging my email. Another day no return call from Yvonne. So I called the Corporate office. I was told nothing could be done about the full premium payment discount because a week had passed since the inception of the policy.

Service is very important to me and since the agent Yvonne Lau had still not returned my call, I decided to shop for another carrier.

When I received the proof of experience letter from Allstate, it showed a lapse between policies. The premium was deducted on 3-5-19 and the ID cards showed a date of 3-11-19. I tried to reach out to the agent Yvonne Lau again and received no response. So I called the corporate office again. I was told that since I had agreed to an ‘early signing’ discount, the policy was delayed by a week. I said I did not recall this ever being mentioned to me. Corporate was adamant in their stance. I now find out that the salesperson had not included this ‘early signing’ discount but rather it was the agent Yvonne Lau that did it.

I was worried about a scam and Allstate being involved in it at all levels. I cancelled my policy. Agent Yvonne Lau has still not contacted me.

By the way, her agency does not have a 5 star review, as I was told by the corporate office. She has a 2.3 star review. Upon reading some of the reviews, I do believe this practice is so when the policy comes up for renewal, the premium would go up considerably.

In 2008, Bank of America was involved in a litigation because of lack of communications between departments. We all know how this affected the financial industry, levied fines and so forth. I believe Allstate should be cognizant of these facts and do their due diligence. Regulators will eventually see through these scams and then there will be hell to pay!

  • Dec 3, 2018

This is being filed two years late due to my having to go through a 2 yerar treatment for breast cancer. I am jsut starting to catch up on all that I missed and happened within the two years of my being so sick.

Back in November 2016 we found a leak that had apparently being going on for some time but we did not know this. I saw a purple spot on my vinyl kitchen flooring and called about 30 companies asking if they could tell me what the purple spot was and no one could help me. I was able to feel back behind the fridge and it was totally dry and was able to look back behind there and saw nothing., This continued and the purple spot spread. One day I saw that the purple spot was spreading to the shower which is behind our kitchen where the puirple spot was and that was when I became worried. Never at any time did I ever see any water.

I then called a plumber to ask him if he would come and move my fridge because I was unable to roll it forward and when he did there was black mold everywhere the eye could see. This was the same fridge tha came with the house when we closed on it back in March of 2011 and the fridge was new. About two years after we moved here we were having trouble with the icemaker and the fridge was vibrating all over the floor and making terrible noises so we finally turned off the icemaker to get the noise to stop and could not understand why a new fridge would have an icemaker go out so fast but that vibrating noise was deafening.

I was going through chemo at the time I saw the horrible mold and it made me immediately sick. The plumber ran from our house and told us good luck and told us that we need to call our insurance company. I only wanted out of our house due to the extensive damage and called Mr. Arnold and asked him if we are covered for mold damage. He said this: Do you want to file a claim? I stated that I only wanted to know if we are covered for mold damage. Mr Arnold asked: Do you want to file a claim? I stated No that I wanted to know about mold damage.

He again asked "Do you want to file a claim? I repeated myself again and he for the third time asked me: Do you want to file a claim? I told him that if I have to file a claim to find out an answer then I guess I will have to file a claim. He would not give me any answer to my mold questions without me filing a claim. I remember it like it was yesterday. All the while I am getting sicker.

After that the Overland Park Kansas Allstate claim department people who took the claims called me and I had no idea of where the damage was or what it was coming from since the bathroom was behind the kitchen. I did not know if we had a leak in the bathroom or the kitchen. The Overland Park Allstate men told me on the phone that Allstate would not cover a water leak???? Now they are supposed to just take the claims and do not rule on the claims. Then We took a lot of pictures of the mold. Then Overland Park of Allstate told me to CLEAN the mold with Clorox?????

I told them I am going through chemo. They again told me to clean the mold so any adjuster they would send would be able to see any leak. I had about 8-12 inches to climb through between the fridge and the cabinets and I continued to squeeze through the small space with an even smaller space in the back where I was trying to clean and tried to wipe those pipes down by spraying with Clorox all the while having to stop to vomit. The fridge could not be moved as it was literally falling through the floor.

They told me it would be 2-3 days before they could get an adjuster in here. I asked them to get me out of the house until the adjuster gets here becuase it was making me sick. All of a sudden they found a guy our agent knew who works for Allstate in Springfield MO who came here then to all of a sudden to look at the damage. This guy came and he did not go look at the pipes, nor did he go under the house nor did he go into the bathroom where the leak was located..

The first thing he did was use our bathroom for personal use. Then he stood at our kitchen sink, looked across the room at the pipe of the icemaker crossed his arms and kept them crossed as if we were inconveniencing him and told me that the icemaker had not been screwed onto the coupling the right way. I told him that I probably knocked everything loose by squeezing back into that small space and by trying to clean it because I definitely did and I had my hands all over the black mold in trying to clean it as Allstate asked me to do which I thought was wrong. His words as he stood at our kitchen sink with his arms crossed were this: WE do not cover water leaks. I told him to get out of my house and he is not proper representation because he is not a homeowners adjsuter.

Since I was sick from breathing mold we had to let someone in fast who could fix this and we ended up tearing out three rooms of drywall, pulling out all the kitchen cabinets, replacing the toilet and all the flooring in the kitchen, closet and the bathroom, We did very extensive work because the holidays were coming and we had no other choice since Allstate would not place us in temporary housing until it was done. The workman worked on this day and night until it was finished. It cost us about $30,000 to replace everything that needed to be replaced but we could not afford to replace the fridge which we still have to this day and the fridge was sitting right in all that mold. Since we cannot see under the fridge we do not know the damage it may have caused to the fridge.

After the workers left and the work was finished I read my policy and Allstate should definitely had paid for those damages. We have a relatively new home that has been built well so since the fridge was already here when we bought the house we never pulled it out to check for water leaks not did we at any point ever see any water. The water had leaked into the OSB board and sat under the vinyl flooring and had spread over who knows how long becuase I have no idea of how long the leak was there as we neer saw any water and there was never any indiucation of water other than when I started seeing purple in the bathroom shower and that was when I knew we must have a larger issue that a stain on the floor. I had thought the stain was from Easter egg dye that the lady who lived here before us used when she dyed eggs for her grandchildren since it was right next to the stove and the stove and the fridge were within 18 inches apart.

We now have a claim showing on our policy that I would never had wanted there and never wanted to start with just to answer a question. I feel as though my rights as a policy holder were denied due to my having to text pictures to the claims department in Overland Park, Kansas who was not here so they did hot know what had happened. They saw the damages over a picture but they did not know the paerticulars. We were denied our right to find a claims rep of our own of which we had to do with a tornado claim that Allstate underpaid on one year before that.

After we found our own adjuster was when Allstate sent another person who finally wrote us a check for the proepr anmout on the torando claim but then Allstate back then aoso did not tell me that if the claim on the tornado was fixed in time we would get back money and one ever told me this. We lost money on that claim also. We had to pull the men off fixing the tornado damage claim in order to fix the mold damage because the mold was more important at the time then the tornado damage. Then we had to pay out of our pocket over $30,000 for all the damages inside our house from the damages inside our home.

Allstate claimed that since the icemaker was not screwed onto the pipe properly they would not cover the claim but I never saw that because I was too busy scrubbing the pipes and since that was where the mold was the worst where I scrubbed the most so I most likely knocked the pipe loose when I was scrubbing and spraiying the clorox that Allstate told me to do. At any rate this was not done by any fault of ours but we think when the fridge was vibrating if that happened then was when the pipe was knocked loose unless I did when cleaning the mold as Allstate told me. Aside from that if this fridge was here when we closed on the house and our house was USDA inspected the leak could not have been there when we bought the house.

Allstate should never tell any customer to clean up before any adjuster gets there and we were also denied an adjuster since this guy who came owned an office in the Springfield, Missouri area. He was no adjsuter but only traveling to Joplin form Springfield so they told him to come by here and look at out claim. We were denied a proper adjuster. This man looked at nothing but only stood there and glanced at it all and told uis they will not cover it. They would not cover it because they knew the claim would cost too much out of Allstate pocket so that is why they denied it. They surely did not hesitate to charge our policy for a claim they did not pay though.

The way we were treated by this claims process is not acceptable. There is no way we should have bween treated like this and definteily not told to clean it up before anyone got here to look? I want Allstate to tell me why this happened and what their LEGITIMATE reasoning was for their denial and tell me why they would tell their customer that we have to clean up the mold damage before they would send someone to look and why we were denied proper adjuster response and qualifications as such. Their claim dept in Overland Park also denied the claim over the phone????

Allstate screwed us on this claim and everything they did was wrong on this claim. Now they have us showing that we have a claim on our policy that they did not pay on when that should never have happened. All this happened within 8 hours and the letter of denial was sent to us in less than 30 days. The letter of denial shows a stupid reason for a deniual when we were not represented. This was a true enmergency and they way Allstate and my agent handled it was reprehensible and totally should never have happened. I would adviuse everyone who has Allstate to READ your policy no matter how much time it takes so you will not be screwed as we were at at time in my life when I was fighting for my life with cancer. To be treated this way is more than wrong.

Better idea == Get rid of Allstate as your homeowners insurance provider. You can do much better with another company.

I paid Allstate for car insurance ($817.72) for an entire year by check, hand delivered on July 3, 2018. Stacey (at Allstate) used my bank account number to access my account, without my permission or knowledge, to take $600. I complained to BMO Harris (my bank) who advised they would not do anything.

I consider this action by Allstate to be bank fraud. I have since closed my account at BMO Harris.

Allstate subsequently returned the money to my account, after numerous complaints. I got my car insurance elsewhere, but Allstate advised that I still owed them $600, and have sent it to collections.

I don’t think I have ever had car insurance with Allstate, do not have car insurance with them now, and will never have insurance with them in the future.

I was involved in a minor car accident and was struck in the rear passenger side in the rear of the car. There was no sign of the other person involved. There was damage to the rear end and side doors. Here finally showed face and had no insurance card or drivers license. He came out of nowhere. Weber is I multi lane road. There was a car dead on the road so the boy moved to the outside lane. I guess that he was trying to make a light which was for him. He must have been traveling at a rather high rate (like 45mph or 50mph) so giving enough time to strike the back and side of the car. An adjuster came over earling but I thought she was with the other party's insurance company. She took pictures and left without her telling me who she was with. One of the pictures showed no damage to the side doors. I redid the way the picture showed and no damage to the car doors but damage to the rear passenger side. The camera picture showed by Allstate showed no damage to the car doors. But one thing for sure there was damage to the car doors. I think that the other party should take response ability and I would not have to pay 1000usd for deductible. Which is two 500usd deductibles. So they think I had two accidents. It seems they used my insurance company to fix there car. I think that Allstate should no pay for anything but his insurance company. It's been since dec that the accident happened. I would have contacted him (a young individual) but the info a was able to get from him like ins.company, name, and other info was lost that very night. This problem has caused me to be in a state of madness. I hope I have given enough info about the accident and the actions of Allstate and the other party's insurance company. Remember he was not carrying his dl and insurance card and tried to leave the seen of the accident. I hope you can help. Thank you very much and any questions call me up at 361-855-6225 and ask for Gilbert Garcia. Please keep in touch and give me some idea of what is going on. gilbert r. Garcia.

I bundled my homeowners and auto insurance with allstate ins back in July 2017. Iwent through FreeLand Ins Agency. I set it up on automatic withdrawl out of my bank account. Someone at this office messed up and only put my homeowners in the system well my birthday was on February 10 I went to get my plates and needless to say I have been driving all around with no insurance coverage on my vehicles. For 7 mths I thought I was insured but was not.Now I have been without a vehicle since my birthday because I can't get my plates. No proof of Ins. I was told in order to get a proof of insurance I have to pay 460.46 for the old policy from July 2017 to Jan 2018 to pay for ins I never had. Then I have to pay 217.00 for the policy from Jan2018 to Feb 2018. I feel I should only have to pay at the most Jan and Feb of this year. I should not have to pay for last years when I never had it. Its not my fault someone in the office made a huge mistake and they didn't get thier money for that period of time I didn't get coverage. Thank God I didn't get in a accident during those months with no coverage!!! I have been 8 days so far with no plates or vehicles no proof of ins while they were trying to cover thier mess up so it will look like I had coverage the whole time so no one will know I have been driving around with no coverage due to thier mistake. Now it is the weekend and Monday is a holiday so we are up to 11 days with no vehicles. I have been on the phone for a week trying to get a proof of ins. I have been bounced around from person to person like a yo-yo, I have been hung up on and sent to countless answering machines. I have left messages and still waiting for call backs but I won't hold my breath on that. What a mess. I also have to pay a extra 20.00 to get my plates now because they are past due. Just remember the motto at Allstate "you are in good hands". I would hate to see the bad hands.

My mother is homeless due to a water pipe that froze and broke in January. https://www.gofundme.com/don-tbuyallstate. My mother appreciates and thanks anyone in advance for any help: A Booklet in Exchange For A Donation - Make a voluntary donation to my mother, who is in need, and receive a booklet highlighting what steps you can take to protect you and your family in the event of a homeowner's claim for water damage. Two - chart your donation on this website. Three - pass the pamphlet along to someone else to keep this project going. - We discovered the damage upon return from out of town medical treatment. The family home suffered extensive damage, including mold secondary damage because the contractor, Servpro, did not remove the wet building materials for days. They were fired. The next contractor spread asbestos dust throughout the house during the tear out.

Both mold and asbestos were verifed by an industrial hygenist. Allstate agreed to pay for the secondary damage from this to the amount of about $22,000. This would pay for her entire contents loss. The attorney assured me there was no problem with Allstate doing the right thing. Now, as the home is looking to be rebuilt, Allstate says "The $47,000 rebuild estimate was not received". Your claim is closed!!

Got new insurance company to pick up where allstate ended and they still billed me for insurance i didnt want they turned it over to a collection agency when they couldnt get their money out of my account allstate is a scam do not do auto pay they will rip you off

Allstate started out quoting me reasonable prices and I decided to utilize their services. Then I needed to add some of my family to the plan. Still the price was okay, and I felt 590.00 was getting a bit steep, but I thought I can still pay it.

I have very good credit and all my drivers were in good standing. At the last minute, I added one more driver to the policy...still a good driver they jacked up the price to 800.00 plus a month as I was standing in the DMV and I had to accept it. I paid the 1st 800.. plus, then decided it was too difficult to pay and went with AAA car insurance. They brought my payments down to 490.00. from 849.00. Allstate realized they were losing me as a customer and offered me 630.00 for me to stay. I said I was still going to go with AAA.

Allstate said, I owed them the remaining balance of 550.00 and they wanted their money right then. I said, I didn't have it because they already took so much from me and that I would pay them in installments. They said they could take 2 installments with no time frame. I was thinking 1 installment per month. Well, I paid them 250.00 1st time, then two weeks later they sent me to collections. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH ALLSTATE!!!!! EVER!!!! THEY ARE LIKE A BAD DIVORCE.

Purchased an automobile insurance policy from Allstate insurance in Harrison Ohio. I only paid two months of the policy because I was searching for the cheapest rates available. After paying for the two months I was asked to her three times if I wanted auto pay that it would save me a couple dollars a month. My answer was no and I explain to them that I was looking for lower rates. I then told them if I would stay with the company I would come back and fill out the proper paperwork for auto pay. A month and a half later I had gotten insurance from another company with a lower rate but yet all state took it upon yourself to go ahead and get take money from my bank account. I personally went back to the office and asked why they done this without my permission. They did not have an answer. And now tell me I will receive my money in check form in a week to 10 days. I have sent emails to all state company and to the private insurance agent and have not received any response. Bad business Practice from Allstate and won't put the money back in my account electronically at the speed of light they took it from. I have no choice but to wait at least One week to see if I receive a check or not. I don't understand why they can't and won't electronically put the money back in my account as this may cause checks to bounce.. I will never have another policy with them and would pay more from another company before I would.

I had a claim because another driver ran into my car. The other driver had Allstate Insurance. He admitted the accident was completely his fault. He submitted the claim to Allstate.

The adjuster decided I was 20% at fault and agreed to pay only 80% of the repair cost. The other driver backed into me at a 90 degree angle. There was notheing I could to evade him.

Allstate is a complete ripoff

Oh where to begin. Ok, first, we found a truck we liked at the Wisconsin dealership. Sent in a request for more info via their website. Got calls from 2 different people the next day from Allstate Peterbilt. One of the guys didn't know anything about the truck and not really interested in finding out for us. So we went with the other guy. We liked what we heard so we decided to go up and buy it. Well, then the salesman said that it had to be taken up to the Minnesota dealership and the paperwork handled there. Which was another hour and a half farther for us to drive but they said that's where the salesman was. We thought that was a bit backwards but just accepted the oddness. We get there and start going thru the paperwork and they offered us the warranty to purchase. We really didn't have it to spare and they wouldn't add it into the loan, so we passed with the salesman saying the truck is in good shape. Yeah we should have gotten it, but it doesn't discount what happened next. So everything is signed, we leave and get home. Took them over a week to send the title so we could get the truck registered. Then on the way to pick up the first load with the truck the truck breaks down. We call the salesman and he pretty much said it was our problem. So my husband told him he'd just give the POS back to them. The salesman then came back with a credit at any of their shops to get it fixed, saying we shouldn't have to pay. After the truck was fixed, a week later, and he was back out on the road, we were told it was actually a Line of Credit that was due 100% within 30 days. Nearly $6000.00 after being down almost 3 weeks. Well, we couldn't pay that, and had never agreed to it. When we called the salesman he said he'd never heard of such a thing as a line of credit for 30 days. Also spoke to the lady from finance and she said the same, saying she would check into it and call us back. She never called back. We were behind a bit on the first couple on payments due to other things having to be fixed and being down. So we finally got all caught up and paying on time. But the shop keeps calling wanting to get paid for the work done. Well, we told them to cool it because it was supposed to be a credit, not a line of credit and we have the message from the salesman to prove it. Well then they started calling 2-3 times a day, never leaving a message, and calling the company we leased the truck on to. I emailed her saying not to call the company any more and to stop calling my phone, that I wanted everything done via email so that we would have a paper trail. Well that sure blistered her butt! She called again, leaving a voice mail finally and said there now were problems with the truck loan and the shop credit. And that if we didn't CALL her by noon tomorrow that she was going to "move forward as I see fit". And that's where we are now. She refuses to tell us in writing what the problems are saying that we have to answer our phone and have a conversation with her. Yeah....no we dont. We are and always have responded to her. Just now not the way she demands. We now know that Wisconsin has a lemon law, and Minnesota does not. Seems that's the reason they moved it to Minnesota. So in closing, I will not EVER recommend buying a used truck from Allstate Peterbilt. They will screw you if given the chance.

I purchased Allstate insurance by calling the online number and then i was forwaded to a salesman inmy area. After some time of aving the insruance company i called the company for a problem i was having in which i was aiting for a person to come out for a problem i had with my vehicle and i was told that the service actually never schduled even though i had been waiting for days and i was told that they were not going to be repsonsible to fixing the error they did and instead and i had to wait once more like i had already had. The person i was speaking to was so uncaring and was telling me what to do and was raising her voice at me in a very rude offesnive maner and would refuse to help me. After that incident i decided to cancel the policy and go with someone else and before i canceleld the policy i called their customer sevrice line, not thier sales person, to complain and cancel my policy. Before i did i clearly asked "Am i going to be carged any type of fee or early termination fee?" I was told no, that i would only haver to pay for the days that i was with the company, mind you taht this whole call was being recorded, which was the reason i called the customer service line. Eventually after 20 days of waiting for my money back i only recived 44 dollars out of the 170 dollars that i paid for the month and i had only used up less than a week of that month. I called back and they said that because i cancelled before 6 months that they were allowed to take more of my money as a fee and that it was diclosed in their enorumous contract that they had.

I told them that i had specifically asks if there was going to be any fees and i was told no by their employee and i even got an email noting our call. They started to talk about the law in california and how that somehow by some incrdibly unknown policy is just part of their basically created law that no one knows about and that basically i must follow it and they will not give me my money back. Basically they created a company policy to make sure they stieal my money. I said for one, it is not Califnria law because i just went with Esurance and cancelled after two weeks and got all of my money back ecept for only the two weeks worth and i was in California so how can it be a California law? She, her name is Fiorella and her ID is CRS342, starts talking about well it is in the contract and how she cannot give me proof that it is California law and said she will not be able to help me further, as in she basically said i am not giving you your own money back because its mine now. I asked that i was not going to accept this because this is a criminal act, it is obviosuly stealing no matter what words they had typed on a paper, theur employee said i was going to get my money back and they need to stand behnd their employees and i asked her to pull the call i had with their employee and she said no. I would want to speak to someone else because i anot being helped and she is being neglegent and she basically threatened me and told me that no omatter what i say or how many times i call or how mad i get that all the issues will always go to her and she will always say no.

I recently filed a claim with Allstate Agent Kevin Saddler, LUTCF Exclusive Agent / Personal Financial Representative T: 360-253-6355 F: 360-896-2268 9401 NE Covington Road #104 Vancouver, Washington 98662. It was for my stolen car (and only the second claim in over 20+ years.) I have had up to six or more policies at a time over the years with Allstate 9401 NE Covington Road #104 Vancouver, Washington 98662 . They are currently treating me like I am lying. Especially Brian Olson,Senior Claim Service Analyst-Special Investigations Unit,PacWest SIU,Allstate Insurance Company. Allstate Agent Kevin Saddler, LUTCF Exclusive Agent / Personal Financial Representative T: 360-253-6355 F: 360-896-2268 9401 NE Covington Road #104 Vancouver, Washington 98662 is not doing anything for me. [continued below]....

My car was struck by an insured of All-State insurance on Wednesday January 11, 2017 at 9am. The person that struck my vehicle was wonderful and totally honest but her insurance company was lessthan honest. The same day I was told that I could use a car rental for the duration until I was notified of the completion of the repairs. After receiving several calls from diferent agents with several different claim numbers I realized that this would be an issue. The self same day my vehicle was towed to a collision center for evaluation and that is where the real trouble began.

I suffered a terrible loss on Saturday January 14, 2017 when I found out that my neice was tragically killed in a random accident. I immediately called the rental car company and notified them that I may take the car out of the state for a funeral of which they had no problem. I tried to reach out to AllState but the one that I needed to speak to wasn't at work.

So I waited until Monday. On Monday January 16, 2017 at 3:45pm I recieved aphone call from the AllState claims adjuster. He told me that my car would be a total loss. Strike number 1! I was also given a figure that was dramaticallylower than what I owed on the car. Strike number 2! I was also told by the claims adjuster "All State's policy is that your property must be cleaned out of the car in 24-48 hours after a total loss is determined. Additionally, you must return the rental car in 24/48 hours after the car is ruled a total loss as well." I asked the adjusted if I could have more time witht the rental because I have no vehicle to travel back and forth to work and that I had a funeral to attend. I was then asked if I could borrow a car or purchase a car in 24-48 hours.

This presented an issue because: 1. I still owed a balance on this vehicle since it was purchased in May 2016 after the previous vehicle was deemed a total loss when I was struck by a driver that fled the accident scene. 2. I have GAP insurance that wouldn't go into effect until after I recieved all of the information form the total loss department. 3. I had yet to recieve any documentation from no one during this process. This was extremely frustrating because no one called me back after that Wednesday accident. I had to reach out to each agent several times in order to get an answer. I finally called their Customer Resolution Center and made a ormal complaint that I had recieved no follow-up, I had been treated with a lack of empathy and I seemed to be doing more leg work than anyone at AllState when MY proprty was the property that had been destroyed. I now have no car to get back and forth to work in and no rental to drive. I had to ask several times for my total loss paperwork and recieved attitudes. I even emailed the Total Loss Agent that is dealing with my case and his demeanor was one that seemed like I was bothering him. He emailed me pdfs and I responded back with the things that he asked for but with no response in almost 24 hours.

I am planning to leave tomorrow Friday January 20, 2017 to help bury my niece on the following day. I am scheduled to return on Tuesday January 24, 2017 to no car, no answer and no help. My insurance company, GEICO, is offering to go through the entire process for me but I have to pay my deductabe which is $500. I am in a tight position because AllState is telling me that theit policy is that the Rental must be returned 24-48 hours after a total loss has been declaired, however the aformentioned agent told me that isn't an AllState policy but a state mandate. When I mentioned this to my insurance company they said that they have NEVER heard of this policy. I then called an AllState Insurance agent and asked her if this was true and she said that she never heard of anything like that plus she called another insurance company for me and asked this question with the same result. Never heard of this! Either someone is mistaken or someone is being very dishonest and trying to save a buck at my expense. Help me!

I had a car accident with a wild animal 3rd week of August 2016, Thank God with no injuries to my passenger and myself, Since that day ALLSTATE was completely unprofessional and treated me like a pest although I had 3-5 policies with them. The car was brought to GTA auto body shop ( AS approved vendor recommended by them) and it took them about a month to fix the exterior of the car with a cost of approx 11000.00 When they checked the " ready" car they found out it would not start ( why didn't you check it in the start? ( well the answer is clear- they want to make 11k). The Car was transferred to Thousand Oaks Dealership, and they found out the engine is total. They asked me to ok a used engine which I did and they ordered an engine they got it and install which took another month approx just to call me and informed me that the engine was not the correct engine and they have to take it out and order a brand new engine. They did that and finally finished the car after almost 4 months. At the same time I am paying 1133.00 per month for my range rover , paying insurance om a range rover which I need for work as well and driving the small car they approved for 30 days. Upon picking up my car i learned that AS will not even pay the rental and stuck me with over 2000$ in rental car bill. So AS make all the lousy mistakes possible and stiff their customer. great job ALLSTATE

I had purchased Car insurance through Allstate for a reasonable price for 66 a month. I never had a speding ticket and never made a claim. So I thought that was a pretty good price for full coverage.

After setting up my account they kept insisting that I set up auto withdraw for monthly payment, If you didnt then they would charge you a fee for not allowing them to get your money real easy.

I never really gave it much thought since I never had a ticket and no wrecks to double check how much Allstate was pulling from my account, over 3 years they slowly increased my premium to 93.91 a month. With a service charge I was paying close to 1200 a year. I was in shock, thinking to myself, Why am I being charged rates for a 19 year old when I am 48.

I contacted my agent and asked him what the hell is going on here. This is what he said

"Quote" (In looking our your policy, your premium actually decrease from you last renewal. Your renewal in March was $557.47 and your renewal for September is $542.63 -. A $14.84 decrease. I hope this helps to answer your question.)

I was like REALLY!! I asked him why the price increase since I had no tickets and no claims and that was his answer. Jeesh. So i asked again in a different way this is what he had to say:

"QUOTE" ( I suppose you are referencing from the date of the initial policy in Sept. 2013. Since that time Allstate like so many other insurance companies in Missouri has seen a significant price increase due to increased cost of car and car parts, the increased number od accidents due to more cars on the road. When new car sales increase as they have with higher prices for those cars, gas prices decreasing which means more people are driving more miles and unemployment is lower which means more people are on the road going back and forth to work, this has increased the accident rate significantly.

Since auto insurance is based on a pool of drivers in Missouri and Allstate specifically, those cost are spread across all of the policy holders so that Allstate and any insurance company can continue to be in business and maintain good service to all customers.

It has been a difficult time but you renewal premium did in fact decrease in Sept.

I hope this helps to clarify the increase in premium. I has affected all of us who have Allstate Insurance, just like so many others.

Our vehicle was turning left onto a side road off of the main road, and was hit by another backing out of a side parking lot. Their vehicle hit the front passenger fender and passenger side door of our vehicle. We had an estimate done with a total of $1978.97 which Allstate approved as fair.

I received a call from their claims adjuster saying that we were 20% at fault and that they would cover 80% of the repair. The other motorist was ticketed for improper backing. He is saying that we are 20% at fault because we should have avoided the accident.

We do not believe that we are at fault, and since I do not have collision coverage with my insurance company they will not mediate with Allstate, so the 20% (roughly $395.80) is an out of pocket expense for us. Furthermore, Allstate is only stating that they will cover 80% of a rental car cost while mine is being repaired.

Their adjuster (John Hall) is stating that should have made maneuvers to avoid the accident (this is why she is 20% at fault) There is a pedestrian crosswalk that crosses the street we were turning onto, and we were looking left to make sure it was clear of pedestrians, when the other driver backed out from a parking lot hitting the right side of our vehicle. We were not ticketed.

We contacted the Florida Dept. of Financial Services and was told that they cannot enforce Allstate to cover 100% of our vehicle

Is there any advice as to what I can do? I think my only option left is small claims court

I called for an insurance quote. I was verbally quoted a price substantially lower than my present insurance. I expressed interest in going forward with homeowner's insurance. A couple of weeks later I received a letter stating that my roof was older and they were unwilling to insure my house. Yes, I am well aware of the age of my roof. I was the one who replaced it several years ago. In addition, I was fully aware that once a roof is past its expected age I would not get a dime for replacement. Especially with a deductible. I immediately called upon receiving said letter to tell them I was no longer interested in pursuing policy.

The initial phone call and all subsequent calls and emails were handled by Barbie. Barbie said "she would contact other brokers to see if they would insure me". I said NO I was not leaving my Insurance Company. I was not interested. A few days later I received a letter agreeing to insure my house with two changes 1-exclude coverage of the roof 2-a higher price. I called and reiterated I would not be moving forward with their insurance. They charged my mortgage servicer for a year of homeowner's insurance (at the initial price). They were paid. In addition, my real insurance company was paid. (How did they get my mortgage info - I was told to pursue the I had to prove that I had insurance the past 12 months).

When I found out they charged me and were paid I called Sughrue, I was told the person that had handled this was no longer employed. Conveniently her last day was just the day before. I asked to speak with Sughrue. Before I could explain the problem he yelled at me "you have insurance with us" and he hung up on me. Additional proof, I did not receive or agree to a policy with the first or second quote.

Additional proof, they charged the Mortgage Servicer the First quote. The quote that they reneged on. I have dated emails and a letter with the higher price. If I agreed to their policy -why was I charged the lower/first quote? At that point I requested my mortgage servicer get involved. The mortgage servicer called Sughrue (did not speak with Sughrue but someone said they “would handle it”) MS told them I never authorized a policy and it was illegal to have two insurance policies.

Sughrue agreed to refund what my mortgage servicer had paid them. Weeks later I receive a Cancellation Notice with a partial refund. Finally months later I did receive the full amount. Maybe it was an honest mistake, (who knows maybe that is why the person that initiated the quote was no longer there). If I had been treated courteously/apologized and if they had admitted I never had a policy and was sent the full refund I would feel differently. But this has gone on for months with several hours on the phone. I am someone that has not had insurance claims and make every effort to play by the rules – I now have a “Cancellation” on my record.

A pipe in my powder room wall cracked flooding my basement which was first noticed 5/6/2016 when my grandson and I were exiting my rear garage door, I noticed the carpet was soaked. The water rose from the carpet with every step. Once I realized it was coming from my powder room, I immediately shut off the valve behind the toilet and waited it out. That same day, Friday, May 6th,@ 5:19pm, I contacted my Allstate insurance Agent Lance Davidson Financial and spoke with Sam Levine who holds my homeowners policy to see what my policy covers before I made a claim and before I would call in a contractor to see exactly what my problem was. I never disclosed to my agent that anything was wrong. At this time, I was told my home was covered for everything except for flood insurance, sump pump backup and earthquakes. We spoke extensively for approximately 1/2 hr regarding my policy coverage; again, I was informed that I was in great shape . I needed to know that all of my I's were dotted and T's were crossed before I could think of filing a claim.

At this time, I felt comfortable knowing I was covered and it was safe for me to proceed forward based on my conversation with Sam Levine. More than several times, I was told just how good my policy was and "how it was no longer offered." I've had this policy for approximately 10 years and never made any claims of any sort against it. Therefore, Saturday, May 7th, I proceeded forward and called a contractor to come through and take a look at what was going on. Once the contractor arrived, it was almost immediately determined that I had a cracked/ ruptured pipe in the wall in my powder room and we were well underway of mold and mildew spreading throughout the basement because of the moisture buildup. As this pipe continued to leak, it went from bad to worse, because of the moisture, the mold/mildew collected in the drop ceiling, inside and outside the interior existing walls. These panels/walls was a must to come out. Tuesday, May 10th @ 9:55am, I contacted Allstate Insurance to file a claim after my agent gave me the clearance. Again, I spoke with my agent later on that evening @5:24pm for 14 minutes again reiterating my homeowners policy. Again, nothing in our conversations ever indicated I was NOT covered on my policy.

Sam explained to me what I needed to do and to take plenty of pictures since I still had not yet heard back from the adjuster and my deductible is $500.00. He also explained to me that the pipe inside the wall was not going to be covered but the demolition getting to the pipe inside the wall would be, in addition to any drilling that would have to be done through the cement floor in addition to any out of pocket expenses that would be reimbursed minus my deductible as long as I had receipts. I needed to get a contractor into my basement right away so I decided to move forward with the contractor while waiting to hear back from the adjuster. Since I used the basement as my office area, I needed to try and salvage as much as I could since many of the items and materials I worked with had already been destroyed. I had the contractors immediately bring in wet vacs and fans. The smell was horrible throughout the entire house. I had to have them immediately pull up all the carpeting in the basement. I also had the contractors begin demolition of the walls and ceiling tiles because of the mold buildup and mildew from the moisture to the tune of $2000.00 for mold removal and water cleanup. I paid in advance $1500.00 out of pocket which included my deductible of $500.00.

Wednesday morning, May11th, I still had not heard back from the adjuster. Again, I contacted my agent @9:18am and explained everything to him that was going on and to verify what my deductible was. I explained in detail everything that had been done so far along with my out of pocket incurred expenses. I also mentioned that we have plenty of pictures and I was about to upload them to the adjuster and CC him on the email even though I still had not heard anything back from the adjuster. Sam gave me the adjusters email address and told me he would followup with the adjuster himself. He did just that and copied me on the followup email. Within an hour of Sam sending out the email, I received a phone call from the adjuster who told me I was NOT covered for this damage or property loss. I have an HO1 policy. I am mortified and unable to breath after hearing this!

Meanwhile I have the contractors back in my basement working and I am now out of $1500.00 with a $500.00 balance owed. I explained to the adjuster that Sam Levine and I had several phone conversations over the course of a few days and that I had just spoken to Sam within the hour prior to receiving the adjusters call. He seemed surprised that I had just spoken with Sam and that Sam never disclosed the pending denial. I didn't understand the politics of of an HO1 policy and Sam of Davidson Financial over the course of all our conversations regarding this policy, never disclosed this information to me. I had the contractors come to an immediate work stoppage. I was never so humiliated and embarrassed; I immediately called Sam again at 10:11 am wanting him to explain what happened and why he wasn't forthcoming with me on this policy regarding it being an HO1 policy? I asked him how he could allow this to happen and that he was my 1st line of defense and that I trusted him when I needed this policy the most! This is why I contacted him to get clarification of this policy what was covered vs what was not covered and each conversation, I was told that I was in good hands and good standing and that I had a "great" policy. My absolute verification had to be done prior to contractors being hired and monies dispensed. Sam's response to me was "I thought you were covered at first glance". I was done, there was nothing more I could say as I found this professionally unacceptable!! Afterwards, I was told the only thing I am covered for was "fire."

Hurt, embarrassed, humiliated and quickly sinking into depression, I was sickened! I immediately took to my bed for four days trying to figure out what went wrong. Meanwhile, even with the shut off valve cut off, the pipe in the basement continues to leak along with my basement now in complete shambles and no bathroom, ceiling destroyed and many personal item destroyed with no way of replacing them and the mold continues to grow. I really believed I was in great hands. This is why my premiums are paid on time for the past 10 years. Now I do NOT have them when I need them. I have no extra money and a basement that is now in ruins and still a leaky pipe with mold and mildew continuing to harvest.

On Appr. 8/14/2015, I was T-Boned on 19th street in Moore, OK.. Since car was older, I had purchased Liability Insurance as well as a 50K Medical Policy from Allstate Insurance.. Car was un-salvageable/totalled.. Called in claim almost immediately.. Since then, I had and am incurring on-going Medical Bills and Self-Paying, since I plan to sue the parties who injurred myself.. Allstate exhibited extremely slow service and as of 3 months or so ago, starting nothing but stall, stall, stall tactics.. Since I know I purchased Medical Coverage and are continuing to accumilate medical bills, was forced to file claim with the Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner and an attorney advice-if Allstate wants to pursue their current behavior-which leaves me no option.. So many complaints were being accumilated on their Facebook page, as of today, comments are not being allowed and I have been removed from their page.. Damage Control?? At any rate, they will not run from the law.. Exceptionally Dis-Honest Practices by Allstate and would *****NOT***** reccomend to anyone.

This insurance company has had our account, they are the brokers of record. Kristy Ivie the one that sold us the police is rude, wont respond and help. And has denied my paperwork for our company, she is costing us fines due to her negligence, and denial to perform as our insurance agent by providing our insurance paperwork. Therefore our corporate office is going to fine us and this is affecting our income and future business. We have been told we will lose our licenses for our business if we dont provide this insurance paper. Kristy Ivie and Peter Barrios the owner have told us they will NOT give us our paperwork, they will not help us nor do they have anything for us,

We contacted All State Corporate, they have told us they will not help us, we need to talk to our broker Barrios Insurance Service Allstate Said. Then When My partner called Barrios, the lady Monica said she is sending the paperwork, several times, then hours later stated she will not send it, also Peter got on the phone and was very rude, was talking over the lady partner of mine, then he talked to her as if she was a shild, he was basically being very rude to her as if she is a second hand citizen for being a female. He also is very very rude, wont respond to my calls or emails.

I have asked them several times to sign the "Commercial Agency Change Request", Barrios Insurance said NO WE WILL NOT. So we talked to All State several times, they have done nothing to help resolve this issue. Almost 2 months later, and I dont have a single paper we need. We have now contacted and filed a report against Barrios, and All State With the State Of California Department of Insurance, Claim case number # 7056296.

This matter has not been resolved, in FACT IS HAS ESCALATED, we have contacted the FBI as of today in regards to Insurance Fraud on the behalf of Barrios Insurance and All State. I am sure this will wake up Peterr Barrios, as I will assure you he will be under Federal investigation for this and maybe the State and Feds will audit and close down these fraudulent insurance practices.

Mr Thomas J. Wilson, their CEO of All State is sure to hear from this complaint. I am sure he will do something major about this.

Karyn Gould is from customer service at 5:21 3/28/2015, she is rude, she needs to be fired also. A ton of rude people at All State, from the brokers to the customer service. At least that's how they treated me, even kept saying, whats your name again! Wow.

I have also contacted, the CEO, COO, and the CFO of the company, they also have not helped in any shape or form. So FBI you are the one that needs to investigate this entire set up!

So after being sent a solicitation in my email box at home by Allstate which I never asked for, I decided to go online and get an Insurance quote to see how much I would pay for car insurance in 2016 vs renewing my current policy which is costing me way too much in my opinion. I put in all my information got a low quote, then the next day Allstate calls me to see if I still wanted car insurance through them. The quote I got was almost 1200 for the full year. They told me they quoted me too high and that I need to walk into my local Allstate Office so I did and was greeted with lots of this and lots of that. They gave me a lower quote because I was going to walk out, but would only come down 50 bucks a month. lol

When I got home I checked out the because a friend of mine told me they had lower rates. I called them and they quoted me 789 for the year which was far lower then Allstate's quote but with a high deductible. I also saw their tips on how to buy car insurance and throught it was some great information. Personally I used Allstate years ago and back then the rates were lower. I think there are too many people today driving without car insurance due to no Car Insurance Reform being done. It just hurts all of us drivers in the end. The Car Insurance companies are filling their pockets and not passing on cheaper rates to the consumers!.

I had been buying insurance from the local Allstate insurance company since 2013, in 2015 there was a change in ownership and management. In September of 2015 I was buying another car because the car I had was having problems. On September 11 2015, I paid Alstate agent $161 to cover liability on my current vehicle and to start full coverage on the vehicle that I was buying and the full coverage was to begin on 9/27/2015 based on the policy they sent me. On the evening of Sept 16, 20015 I was at the local motor vehicle Dept. changing my license and needed proof of insurance. I did not have it in the car at the time and it was too late to go home and get it. The worker suggested that I call my agent so I did and I was told that they would fax over the documents in 10 minutes. They faxed the wrong documents 30 minutes later and when I called again to let them know the person became belligerent, blamed me for the mistake and told me that she had other things to do and it may take 20 minutes before she can send the right documents.

I wait there another 45 minutes and left at closing time never receiving the documents. I started looking for quotes for insurance and found that the competitors were charging 60% to 75% less for the same insurance coverage. On October 2 2015, I signed with another insurance company and faxed my local Alstate agent a cancellation notice that stated that on October 5, 2015 I will cancel the policy with them and start the coverage with the new policy.

At the time of the cancellation of my policy with Allstate, I had only been covered for eight days but had paid up to October 27, 2015. On October 12, 2015 at 2:45 PM, I was in the area and stopped in to speak with the Allstate agent Cody Phillips to confirm that they cancelled my account and inquire about the funds paid for the time that I was not covered. I was told that the funds would be returned to me and that it takes 5 days. I have not heard from Allstate nor agent Cody Phillips to date. I noticed that on the website they have posted a bill for $172.01 due 10/22/2015. ON 10/27/2015. I received a bill by email that I owe $264.11 and it is due on 10/22/2015. I called to talk to them about it and they say that they never received the fax, when I mentioned that was there on 10/12/2015 to discuss the refund of the 22 days I paid for that I was not covered for from 10/5/2015 to 10/27/2015. I was told now that I will not get any money back and she hung up the phone. They have 22 days worth of payments that they were paid in advance and did not earned, because I cancelled due to the disrespect shown when I requested information from them.

I recently switched over to Allstate insurance from USAA due to cost considerations.

when joining allstate I was offered a device to plug in my vehicle to record my "safe driving" habits.

I drove today to my chrysler dealer to have some transmission work performed.

the chrysler dealer removed the device from the vehicle.

the vehicle drove normally up to dealership with no new problems.

upon removing the device the vehicle went in a electrical tornado. dash ligts were flashing, headlights flashing,

tailights were flashing, the vehicle refused to start for the delaerhsip.

the dealer ship performed a "hard start" to get vehicle running.

informed of this I called local insurance agent. told them the issue.

they informed me that unless I could prove documentation that the device did it they are not responsible.

dealer called with the problem, a "computer failure" to me. the " PCM= car's computer had a "terminal short"= BURNT.

dealer could not prove that device caused the failure. I will have to pay $1245.00 out of my pocket.

Allstate is NOT the good hands people! They don't stand behind their product.

I work between Alabama and Florida and have a house in both states insured by Allstate. While staying in Florida half the time, I send my spouse and children to the Alabama home for summer vacation. This year summer vacation there included an entire list of home repairs to keep the house tip top shape. (windows, doors, jambs replaced with new if not functioning right). Spouse left for Florida in mid July. He went back in Sept 20th for fall repairs, gardening etc.

When husband returned 2 months (8 weeks) he found that a water leak in the master bedroom on the third floor had destroyed half the house. The walls, carpets, counters, cabinets, ceiling, and wood floors have fallen from the 3rd to 2nd floor and on to basement. Now Allstate says that it is not covered because it is under the clause of long-term damage and neglect of the property.

Not only did they fail to mention such clause existed, but they failed to send an original coverage statement when home bought. Just sent us letter saying we had DELUXE PLUS COVERAGE, with extended replacement on dwelling personal property reimbursement. 2 MONTHS and is considered extended damage.

How is that supposed to cover when people take vacations or go away to school for a semester (that include 3 months at a time). Or for those people that live part of their live in one house and not the other. There is no time limit on the clause that i found on the internet. It is "up to the insurance adjuster to make the decision". So basically 3000 square foot of a 6000 square foot property is destroyed by water damage and mold and after 10 years of taking my money, all I get is a letter of denial.

I've been with Allstate for 9 years, 3 years under my parents and the past 6 on my own. My monthly premium was at $130 and has been set up to auto-pay. I discovered a 2 weeks ago that they raised my monthly payment to $195 with no notice and they had withdrawn 1 payment of that much the previous month and were set to do so for the current month the next day. I immediately called the 1800 number to ask why. The lady that answered the phone couldn't help me other than to cancel the scheduled auto-pay. She transfered me to a different lady in their customer retention department who informed me that there was nothing she could do when I told her that I didn't have an extra $65 in my monthly budget to pay the ridiculous increase that no one had an explanation for. Her response was "oh well if you can't pay within 7 days we will send you a notice saying you have 10 days to pay before your account is cancelled". Which I still haven't received by the way. I did some research into my account on my own and found out I had been switched to the state required minimum coverage and was shocked that they were going to charge me $195 a month for that. Especially when I have no tickets, no accidents, and no claims with them. I started shopping around and was even more shocked that I could get the exact same coverage with Progressive for only $60 a month and much better coverage for only $110 a month. I even had a friend who worked for Allstate look at my account and she had no idea why I was being charged so much. Needless to say I have switched to Progressive and am still waiting for Allstate to cancel my account like they said they would. Again I recieved no notice whatsoever of the rate increase, because I would have swithed immediately, before they could take the first $195 payment out of my account. In fact I haven't seen or spoken to my agent since I got my own policy with him 6 years ago.
