All Saints Subacute & Rehabilitation Center Reviews

My Father is being held at a mock ER style Subacute that is hiding his deterorrating health from his regular doctors at Kaiser. He has died 3 times since admittance 1/8/2014 from seemigly routine negillence at this fake rehab center-he has a trechiostomy it was from respatory infection, respatory failure and heart failure and almost a 4th from urine retention from the staff refusing to excersise him or let him leave his bed. We have tried to get discharge from this hell hole for his entire stay (2 years) especially the last 6 months but with medical bills our house forclosed and they wount let him leave 'without a home' or update his Kaiser doctors or let him go to the ER for numerous infections, behavioral and eye problems. The place is almost entirely ran by nurses who barely speak english or have little to no health experience. They are also threatned by the owners or admin. for compliance to their 'standard of care' which is misleading families or hiding information from them and their practioners. They also tend to file false, misleading and dangerous reports to the Ombudsman redirecting them from reporting duties and attending Power of Attorney signings. Bedsores seem funny to them as well...the Kaiser medical advice line and Triage is not for the Director of Nursing to call for redirecting of a ER visit or Urology visit to the doctor. Why would we pay for that? 3,312.00 a month or "something else" while still in care. Also the business manager made a false call to our Bank and sometype of elder abuse company placing a hold on his visa so I could not make purchases while cleaning out my grandmothers duplex since we lost our home so he would have a place to stay. I would be caregiver or my brother but he oped out. Im 36 years old. He is 33 years old. We lost the duplex and she is 94 years old. My dad is 68 years old...they knew in advance I was trying to discharge him formaly and save the homes but they pretended they did not at the last moment. Most items are in public storage. The company tried to make us lose it twice and I even got Scabies from the facility and the Administrator called the Sheriffs Department telling a different story.

After an extended stay in the hospital due to West Nile virus Kaiser hospital recommended that I go to a rehab while I regain some ability to walk use my hands and arms and breathe properly. Their recommendation was All Saints Subacute and Rehab center in San Leandro.

Before All Saints would except me they requested, because I was a Medicare patient and limited to 100 days of coverage from Medicare, that I either open a Medi-Cal claim or pay them $23,000 to cover one months stay in case I needed to extend my stay past the 100 days. We were told that the time that they would not cash the check, however we discovered that it was immediately cashed. I left the facility before the 100 days and received a copy of an internall request for a check to be issued to me. I left the facility on April 16 and immediately requested my refund. By May 1st, I still had not received my refund. I learned that the company had been sold and the new owners said they'd pass it onto the old owners who never came through with the check or even got back to the new owners and the new owners have simply ignored my requests for my refund or even to respond at all. However, they continue to bill Kaiser and I receive these bills for services rendered during the time the company was owned by the previous owners. So the new owners are simply going after Accounts Receivable but not honoring accounts payable and I have been ripped off of my $23,000 deposit by this facility. The level of corruption involved in this boggles the mind and is extremely upsetting to me.
