On may 1, 2017 I contacted company to ship my 1984 Cadillace from California to New Jersey. I made a $299.00 deposit on my Visa card. The buyer of the car backed out before any work was done by carrier. I repeatedly contacted the carrier and they were either too busy to talk or the peron I had to talk to was out and today thewy just hung up on me when I asked about refund of my deposit. In all I've made 5 calls since 5/17/17 ands a few prior. I also sent a fax letter with no response. Is this company legit or a scam?

I did the deposit and COD will be the remaining $400.00. Within time of signed agreement, I had contacted company as I never received a call back of what time my vehicle will be picked up. I was told now that the COD will be $700.00 versess $400.00. SPoke with Steve Roberts who made the first deal happen, he was rude and acted like I have never shipped a vehicle out. This is a rip off and he has actually no idea of what the heck he is saying when asked simple questions of why did you quote and make me place a $299.00 deposit to lock my rate in. This is not a customer fault that the driver deceided he wanted more money. Steve Roberts needs to own up to his mistakes as now my $299.00 is non-refundable. If I had known which he never mentioned prices changes I would of never place $299.00 deposit. This is a lying company and need to pay the consequences.

When contacted with company was given a quote of $699.00 with a deposit of $299.00. I have the shipping order form with that quote and days later I had contact the company as to what time my vehicle will be picked up and was now told my COD will be $700.00 verses $400.00. I am totally upset as now I cannot be refunded with my deposit of $299.00. I have been shipping vehicles from the EAST to WEST Coast and was always given the price they had quoted me and price never changed. Today, with this company price has jumped up to $300.00 and cannot get my $299.00 depoist for something I was lied to about. The salesperson Steve Roberts takes no responsibility and cannot answer simple questions of why did you quote me this rate and I as a customer should not take fault for the driver that committed has bailed out on transporting my vehicel. Something needs to happen to the company to take accountability for their sales representative giving out false information and making patrons place this depoist only to be told prices jumped later.

You have been warned. I was reminded from my email that I never left a review for my terrible experience with these crooks. Avoid at all costs. You're better off giving your vehicle to a drunk crackhead to get it there for the price you paid and the time required.

They took my deposit with the promise it would be picked up in 4-5 days. About 4 weeks later and through numerous phone calls and subsequent obnoxious attitudes from all of their staff particularly Brad/Steve (think he's the same guy), they finally get a guy to do the job for $400 more than was quoted, saying it's not their problem that no one would do it for what they quoted. Let that sink in.

Ultimately, I got my vehicle, in good condition, through the driver that they found. I fault the driver for nothing and the experience on that end was pleasant, but All Star Direct did literally nothing to assist in the matter.

These people should be locked up for fraud.
